Two Practitioners from Heilongjiang and Jilin Provinces Pass Away as a Result of the Persecution

Ms. Wang Yaying was 55 years old. She suffered from many illnesses before practising Dafa and was fully recovered afterwards. She was arrested and sentenced to one year of forced labour for posting banners exposing the persecution. Her family eventually paid bribes amounting to more than 20,000 yuan for her release. Because Ms. Wang refused to give up cultivation, the police often threatened and harassed her at home, forcing her to sign a statement denouncing Dafa. Ms. Wang suddenly died on October 25th, 2006 at home. -
How Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Niu Mengling, 32, Died as a Result of the Persecution
2006-11-30On December 26th, 2004, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Niu Mengling died while trying to escape persecution by police from the National Security Group. After Ms. Niu was killed, the police made up a story saying Ms. Niu committed suicide. The police tried to force her family to sign a paper in order to cover up the truth of Ms. Niu's death. -
Ms. Fu Rufen from Chongqing City Is Again Arrested, Beaten, and Sentenced to Forced Labour
2006-11-3057-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Fu Rufen persisted in practising Falun Gong and being a good person. She was arrested twice after July 20th, 1999, and was imprisoned for 725 days, including once being imprisoned in a labour camp. On September 22nd, 2006, after being arrested again, she was severely beaten and injured by police officer Luo Yonghong, who told her "I'll beat you to death." She is currently being held in Maojiashan Women's Forced Labour Camp. -
Falun Dafa Practitioners Qiu Guisheng and Luo Hongwei from Liuyang City, Hunan Province Receive Severe Sentences; Luo Chunhua Died as a Result of Torture
2006-11-29On July 4th, 2001, Ms. Luo Chunhua was arrested by police officers for distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. She was interrogated continuously through the night and the next day. One of them punched her and knocked her unconscious. Then they pulled her up and punched her in the back. Four months later, she started coughing badly and they found that she was suffering from severe lung perforation. Because Luo Chunhua persisted in her belief in Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, they refused to release her. She passed away at the age of thirty-five. -
The Suffering of 6-Year-Old Wu Rong Ever Since His Birth
2006-11-29Wu Rong, 6 years old, lives with his mother who is a Falun Dafa practitioner. His father Wu Dianhui was also a Falun Dafa practitioner. Wu Dianhui was persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for a long time and passed away on February 11th, 2006. When Wu Rong's father passed away, Wu Rong was only five and a half years old. He witnessed and experienced so much persecution and misfortune in his childhood. -
Three Falun Dafa Practitioners from Guangdong, Hebei, and Hubei Provinces Die as a Result of Persecution
2006-11-29Ms. Pang Xiulan, 61, suffered from diabetes. After cultivating Falun Dafa, all of her illnesses disappeared. She used her personal experiences and her health improvement to validate the miraculous healing effects of Falun Dafa. However, she was sentenced to two years of forced labour. She suffered severe and cruel persecution at the women's forced labour camp and had a relapse of her diabetes. On April 28th, 2006, she died as a result of the persecution. -
Ms. Zhang Yuzhen from Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province Sentenced to Forced Labour After Six Years of Imprisonment
2006-11-29Ms. Zhang Yuzhen, 39, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was sentenced to six years of imprisonment. After she completed her term she was transferred to Jiangxi Women's Forced Labour Camp, where the authorities deployed all kinds of inhuman torture methods to try to force her to give up her practice of Falun Gong. The torture included locking her in a solitary cell, beating her while she was hung up, burning her with cigarettes, exposing her to the scorching sun for long periods of time, typing her up with rope for long periods of time, and keeping her in handcuffs and shackles for long periods. -
Exposing the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in the Guangzhou City Brainwashing Centre
2006-11-29Policemen Lai Jianfeng and Yang Yongcheng directed guards to subject practitioners to various forms of abuse. At first, practitioners were only allowed to sleep for two or three hours a day. They were tied up with their feet crossed, and a rope looped around the neck tied to the rope binding their legs together. Soon the practitioners would feel terrible pain in their lower back, neck, legs, and feet. Screams of pain were frequently heard in the middle of the night. -
