Reenactment of Torture Methods at the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp -- Part 1 (Photos)

Torture re-enactment: hanging upside-down. The practitioner's legs are pulled through the bottom railing of a bunk bed with his head pointing downward in mid-air. His arms are tied behind his back. As a result of being positioned upside down, the practitioner usually experiences blood rushing to the head, which causes severe swelling of the head. Several minutes later he suffers from shortness of breath and dizzy spells. Guard Wang Xiuju tortured practitioner Zhang Xiuling this way and ordered collaborators to hit her head until her eyes turned black and blue. They even burned her face with a lit piece of paper. -
Practitioner Mr. Xiao Guozhi's Face Disfigured from Beating in Tieling City Labour Camp

On the morning of February 14th, 2006, the Fifth Ward Head brutally beat five detained Falun Dafa practitioners and shock them with electric batons. One of the practitioners, Mr. Xiao Guozhi has been severely injured, and his face is severely disfigured due to the electric baton shocks. His lips are curved outward, and are swollen to one and a half inches thick; the left side of his face is deformed from the swelling, with a 5-inch-long unhealed wound from a baton burn, seeping liquid. His deformed face is a tragic sight to behold. -
Two Elderly Practitioners from Jiaohe, Jilin Province Die as a Result of Persecution
2006-03-19Mr. Qi Laixing, 72 years old, went to Beijing to appeal against the persecution of Falun Dafa. As a result, his property was confiscated and he was sent to a brainwashing centre twice. Later on, he was sent to a forced labour camp for two years. During his imprisonment he suffered from all kinds of cruel torture. He was forced to sit on the cold concrete floor from 6 a.m. in the morning to 10 p.m. in the evening. He was not allowed to sleep. If he were found sleeping, they would put a bug in his ear and or stab him with needles. Police used wooden sticks to beat him until he was bruised all over. Mr. Qi died on February 28th, 2006. -
Supplementary Information on Mr. Zhao Guoan's Death in Henan Province's Third Forced Labour Camp
2006-03-19"I was detained at the Henan Province Third Forced Labour Camp in August 2003 and was subjected to brainwashing along with Mr. Zhao Guoan. Mr. Zhao Guoan refused to write the three statements and instead wrote down "I will firmly persist in cultivating Dafa until the end and die with no regrets." Drug-addict inmate Liu Wei reported this to the camp guards, and the guards beat Mr. Zhao brutally. Mr. Zhao died as a result of the harsh treatment. Afterwards the guards had Chen Guoqing spread the rumour that Zhao Guoan was bailed out for medical treatment." -
Persecution by Heping Police Department in Tianjin City Leaves Ms. Jiang Lili Bedridden and Unable to Care for Herself
2006-03-19In late September 2005, police from the Heping Police Department in Tianjin City destroyed a Falun Gong site site producing leaflets exposing the persecution, arrested practitioner Ms. Jiang Lili and ransacked her house. Ms. Jiang went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution, and she suffered severe harm both physically and mentally from the torture. In a hospital, she was later diagnosed with a brain tumour, but the police from the Heping Police Department refused to release her and continued to persecute her. Ms. Jiang Lili is now bedridden with incontinence. The police extorted a total of several thousand yuan1 from Jiang Lili's various family members. -
Sujiatun, No Longer Just a Name (Photos)
2006-03-18On March 8th, 2006, a former CCP agent revealed that there is a secret concentration camp located in the Sujiatun District of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province that specially detains Falun Dafa practitioners, tortures them, harvests their organs when they are still alive, sells the organs for huge profits, and cremates the bodies to destroy evidence. Based on confirmed reports by the Minghui website, in 2001, a man (non-practitioner) that used to be detained in the Drug-rehabilitation Centre in Guangzhou City revealed that he witnessed several drug addict prisoners beating a Falun Dafa practitioner. The centre's doctor that was standing nearby said, "Don't hit him in the kidney. The kidneys are very useful." -
The Death of Pilot Liu Ping at the Shuangkou Forced Labour Camp
2006-03-18Dafa practitioner Liu Ping was from Tianjin City. He was a pilot with a good income, a beautiful family, and excellent health. After the persecution of Falun Dafa began, Liu Ping was arrested and taken to Shuangkou Labour Camp where he was tortured to death. He died on January 1st, 2002. The Labour Camp warden asked a gang of inmates, "Do any of you have relatives that work in hospitals? If you can come up with a certificate showing that this person died in the hospital, I will terminate your imprisonment here and free you immediately." Sure enough, one of the convict's mother worked in a hospital, and a fake death certificate was obtained very quickly; thus the criminal was discharged from the prison. -
Elderly Couple Whose Son Was Tortured to Death Appeal for Release of Daugher-in-law from Prison
