Many Dafa Practitioners in Jilin City Have Been Force-fed with Mustard Oil and Cruelly Beaten by Police

On June 29th, 2007, many Jilin City Dafa practitioners were arrested and taken by police to the Beiji police dog base. Police found Ms. Feng Guirong by tracking her mobile phone. They cruelly beat her. They put a iron bar on top of her small legs, then a large policeman used his foot to roll the bar with force. They cruelly beat Ms. Feng and force-fed her with three to four bottles of mustard oil. Ms. Feng's mouth was completely deformed, and she was not able to walk or sit properly. She is now being held at Jilin City Detention Centre. -
Ms. Li Xianhua Is Unlawfully Sentenced and Mr. Hu Chougai's Prison Term Extended in Chenxi, Hunan Province
2007-07-26Ms. Li Xianhua, in her fifties, was arrested in a fellow practitioner's home when she was attending a Falun Dafa experience-sharing meeting on July 13th, 2006 and was sentenced to three years of imprisonment by the local police department, the Procuratorate, and the local court. Guards to beat her and put ten-pound shackles on her. She has been transferred to the Changsha City Women's Prison. Mr. Hu Chougai is in his forties. In March 2004, he was reported for distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. He was later sentenced to two years of imprisonment. -
Two Older Female Practitioners from Huludao City Arrested By Police from Shaguotun Township Police Station
2007-07-26On May 22nd, 2007, two Dafa practitioners, Xiao Shusheng and Wei Mingzhen were distributing leaflets exposing the persecution in the market at Shaguotun Township when they were arrested by police from the Shaguotun Township Police Station. Ms. Xiao's husband tried to visit his wife many times but he was always refused by the police. Ms. Wei's mother-in-law has gone to Nanpiao Police Station to enquire about Ms. Wei's situation, and Ms. Wei's son also went to the detention centre to see his mother, but they were also turned away. The police from Nanpiao District Police Station said, "If it were a murderer or arsonist, maybe you could find someone to help you, but for Falun Gong, no one dares to help you." Facing -
National Security Team of Yushu City, Jilin Province Recently Arrested Many Falun Dafa Practitioners
2007-07-26On the morning of July 10th, 2007, police officers from the Zhengyang Police Station broke into the homes of Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Man Shujie and Mr. Zuo Zhongren without cause and arrested three practitioners. Later that day police arrested Mr. Cui Zhanyun. He has been arrested seven times. His daughter Ms. Li Shuhua died as a result of torture at the National Security Team of Yushu City and the Yushu Detention Centre. Exposing the Crimes Committed Against Falun Gong Practitioners in Nanjing Women's Prison
2007-07-25The Nanjing Women's Prison sent Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhou Zhiying to the Pukou Mental Hospital to be persecuted for persisting in her beliefs and refusing to be "transformed." Every day the mental hospital forced her to take drugs that could damage the central nervous system and seriously harm her body. They also used the so-called "electro-therapy" to persecute her (it is much more painful than shocks from an electric baton). -
Police in Sanhe, Hebei Province Arrest Mr. Meng Zhaomin and Create Hardship for His Family
2007-07-25On June 4th, 2007, Yang Anle and Yang Xizhong with more than ten policemen from Nancheng Police Station broke into a photo studio operated by practitioner Mr. Meng Zhaomin and his wife. They abducted Meng Zhaomin, and also took a recorder, audio tapes, Falun Dafa books, and recordings. Two days later, Yang Anle and some other police officers went to the photo studio and asked for Mr. Meng's clothes. They said he had been sent to the Langfang Criminal Detention Centre (known to be a brainwashing centre). -
Several Dafa Practitioners in Jilin Province Sent to a Brainwashing Centre
2007-07-25On July 4th at 8:00 p.m., Dafa practitioner Li Xiuwen had just arrived home when two cars stopped by her house. The group was led by Gao Wei, the armed forces minister of Chaluhe Town, Guo Laigang, the deputy chief of Chaluhe Town Police Department, and policeman Liu Guojun. About sixty people gathered around as the police surrounded the home and talked with Mr. Li. Li Xiuwen's mother came out and said, "Why do you want to arrest my son? He is good person." More onlookers came to the scene, and Gao Wei realised that the situation was not good and said, "We will let it go for now." The police then left. -
Two Practitioners Lose Their Youth Due to Torture

Ms. Zhou Qiaohang, 32 years old, is a graduate student from Harbin Industrial University. The police used all means, including electric shocks, "tiger bench" sleep deprivation, and so on, to torture Ms. Zhou Qiaohang in attempts to extort so-called "evidence." In November 2002 Ms. Zhou Qiaohang was sentenced to ten years imprisonment. She has been imprisoned at the Women's Prison of Heilongjiang Province ever since. -
Persecution Experiences of Mr. Liu Guoquan from Shuangcheng, Heilongjiang Province
