Peeling Off the Hypocritical Mask of the Hebei Province Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp

The Hebei Province Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp is advertised as a civilised place, but actually, it is an evil den where Falun Gong practitioners are brutally persecuted. Besides brainwashing practitioners, the labour camp also uses them as cheap labour. Practitioners are forced to work every day to make money for the labour camp. In the middle of June 2005, Zhang Chunlan was sent to a carpet factory to work despite feeling ill. She was poisoned by rubber fumes and became very ill. Guard Wei Hongli dragged her downstairs to force her to work. She was released only after she fainted and fell to the floor. -
Details of the Activities of a Brainwashing Centre in Sichuan Province (Photo)
2005-11-17In June 2005, officials from the 610 Office in Guang'an City, Sichuan Province set up another brainwashing centre. On two separate occasions, practitioner Ms. Wang Shiying has been beaten, forced to stand alone in the corner near the door, and punished with food deprivation. In an attempt to force Ms. Wang to abandon Falun Gong, eight men beat her, kicked her in the abdomen and private parts, and viciously whipped her head and back with a leather belt until the belt broke. After they tortured her in this way, they sent Ms. Wang to the Guang'an Mental Hospital for further persecution. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner's Family Member Dies Due to the Terror of the Persecution
2005-11-17Mr. Gao Shijie's wife, son, and daughter-in-law all started practising Falun Dafa in 1994. His family life became very peaceful, and that benefited Mr. Gao Shijie a great deal, even though he himself didn't practise. After the persecution began on July 20th, 1999, Mr. Gao lived under huge pressure and terror. He was forced by the authorities to pay illegal fines, and was pressured to make sure his family members stopped practising Falun Dafa. He said he trembled every time he heard the doorbell or the phone ring. Under the terror of the persecution, Mr. Gao Shijie died on August 2nd, 2005. -
Ms. Qi Miaozhi from Henan Province Passed Away under Persecution
2005-11-17Ms. Qi Mioazhi was very firm in her cultivation. After July 20th, 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa, but was arrested and taken back by the police. Guangmao Village Head led a group of village heads to take turns beating her. She was tied up and displayed on a truck bed, which drove around the village to publicly humiliate her. She was also sentenced to two years of forced labour. While detained in Shibalihe Labour Camp in Zhengzhou City, she endured all sorts of torture. Ms. Qi Miaozhi died between February and March of 2004. -
Ms. Li Yangfang Tortured to Death at Zizhong Labour Camp in Sichuan Province

53-year-old Ms. Li Yangfang was tortured to the point until she was as thin as skin and bones, and her belly and legs were very bloated. It was like she was 8-9 months pregnant. Her legs ejected fluid. She could not stand up, eat, or drink. None of the hospital staff agreed to treat her because she was dying. Ms. Li Yangfang died on October 18th, 2005 after she went through a huge amount of suffering. -
Mr. and Mrs. Su, Retired Employees from Handan City Transportation Bureau, Die as a Result of Persecution
2005-11-16Mr. Su and Mrs. Su went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa on April 25th, 1999. Afterwards they were both persecuted severely. Mr Su suffered severely under the persecution and became so weak that he had difficulty managing himself. The police were afraid to be held responsible for his death so they sent him home. They could not live in peace. Mr. Su died on October 10th, 2003. However, the authorities did not leave his wife alone when she was in anguish. Mrs. Su also died as a result of the persecution. -
Supplementary Information on the Case of Practitioner Yuan Shengjun, Beaten to Death by Police

