Five Elderly Dafa Practitioners Passed Away As a Result of Persecution
2006-11-24
Ms. Fu Qingping, 69, lived in Wuhan City and was a steadfast Dafa practitioner. She was imprisoned at the infamous Taojialing Brainwashing Centre many times for distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. After returning home, agents from the local police station and from the residential committee often harassed, threatened, and monitored Ms. Fu over a long period of time. Ms. Fu's two sons are both police officers. They believed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) lies and stopped Ms. Fu from contacting fellow practitioners. Ms. Fu suffered greatly. Her old illnesses returned and she lost the ability to take care of herself. Ms. Fu died on October 19th, 2006. -
Mr. Li Feng is Extremely Weak From Abuse in Hebei Province No. 4 Prison
2006-11-23Mr. Li Feng is a Falun Gong practitioner currently being held in Hebei Province No. 4 Prison. Once Li Feng was in a torture-induced coma for over 12 hours. Another time he displayed symptoms of severe heart trouble (myocardial infarction). He often could not eat anything for days. He is presently emaciated and in extremely poor health. Li Feng has elderly parents in their 70s to take care of. His wife and child are dependent on him as well. -
9-Year-Old Meng Yuan: "I Miss My Parents"
2006-11-23My name is Meng Yuan and I am nine years old. My dad Li Jianbo and my mum Liu Xiuyun were sentenced to prison for practising Falun Dafa. On October 28th, 2005 I returned home from school and waited for mum in front of our apartment. I waited for a long time but mum did not show up, and I started crying. Grandpa, who lives about three miles away came on his bike and said to me, "Your mum was taken away by 610 Office agents." Mr. Lin Mingli in Shanghai Sentenced to Six Years in Prison - His Family Will Appeal
2006-11-23On November 10th, 2006, the Putuo District Court in Shanghai City sentenced Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Lin Mingli to six years in prison. His family immediately appealed the sentence. Mr. Lin Mingli's wife was only allowed to enter the court after requesting several times. The Shanghai City 610 Office planned to severely sentence Mr. Lin Mingli long ago. They failed to find enough proof to sentence Lin Mingli even after a whole year. They read two "personal witnesses" without the people involved present, but Mr. Lin Mingli was still sentenced to six years in prison. -
Twin Teenage Sisters Expelled from School and Persecuted for Seven Years
2006-11-23The Yanji Evening News, which is a local newspaper in Yanji City, Jilin Province, printed an article in May or June 2000 about two young twin sisters giving up going to school because they practise Falun Gong. Many facts were distorted in the article. I personally know the two young sisters well, so I would like to expose the facts. At the same time, I want to expose the terrible crimes of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), so that people will not be deceived. -
Two Practitioners in Jinan, Shandong Province Arrested
2006-11-23Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Li Jianmei and Huang Min were speaking to people about the facts of Falun Dafa in a restaurant, and police officers from the 610 Office found them and arrested Huang Min. Ms. Li condemned their actions, so she was arrested as well. Then police went to their homes in Jinan to perform searches. Huang Min had been tortured in a mental hospital in October 2003. Ms. Li Jianmei had been sent to a forced labour camp twice. -
The Most Evil Dark Dens in Mainland China that Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners
2006-11-22Based on information and materials collected by the Clearwisdom website, we are publishing a partial list of the most evil dark dens in 30 provinces that persecute Dafa practitioners in Mainland China. In Jilin Province alone there are 20 camps that torture and kill practitioners and Heilongjiang Province accounts for 18 jails and forced labour camps that use the most despicable methods to force practitioners to renounce their belief in Falun Dafa. -
Additional Information on the Deaths of Two Falun Gong Practitioners from Jiangxi Province and Tianjin City
2006-11-22Mr. Wang Zengcheng was the deputy director of the Hangu District Science and Technology Commission. During his detention in the Qingbowa Forced Labour Camp, he refused to give up his belief in Falun Dafa. The guards shocked him with five or six electric batons simultaneously until he was near death. Mr. Wang was subsequently severely tortured to death around December 11th, 2003 in the labour camp. -
National Security Agents and 610 Office Members in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province Arrest Practitioners