Urgent Rescue: New York Resident's Brother Hu Zhiming Is Very Weak After Seven Month Hunger Strike in Jinzhou Prison, Liaoning Province
2006-11-28My younger brother Hu Zhiming is a Falun Dafa practitioner, and he is now detained in the Nanshan Prison in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. Several days ago, my older brother visited him and found that Hu Zhiming was very weak; both of his legs muscles had atrophied due to being unable to move for a long time, and he is in critical condition. Hu Zhiming started his hunger strike after being detained in Haidian District Detention Centre in Beijing in April 2006. He has been on hunger strike continuously for seven months. The Nanshan Prison Administration refuses to release him, and they conduct brutal force-feeding. -
Dr. Shao Hui Tortured to Death Leaving a Young Son Behind, His Wife Mu Ping Arrested Again by Jilin City Police (Photos)

On October 24th, 2006, police from the National Security Team of the Jilin City Police Department arrested practitioner Ms. Mu Ping. Mrs. Mu Ping's husband, Mr. Shao Hui, was a doctor. Because he practised Falun Gong and spoke to people about the facts of Falun Dafa, he was monitored and arrested by police. In August 2002, he was tortured to death. He was only 31 years old. -
Facts about the Persecution and Death of Practitioner Mr. Li Zetao from Chongqing City in 2001
2006-11-28Mr. Li Zetao was arrested in June 2000 after being reported for speaking to people about the facts of Falun Dafa. He was sent to Xishanping Forced Labour Camp. Because Li Zetao publicly resisted the overtime hard labour, requested the right to write a letter to sue because of the persecution, and demanded the right to practise the Falun Gong exercises, he was considered a real thorn in the Camp's side. Guard Du Jun claimed: "(I) wanted to beat him to death a long time ago." he was frequently viciously tortured until finally he died on June 2nd 2001. Mr. Li Zetao was about 24 years old. -
Police Assault an Elderly Couple Protesting Their Son's Arrest
2006-11-28On the night of November 11th, 2006, about eight policemen stopped an older couple that were protesting their son's arrest. The police officers took away a banner (with words of protest) from them. They pushed the elderly lady down on the ground and put the older man into the police vehicle, pulling him just by his hair. They drove away quickly. When the older lady went to the police station to appeal for her husband's release she saw a police officer chasing her husband. Her husband stumbled and the larger policeman tackled him. -
Her Three Daughters Persecuted--One to Death--Ms. Yu Xiulan Dies in Despair and Fear
2006-11-28Ms. Yu Xiulan, 80 years old, lived in Hegang City in Heilongjiang Province. She started practising Falun Gong in 1998. Three of her daughters also practise Falun Gong. Her second daughter, Du Guilan, was persecuted to death in 2004. Her fifth daughter, Du Guijie, has been detained in Harbin Women's Prison. The third daughter, Du Guihua, was arrested and persecuted several times. Even her grandson, who does not practise Falun Gong, was also arrested and tortured. Ms. Yu Xiulan became more fearful with each passing day day. She died in August 2006. -
Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Die Due to Persecution in Liaoning, Gansu, and Jilin Provinces
2006-11-27Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Cao Fengying, 62, lived in Gansu Province. She went to Beijing twice to appeal, was detained twice in the Jinchang City Drug Rehabilitation Centre, and was later transferred to the Jinchang City Detention Centre. She went on hunger strike to protest the persecution. Her family paid two thousands yuan to bail her out, but policemen often came to her door to harass and threaten her. She had been forced to put her fingerprint on a guarantee statement promising to stop Falun Gong practice. She died six months later on January 28th, 2004. -
Practitioners Zhao Fuguang, Zhang Cuijuan and Diao Yuqing Tortured in Wanjia Forced Labour Camp in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province
2006-11-27Ms. Zhao Fuguang was arrested on September 12th. She has been on a hunger strike up ever since. On September 14th, Ms. Zhao was sent to the Wanjia Forced Labour Camp, where she was forced to write the three statements to renounce and denounce Falun Gong. She refused, for which she was cruelly beaten and kicked by prison guards. Then she was tortured with "sitting on an iron chair". In the meantime, she was injected with drugs and was not allowed to go to toilet for long time.