Police dragged Mr. Yuan Shengjun to the crematory and beat him to death on the way. According to those who know, Mr. Yuan Shengjun's eyes did not close even two days after his death, with his mouth wide open. One hand, arm and fingernails were totally black, his back was totally black and blue, and one of his legs was greenish purple. The police forced officials in Nantao Village to sign a death certificate even before Mr. Yuan Shengjun died. -
CCP Propaganda Leads to Another Family Tragedy - Nie Tiemei is Abused by Her Husband's Family
2005-11-16So-called "psychiatric treatment" is one of the various torture methods that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) uses on Falun Gong practitioners. Deceived by years of CCP propaganda Li Guangxiong contrived to demonize Falun Gong and he sent his wife Nie Tiemei to a psychiatric hospital three times, where she was mentally tormented and physically tortured. She was in extreme misery and under extreme pressure, and she eventually suffered a mental collapse. Later she was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution. To date, she still feels numb all over her body. She cannot keep her balance while walking and has lost her memory. -
A Non-Practitioner Unjustly Detained On the Grounds of Helping Falun Gong Practitioners Distribute Leaflets Exposing the Persecution
2005-11-15Towards the end of April this year, Mr Yang Fengwen, a non-practitioner, helped Falun Gong practitioners distribute leaflets exposing the persecution. Police arrested him and took him away. The County Police Station, the County Court, and the County Procuratorate all got involved. Together, they held Yang at the No. 2 County Detention Centre for over five months. After that, Yang was transferred to a brainwashing centre in the township and still remains there. -
Recent Round of Persecution of Practitioners in Changde City, Hunan Province
2005-11-15Dafa practitioners Ms. Huang Guihua and Mr. Xu Shanqin were arrested in August when the 610 Office intensified their persecution. Huang Guihua is 50 years old. Her husband died long ago, leaving their son and her depending on each other for survival. Her son was in Guangzhou doing some odd jobs. After finding out about the arrest of his mother, he came home twice to visit her in detention and shed a lot of tears. Seeing his mother incarcerated made him feel that his future was uncertain. It is said that he is giving up on life. Both mother and son were not at home, but policemen broke in their house without permission. -
Ms. Zhao Yuping, In Her 70s, from Hunan Province Died as a Result of Torture in 2003
2005-11-15Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhao Yuping was in her 70s. Ms. Zhao started practising Falun Dafa in 1997. After one year, the sicknesses she used to have all over her body had all disappeared. She went to Beijing, was arrested, body searched, and her head and lower back were injured from a brutal beating by police. On January 18th, 2001, police ransacked her home and took her to a brainwashing centre. She was persecuted ever since then, which severely damaged her mind and body. She died on April 24th 2003 after vomiting lots of blood. -
China Network Communications' Branch in Dalian City Unreasonably Fires Falun Dafa Practitioners
2005-11-15In September 2004, the management department of China Network Communications (CNC)'s branch in Dalian City fired Mr. Zhang Guoyu and his spouse Ms. Shen Lian because they practise Falun Gong. The company breached their contract and deducted two years worth of Ms. Shen Lian's salary. Both husband and wife lost their jobs, and they have not received any salary for over a year, causing them tremendous financial difficulties. In January of 2005, a lawsuit against CNC's branch in Dalian City was filed at the Gaoxinyuan Labour Court. However, the court turned a blind eye to the facts presented by Mr. Zhang and his wife and ruled in favour of CNC. -
Mr. Chen Jiansheng Tortured to Death at the Zaozihe Forced Labour Camp
2005-11-14After the persecution of Falun Dafa began on July 20th, 1999, Mr. Chen was arrested and detained in brainwashing centres many times because he refused to give up his belief in Dafa. On December 23rd, 2004, he was arrested while distributing leaflets exposing the persecution in a crowded shopping area. The police ransacked his home and took away his computer and other valuable items. Mr. Chen was sentenced to 18 months in the notorious Shaanxi Province Zaozihe Labour Camp. Chen Jiansheng was tortured to death on October 11th, 2005. -
An Urgent Appeal to Rescue Qiao Zhongjin, a Dafa Practitioner from Chaoyang City
2005-11-14Mr. Qiao Zhongjin has been in Jinzhou Prison suffering for a long time. He has been subjected to brainwashing classes and physical torture. In addition, he is forced to perform forced labour for long hours each day. The numerous tortures that Mr. Qiao has endured have steadily deteriorated his physical condition. Now he has severe tuberculosis pleurisy, which causes his chest to retain water, making it very difficult to breathe. His face has become swollen. It takes Mr. Qiao tremendous effort just to walk. His weight has dropped from 198 pounds to 110 pounds. Qiao Zhongjin's life is currently in danger. -
Exposing the Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners in Guangdong Province
2005-11-14The Sanshui Brainwashing Centre in Guangdong Province is a provincial brainwashing centre. The usual session is three months, and practitioners who refuse to "reform" after three months are held for another three months until they give up their beliefs. Some practitioners have been held there for several years. Practitioner Xia Xianqiang from Mei County was first held at the Sanshui Forced Labour Camp and then sent to the Sanshui Brainwashing Centre where he held a hunger strike in protest and was force-fed. Practitioner Wen Fenhua from Jieyang was tortured at the brainwashing centre and released when she was at the brink of death.
