  When the exercise music began, many passers-by stopped to watch. A lovely 2-year-old girl with golden hair and blue eyes watched the third exercise, and started imitating the hand movements. As we gave out leaflets and told people the facts, we met many Chinese people. Some of them came towards the information desk and asked for leaflets and Video-CDs.

• France: Many Organisations and Groups Protest Against Hong Kong’s Evil Article 23 in front of the Chinese Embassy

  A representative of the French-Tibet Association stated that they joined the protest against Article 23 in Hong Kong without reservation. Their statement also said that since 1997, when Hong Kong was taken over by China, the Jiang regime has destroyed Hong Kong people’s basic freedom in spite of the “One Country, Two Systems” promise, and Falun Gong has been increasingly suppressed.

  The teacher of the Rainbow School told the journalist, “Through Amnesty International we now understand the situation of Falun Gong. The ill treatment of Falun Gong practitioners deeply touches the children here...To organise this Falun Gong exercise class also gives us an opportunity to try to change things. This cultivation method actually is very good and very peaceful...My students and I cannot understand why such a peaceful and harmless cultivation method is persecuted in China.”

• France: Practitioners Parade through the Chinese area of Paris and Tell the People the Facts about Falun Gong

  July 20th marked four years of brutal persecution against Falun Gong by Jiang’s evil regime. Practitioners from all parts of France held various activities to protest against this persecution. The activities involved two themes: telling people the facts about Falun Gong to expose Jiang’s deceitful lies and calling on the international community to support the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin.

  Representatives of many different groups made speeches denouncing Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and calling for the release of Irish students incarcerated in China. Behind the speakers was a large banner reading, “Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin persecutes millions of Falun Gong practitioners, 770+ tortured to death, 1/4 state budget exhausted”.

  Due to interference, practitioners could not read their statement aloud to the public through the amplifier. However, no interference could change practitioners’ determination to tell the truth and to expose the evil. Over ten practitioners read the statement aloud together both in Chinese and French; the noise of the passing vehicles also subsided so the voice of justice could clearly reach the public.

  People pointed to our yellow Dafa t-shirts with smiles and greeted us: “Oh, Falun Gong. We were just talking about you! When are you going to start the demonstration?” As the exercises began, the whole hall was enveloped in a peaceful atmosphere. The exercise demonstration ended with enthusiastic applause.

To remember the millions of innocent practitioners who have suffered for their belief in Truth, Kindness and Endurance, UK practitioners held a press conference in front of the London Chinese Embassy. They exposed the crimes of Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin and supported the worldwide call to bring him to justice.
