Email Virus Attack on Falun Dafa Practitioners Outside of China
2006-01-15The virus, which takes advantage of the Windows image file vulnerability, has already been directed at Dafa contact persons in the US. The problem was announced by Microsoft on Dec. 27th, and by Dec. 30th, Dafa contact persons began to recieve a new round of email viruses with infected images as attachments. There was no alert system in place to warn practitioners of this threat. This virus is not detected by anti-virus software. -

2006-01-15Five Falun Gong practitioners and the Falun Dafa Association in Japan officially filed a lawsuit with the Osaka Local Court against Jiang Zemin, former Chinese President, Li Lanqing, first vice premier of China's State Council, Luo Gan, Head of the 610 Office, and Xia Deren, Deputy Governor of Liaoning Province and the Chinese Embassy in Japan. -

2006-01-12A dozen Falun Gong adherents staged a peaceful rally opposite the Chinese embassy yesterday, calling for the release of five Chinese followers being detained at the Bangkok immigration office for nearly three weeks. They vowed to hold a meditation protest every Friday until the police free the five detainees. The gathering also protested against the Chinese government's persecution of Falun Gong followers. -
