  July 20th marked four years of brutal persecution against Falun Gong by Jiang’s evil regime. Practitioners from all parts of France held various activities to protest against this persecution. The activities involved two themes: telling people the facts about Falun Gong to expose Jiang’s deceitful lies and calling on the international community to support the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin.

• Ireland: Falun Gong Practitioners, Human Rights Groups and Student Union Representatives gather in Dublin to Expose Jiang's Four-year Persecution against Falun Gong

  Representatives of many different groups made speeches denouncing Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and calling for the release of Irish students incarcerated in China. Behind the speakers was a large banner reading, “Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin persecutes millions of Falun Gong practitioners, 770+ tortured to death, 1/4 state budget exhausted”.

• France: Dafa practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy to Appeal Against the Persecution

  Due to interference, practitioners could not read their statement aloud to the public through the amplifier. However, no interference could change practitioners’ determination to tell the truth and to expose the evil. Over ten practitioners read the statement aloud together both in Chinese and French; the noise of the passing vehicles also subsided so the voice of justice could clearly reach the public.

  People pointed to our yellow Dafa t-shirts with smiles and greeted us: “Oh, Falun Gong. We were just talking about you! When are you going to start the demonstration?” As the exercises began, the whole hall was enveloped in a peaceful atmosphere. The exercise demonstration ended with enthusiastic applause.

To remember the millions of innocent practitioners who have suffered for their belief in Truth, Kindness and Endurance, UK practitioners held a press conference in front of the London Chinese Embassy. They exposed the crimes of Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin and supported the worldwide call to bring him to justice.

  July 17th was the World Day for International Justice. The purpose of this day is to motivate the international judicial system to uphold human dignity by restraining human rights abuses. Belgian Falun Dafa practitioners appealed for an end to the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China over the past four years, and to bring the prime culprit of this persecution, Jiang Zemin, to stand public trial in an international tribunal.

It concerns the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, the genocide of over 70 million people. This persecution is unprecedented in cruelty and scale. Basic human rights, like freedom of speech and freedom of belief are shamelessly violated. Thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have been killed by torture, hundreds of thousands have been sent to labour camps or prison, most of them without a legal trial."