2006-11-22On February 25th, 2006, the national security agents of Yisuhe Town in Xiangtan County suddenly dispatched over a dozen personnel to practitioner Mr. Liu Heqing's home to confiscate his property. They arrested Mr. Liu, put him into the police vehicle, and sent him to the Xiangtan City Mental Hospital with his feet in shackles. Mr. Liu was injected with drugs that suppress the central nervous system. Afterwards, the doctor discovered that his mental condition was normal, but Mr. Liu was not allowed to be released until after the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) congressional sessions were over. -
What I Know About Jidong Prison in Hebei Province
2006-11-22According to information obtained from imprisoned practitioners, some other practitioners who had been released were told that all middle-aged police agents who were graduates from the police academy know how to get on the Minghui website [Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net]. The prison gave every group quotas requiring a 100% rate of "transformation". Their promotions and pay raises are tied to practitioners' rate of "transformation." Since 2004, some collaborators have been transferred from the Hebei provincial agency to concentrate on doing "transformation" work. They use twisted and vicious theories to try to brainwash the practitioners. -
Jilin City Policemen: No Human Rights for Falun Gong
2006-11-22On October 9th, 2006, police stormed into a shop, confiscated some Falun Dafa books and arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liang Ziying's daughter and her fiance. On the way to the police station, the police were talking about where to go after they received the bonus money from arresting Falun Dafa practitioners. They said to the people they arrested, "We give human rights to even death row prisoners, but not for Falun Gong practitioners!" -
More Information on the Death of Practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhong of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province
2006-11-21On August 10th, 2006, nineteen Dafa practitioners were arrested, detained and persecuted in Nangang Detention Centre by various parties, including officers of the Harbin police. A few days later, one of the detainees, Zhang Zhong, was tortured to the brink of death and later sent to Harbin Police Hospital for further "treatment." He died in October as a result. On receiving the news, Zhang's aged father travelled to Harbin Hospital and requested to see his son's body. However, his request was rejected with the excuse that the hospital would first examine the body and then contact the family. -
The Brutal Persecution of Yu Ming at the Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp, Beijing
2006-11-21Due to long-term torture, practitioner Yu Ming has ulcers all around his mouth, which smell bad. This was the third time Yu Ming had been arrested and detained at the Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp. Later, the prison doctors added large amounts of sleeping pills to Yu Ming's food. This made him sleepy every day. He was tied onto a bed and could not move. He suffered tremendous physical and mental torture and was extremely weak. -
Four Practitioners in Beijing and in the Provinces of Hebei, Shandong, and Hunan Die as the Result of Persecution
2006-11-21After July 20th, 1999, Ms. Xu Jinxia, 45, told people, with her personal story, about how wonderful Falun Dafa is, and she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. She was detained in the Chongwen District Detention Centre. She was constantly harassed upon returning home. She was taken to a brainwashing centre in the summer of 2003 and detained later as well. From the mental and physical torture she went through during multiple detentions, she suffered a nervous breakdown and died on May 1st, 2006. -
74-Year-Old Practitioner Ms. Zhang Ping Arrested by 610 Office in Rizhao City, Shandong Province
2006-11-21Before she started to practise Falun Dafa, 74-year-old Ms. Zhang Ping, suffered from 18 different illnesses, heart disease being the most serious one. After she practised Falun Gong, all 18 illnesses disappeared. She was a kind person, and yet 610 Office officiials arrested her and ransacked her home several times. She and her family suffered tremendously. 30 police officers went to Zhang Ping's home in several police cars. They arrested her when she was going downstairs and dragged her into a police car. When Zhang Ping's granddaughter cried and tried to protect her, the police nearly shoved her to the ground. Zhang Ping shouted, "You're kidnapping me!" The police said in a cold voice, "Yes, that's exactly what we are doing!"
