Canada: Anti-Torture Exhibitions Held in Seattle Chinatown and City Centre

From August the 14th to the 15th, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners held two anti-torture exhibits in Chinatown and City Centre over the weekend. Many Chinese and Westerners were shocked at the torture exhibition as it was the first of its kind to be held at Chinatown's Xiqing Park, and Westlake Park in downtown. -
Taiwan: Falun Dafa Study Camp for Teachers Held in Fengtian Primary School

From August the 2nd to the 10th, 2004, a nine-day "Falun Dafa Study Camp for Teachers" was held in Fengtian Primary School in Taichung County. Director of the Education Bureau of Taichung County, Wang Mingyu, and Legislator Guo Junming came in person to make speeches. Between 70 and 100 teachers, students, and people from different walks of life attended. -
Australia: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Press Conference Prior to Australian Foreign Minister's Visit to China

On the 13th of August, Falun Gong practitioners in Australia delivered an open letter to Mr. Downer as well as a list of Australian residents' family members who are currently been subjected to persecution in China for upholding their practice of Falun Gong. The Foreign Minister was called upon to openly condemn the continuous persecution of Falun Gong in China. -
Thailand: Introducing Falun Gong on the Queen's Birthday

The 12th of August, 2004, marked the 72nd birthday of the Queen of Thailand. Falun Gong practitioners took the opportunity to introduce Falun Gong to the public. Practitioners went to the celebration site and hung a banner that read, "Falun Dafa is Great" and displayed posters containing information about Falun Gong. -
United States: Explaining the Facts about the Persecution to People in New York

In the afternoon of August the 6th 2004, we arranged an anti-torture exhibition at South Street Port in New York City. There was a continuous stream of passers-by, and lots of people stopped to watch our exhibition and read our posters carefully. -

A four year old girl named Fadu, who is an Australian of Chinese decent, has travelled to 38 countries with her mother. They want the world's people to know that because of practising Falun Gong, her father was tortured to death 3 years ago in China. -
United Kingdom: Parade Held in Scotland to Highlight the Persecution of Falun Gong

The horrific nature of the staged torture scenes caught people's attention and successfully highlighted the inhumane persecution that is happening in China. Many people took leaflets to learn more and others eagerly took photographs. The event was recorded in Edinburgh's Evening News with a large photo of one of the torture methods. -
Australia: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in Community Festival in Sydney

On the 7th of August, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners from Sydney participated in a parade at the Hunters Hill Moocooboola Festival. The Falun Gong exercises were also demonstrated. This is the third time practitioners have participated in this event. Many VIPs, including state and provincial MPs, Mayor and community commissioners attended the parade. -

2004-08-14According to the World Organisation to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG), in June 1999, under Zhao's supervision, staff from Wuhan TV Station went to Changchun, the hometown of Falun Gong's founder Li Hongzhi, and produced a film about Mr. Li. The film was later used as a tool to convince CCP leaders to persecute Falun Gong. The film has been the main propaganda tool used repeatedly by state-owned media to brainwash the Chinese people. -

Practitioners in Korea Petition their Government to Refuse Entry to 119 Persecutors of Falun Gong in China
2004-08-13Based on Article 11 of the Immigration Administrative Law, two Falun Gong practitioners in Korea petitioned the judicial department on August the 5th 2004 requesting that the Korean Government refuse entry to 119 individuals responsible for persecuting Falun Gong. These persecutors include Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, and their appointed central and local government officials. -
