Patients are "Purchased" and Enslaved for Profit at Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp

Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp enslaves Falun Dafa practitioners and others serving terms as patients in the forced labour camp in order to make more profit. Practitioners are also tortured there. Policeman Li Xuejun, who is in his 30s, was a supervisor at the camp. He persecuted Falun Gong with much enthusiasm, and was therefore promoted to division head. For his own financial benefit, he resorted to all means to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. As division head, he profited by frequently "buying" patients who were scheduled for release, or whose terms were cancelled due to illness, to enslave them and count them as additional labourers. -

2005-10-14"I was arrested in 2003 after informants reported me to the police. I was injected with drugs that damaged my central nervous system. Suddenly I started losing my memory, and I could not move my arms, legs, hands or feet. I could not even recall what my child looked like. My whole body was paralysed, and I could not see anything clearly. My sister was sent to a forced labour camp twice since 1999, spending over five years there. She has also suffered all kinds of inhumane torture in the labour camp simply for refusing to give up her belief in Falun Dafa. She can also not take care of her own daily needs, and remains in a very weakened condition." -
Ms Wang Chenglin - Is She Alive or Have the Jinan Prison Officials Tortured Her to Death?
2005-10-14Qingdao Dafa Practitioner Ms Wang Chenglin is currently imprisoned in Jinan Prison, Shandong Province. For the past six months, the prison has prohibited her family members from visiting her, and they are uncertain as to whether or not she is still alive. In early August, the prison staff notified Wang's family members that she was on a hunger strike, and that she had already shown signs of a mental collapse, as she sometimes babbled randomly. Even so, they still prohibited Wang's family members from visiting her. According to other sources, Wang Chenglin is either dead or on the brink of death. -
More Details On the Deaths of Ms. Zhang Wenjun from Chongqing City and Mr. Ma Jianshe from Xinji City
2005-10-14In 2004, police arrested 69-year-old Zhang Wenjun and sent her to a forced labour camp for two years. Her pension was unreasonably suspended. Then she was detained in prison for over a year. She suffered from hunger and cold and had oedema before she passed away in August 2005. Mr. Ma Jianshe walked to Beijing to tell people the facts of Falun Dafa and suffered severe beatings and abuse. His home was also ransacked, and he was forced to pay a fine and put into prison. In 2003, he was arrested again and sent to a brainwashing centre. After returning home, he was harassed and intimidated several times by police. He became ill in 2004 and passed away in June 2005. -