2007-07-24Police came to my home and carried me into a vehicle. A police officer stepped on my head until we arrived at the county government building. They wrote something and attempted to force me to sign it. I refused. The policemen handcuffed me behind the back, and one person on each side beat me. I was knocked down to the ground. They stepped on my head. That same night they sent me to the Shuangchen Detention Station. It was very cold, but they stripped me naked. They poured cold water on me for a long time. I was shivering from the cold. After suffering 15 days of such torture I was sent to Harbin City Wanjia Concentrated Training Team for another five days. Then I was sent to Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp. -
Exposing the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Wumaping Prison, Sichuan Province
2007-07-24The prison has solitary confinement areas, and the "Assembly Division" has big and small cells where many people have been tortured to death. It is indeed a hell and is used to "destroy the bodies, wreck the souls, and extinguish human nature." According to those inmates who have been detained in the prison for years, 50 per cent or more of those sent to the solitary confinement areas or the big and small cells were tortured to death. If one luckily came out alive, he often suffered internal injuries and died several months later. The big or small cells were designed like a water dungeon. Each is a small pit, about one metre below the ground. It has a concrete bed and frozen water. The victims were thrown on the concrete bed without any cover. If the victims cried out from the extreme pain, those in charge would add more freezing water, and the crying would immediately stop. -
Authorities in Dachang Town in the Baoshan District of Shanghai Are Persecuting Falun Gong Practitioners
2007-07-24Ms. Huang Qiaolan, 58, was arrested on November 20th, 2001, while she distributed information about the persecution of Falun Gong in residential areas. Authorities held her at the Luodian Detention Centre in the Baoshan District for one year. In order to rescue her, her family had to pay nearly 50,000 yuan, and do things such as buy meals for the officials. After this extortion, these officials sentenced her to three years of custody to be served outside of prison, from November 20th, 2001, to November 20th, 2004. Ms. Huang underwent extreme physical and spiritual suffering, and was diagnosed with lung cancer. She died on October 29th, 2004, while still serving the jail term. -
Examples of How the Police "Arrest" Falun Gong Practitioners in Wuhan City, Hubei Province
2007-07-24In March 2004, Jin Zhiping, the chief of the Qiaokou Police Precinct, led other officials to secretly arrest Falun Gong practitioners Huang Zhao and Liu Ning at their home and search it. Huang Zhao was tortured to death within 24 hours at the Qiaokou Police Precinct office. The police blocked all information about this. Even Huang's family was not informed. Liu Ning escaped from the police office and told her parents that she had been arrested. At that time, none of them were informed about Ms. Huang's death. Her father immediately went to see Jin Zhiping at the police precinct office and asked for her. Jin was astonished: "How do you know Huang is here?" Jin then deceived her father by saying that she was fine. Actually, she had passed away days earlier. After two weeks, the police could no longer cover up the case. Finally, they informed Ms. Huang's family that she had died, but lied and said that she had committed suicide. -
Elderly Practitioner Mr. Li Shuxiang Dies, Leaving Behind Many Riddles
2007-07-23Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Shuxiang, in his 70s, went out at around 5 p.m. on April 16th, 2007, to distribute leaflets exposing the persecution. He never returned home. At around 5 p.m. on April 17th, the local police asked his family to identify his body, which had been found on a farm road. Before Mr. Li's family rushed to the scene, the police had the funeral home conduct an autopsy on the body, and they told his family he died from falling from the upper level to the lower level of the road. Before cremating the body, the family changed Li's clothes and they found many coin-sized bruises on his back. His left shoulder had a palm-sized bruise. Local folks said the upper level of the road is only 3-4 metres higher than the lower level. No one had died before from falling. -
Mr. Sha Naiyu from Jilin Petroleum Field Tortured to Death
2007-07-23In July 2007, when Mr. Sha Naiyu rode his motorcycle to distribute leaflets exposing the persecution of Falun Gong, his licence plate number was reported. Police officers from the Liangjia Town Station arrested him at his workplace on July 12th, and took him to the Da'an City Police Department on July 13th. His family went to visit him on July 14th, but they found out that he had been tortured to death. The details are yet to be investigated. -
Five Practitioners Battered by Torture are Brought into Court on Stretchers to Stand "Trial"
2007-07-23On July 10th, court hearings were held in the Chuanying District of Jilin City in Jilin Province for five Dafa practitioners. They were all so severely tortured that they were carried into the courtroom on stretchers. All five had been tortured for two days in the Yuesanlu Police Station. Ms. Zhao Yinjie was poked by an electric baton and force-fed mustard oil. Di Shigang, the director of the National Security Bureau, force-fed practitioner Wang Liqiu eight bottles of mustard oil. Practitioner Zhao Guoxing was force-fed horseradish roots and beaten with a steel bar. His kneecaps and calves were seriously injured. Practitioner Liu Yuhe was tortured until he could no longer walk. More than 20 policemen beat Mu Chunhong and force-fed her two bottles of mustard oil.