2006-03-18Mr. Yang Xiaojie was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. He was detained in the Fourth Prison of Hebei Prison. On December 28th, 2005, after numerous requests from his family, the prison authorities, along with the Hebei Province Prison Administrative Bureau, finally released him, but by that time he was on the verge of death. When he was rushed to a hospital for emergency treatment, the doctor said: "Why did you bring him here when he is already in such a state? It's too late!" On January 26th, 2006, Yang Xiaojie died as a result of the torture he suffered in the prison. -
A Village Woman's Suffering
2006-03-18Zhang Jimei, 32, has been persecuted mercilessly since 1999. On December 10th, 2004, when Zhang Jimei distributed leaflets exposing the persecution she was reported to the police. The head of the village, detained her in the village office. When the police arrived, they took turns beating her, holding her hair and the corner of her trousers, and then throwing her to the ground from one metre high. Later several police came and kicked, slapped and beat her with their fists. Her mouth and nose kept bleeding, and her clothes were covered with blood. Much of her hair was pulled out. Police held her neck, which made her unable to breath. -
Elderly Ms. Zhu Dafeng Beaten to Death by Police in Wuhan City
2006-03-17At the end of February 2006, several Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials ransacked 60-year-old Ms. Zhu Dafeng's home and confiscated several Falun Dafa books. The next day her husband called the police station to report her. Soon, a group of policemen arrived. They carried Ms. Zhu downstairs and threw her into the police vehicle. Ms. Zhu was beaten unconscious in the vehicle. She was directly sent to the Armed Police Hospital for emergency rescue. Her body was totally covered with bruises from her lower back down to her thighs. Her blood pressure was abnormal, and she died five days later. -
Mr. Wu Dianhui Died from Tuberculosis Due to Abuse During Persecution
2006-03-17Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wu Diahui, 34, was a young lecturer employed by the Changzhou City Normal College in Jiangsu Province. He was persecuted by being locked in a mental hospital, a tuberculosis hospital and a labour camp by his employer and city police. He was tortured with electric baton shocks, deprived of sleep for over one week, beaten by prisoners, locked in a small cell and brutally force-fed, among other abuse. This severely damaged his health, and he died of tuberculosis on February 11th, 2006. -
Account of the Brutal Persecution I Suffered at the Hands of Officials at the Jilin Custodial Station
2006-03-17"My name is Li Cuiling. I went to visit a Falun Dafa practitioner and the police were in her home. They arrested us both. They sent us to the Jilin Custodial Station. During the three days I was detained there, I didn't eat or drink. I adopted the hunger strike method to show my protest. They force-fed me. Force-feeding is a very cruel torture method. I struggled very hard. The prison doctor, who wore leather shoes, kicked my face. They poured a thick saline water and corn flour solution down the tube. I felt nauseous and suffocated, and I vomited. They use this torture method to try to force Dafa students to give up their belief in Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." -
Three Practitioners in Hebei, Beijing, and Jilin Provinces Passed Away as a Result of the Persecution
2006-03-17Ms. Guo Fengxia, 36 years old, distributed materials exposing the persecution in April 2003. She was "illegally arrested" and sentenced to a year in a forced labour camp. Her family tried to rescue her but were swindled out of 30,000 yuan by the CCP. They didn't release Ms. Guo until her one-year forced labour camp sentence was over. Police guards would throw poisonous snakes on female practitioners. Once released Ms. Guo was still harassed and threatened by the local police. Her family did not allow her to practise Falun Dafa. Ms. Guo suffered greatly in both body and mind. As a result, she passed away on February 19th, 2006. -

2006-03-16"They forced me to work, also a form of physical and emotional punishment. It is customary in Chinese prisons for the inmates to be subjected to forced labour. Detainees have to obey unconditionally, as refusal to obey would lead to immediate severe punishment. At first they didn't make me work because they wanted to make me give up my belief in Falun Gong by forcing me to attend brainwashing sessions. Later they saw that I was not going to give up my belief, so they tried to make me admit guilt and work along with the inmates. They said that all capable criminals must work. I didn't acknowledge the label "criminal," so I refused to work. They made me stand. If I moved they kicked me and verbally attacked and humiliated me in front of everyone." -
70-Year-Old Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Hao Fukui's Life in Danger--Detention Centre in Dalian Still Refuses to Release Him
2006-03-1670-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Hao Fukui was arrested by about 20 to 30 officers from the Public Security Department and the 610 Office. He has been detained in a local detention centre, in violation of the Chinese constitution. He has suffered persecution for nine months and his life is now in danger. A previously healthy 70-year-old man has been detained and abused simply because he practises Falun Gong and believes in the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He was taken to hospital on February 27th, 2006 for emergency treatment. Even under such circumstances, the detention centre still refuses to release him.
