During the year, there were reports of persons, including Falun Gong adherents, sentenced to psychiatric hospitals for expressing their political or religious beliefs. Some reportedly were forced to undergo electric shock treatments." -

Australian Organisation Submits List of Persecutors' Names to the Government, Requests Ban on Their Entry into Australia
2005-02-28The Australian Association of Legal Assistance for Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners has recently submitted a list of names to the relevant Australian authorities, which includes 94 Chinese Communist Party officials who are actively persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in China. The Association is requesting the Australian government to deny entry to those who perpetrate crimes against humanity. -