Ms Sun Yan refused to give up Falun Gong so Dalian City Forced Labour Camp Group head took her to a solitary confinement cell and tortured her with the "Death Bed". Guards stretched her arms and legs to cause excruciating pain. They inserted hot pepper into her vagina and scrubbed her genitals with a shoe brush until she lost consciousness. -
Information Regarding Mr. Fan Dacheng's Death from Torture in Xinjiang Autonomous Region
2005-10-13Since the persecution against Falun Dafa began, the staff from his workplace persecuted practitioner Mr. Fan Dacheng and he did not received even a single yuan of his salary. Mr. Fan was unlawfully sentenced to two years in a labour camp, served from March 2001 to March 2003. During that time, Mr. Fan was tortured by inhumane means. In April 2004, Mr. Fan was unlawfully sentenced to three years simply for displaying a "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" banner and tortured to the brink of death. By the time the authorities released him he had lost the ability to eat. Fan Dacheng passed away on September 13, 2004. -
Li Xiaomei, Falun Gong Practitioner from Guangxi Province, Died from Long-Term Persecution
2005-10-1348-year-old Ms. Li Xiaomei suffered persecution repeatedly and incarcerated in brainwashing and detention centres. As a result, she was devastated both mentally and physically. While she was still in prison, her health was poor. After returning home, her health deteriorated further, and she was too weak to take care of herself. She passed away on April 10th 2005. -
A Practitioner Describes Her 6 Years of Persecution
2005-10-13"Police officer Zhang Guisheng of the Keyuan Street Police Station arrived at the detention centre, where I was held. He cursed us fiercely and ordered the use of more violence and torture during the brainwashing sessions. Police officer Liu Feng asked me, "Do you choose Falun Gong or your family?" I said, "Practising Falun Gong does not conflict with my family." He jumped up saying, "No! You can choose only one!" I was totally confused. Who gave him the right to force me to make such a choice? Police officers forced citizens to get divorced and involved their family members as a means to threaten us. Such mental abuses are illegal." -
Dafa Practitioner Ms Wang Kaiping from Chongqing was Persecuted to Death
2005-10-1258-year-old Wang Kaiping was taken to the Li Ziba Detention Centre by local officials. She was sentenced to a forced labour camp because she had hung scrolls and distributed leaflets exposing the persecution. Wang Kaiping was tortured so severely that she became emaciated and vomited blood. In June 2005 she was released on medical grounds through her family. After she returned home she could not stop vomiting blood. After examination at hospital she was diagnosed with leukaemia. She passed away in the hospital during the night of August 21st 2005. -
Mother Persecuted to Death, Father Jailed, Son Ran Away in Desperation
2005-10-12Ms Geng Cuifang, a Dafa practitioner from Lanzhou City, was persecuted to death on June 13th 2002. After two months, her husband, practitioner Su Anzhou, was wrongfully sentenced to prison for 20 years. Geng Cuifang's son was less than 18 years old at that time. His mother had just died as a result of the police's actions, and his father was jailed. Losing his parents and source of livelihood, the boy ran away in desperation. Relatives and friends have sought his whereabouts since that time but do not know where he is currently. -
Six Older Practitioners Who Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-10-1267-year-old Mr. Liu Yuting was arrested by the local authorities and sent to a detention centre. In the detention centre, he was punished by being forced to stand against the wall and given very bad food. With so many inmates in the jail, he had to sleep on the floor. His diabetes he had prior to practising relapsed because of the bad conditions in the jail. The jail had to release him but they did that only after extorting 5,000 yuan from his family. After he came out, Mr. Liu learned that his pension card had been taken away by his former workplace and his daughter had been sent to a labour camp. During this period, the authorities also went to his home to harass him. Under such tremendous pressure, the elderly practitioner died on March 30th 2002. -
Practitioner Ms. Zhu Chengying from Sichuan Province Has Been Unjustly Sentenced to Ten Years
2005-10-12On August 26th 2005, the Jinjiang District Police Station in Chengdu City, the Jinjiang District Procuratorate, the Jinjiang District Court, and the State Security Brigade from the Leshan City Police Station arrested 54-year-old Ms. Zhu Chengying from her home. On September 15th she was sentenced to ten years in prison without a fair trial and is now being held at the Chengdu City Detention Centre. What was her crime? She told the facts of Falun Dafa to the authorities and to others who had been misled by the government propaganda and so was considered a criminal. -

37-year-old teacher Ms Sun Yan benefited physically and mentally from practising Falun Gong. She was arrested and persecuted several times for believing in Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. Her workplace sent her to a brainwashing class, even though the company had awarded her the title "Model Young Worker". In November 2001 she was sent to Dalian Forced Labour Camp and was savagely tortured. -
Intensified Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners at Jinzhou City Forced Labour Camp
2005-10-11A relative recently went to visit Qi Mingli, but was not allowed to see him. This relative tried to tell the truth of Falun Gong to the police at the labour camp. Li Fenglin, who is in charge of persecuting Falun Gong, said, "If you keep talking, I will put you in the labour camp too." After asking the police on several occasions to see Mingli, his family members were finally able to see him. They saw that Qi Mingli's legs were paralysed, as he walked only with heavy support from others. This is the real reason why the forced labour camp doesn't want people to visit him. They are afraid of their crimes being exposed. -
Practitioners' Family Members Expose the Underhanded Dealings of a Detention Centre Shop in Harbin
2005-10-11Family members came to the shop to learn news about the practitioners being held there. The shop's prices are extremely high. A box of instant noodles costs 20 yuan at a regular shop but is marked 60 yuan there. Some items are 50 percent more expensive than regular prices and some are twice as much as the regular price. Some family members asked the clerks if their family members were still detained here. The clerks told them, "Yes," so the families bought several things and asked the clerks to send them in. But when the clerks came back, they did not give the family members any receipts. When the family asked for the receipts, the clerks said that the practitioners had been transferred.
