Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Yang Yajuan Dies Due to Persecution

36-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yang Yajuan, was from Heilongjiang Province. Township CCP Director Mr Liu Guoping hired local villains who tortured her using freezing, beating, and insults, etc. During the past several years of constant harassment and threats, her physical condition worsened. In December 2004, Ms. Yang Yajuan's husband (also a practitioner) was reported to the police, and arrested. This caused Ms. Yang's physical condition to become very severe. She became thinner and thinner, and died on April 19, 2005. -
Dafa Practitioner Xu Jishan Persecuted to Death in Daqing Prison

On June 7, 2005, prison officials ordered prisoners to strip off Mr. Xu Jishan's clothes, tie him to a bed, and spray him with cold water from a highly pressurized water pipe. They sprayed so much water that he had trouble breathing. An hour later, Mr. Xu's lungs were filled with water. By the time he was sent to the hospital, he was already dead. -
More than Ten Dafa Practitioners from Hefei, Anhui Province Were Arrested and Persecuted - Some of Their Lives Are in Danger
2005-07-15According to the reports that we have received so far, many practitioners have said that in the closed brainwashing sessions the police beat, cursed and threatened them, and deprived them of sleep. The police also isolated them from the outside world, not permitting anyone to visit. They use all kinds of torture methods to persecute them. For over ten days, more than 10 Dafa practitioners have been protesting their treatment by conducting a hunger strike. In response to this protest the police have started to torture them by force-feeding them. -
The Persecution of Ms. Ta Yueping
2005-07-15Ms. Ta Yueping, who is in her 40s, was honest and friendly to everyone, so her boss really respected her. Her boss trusted her very much, allowing her to manage the store key and money. Through firmly believing in Falun Dafa and seeing the maliciousness of the evil persecution, she did all that she could to tell people the truth about Falun Dafa and expose the Chinese Communist Party's deception. 610 Office personnel and policemen continuously threatened and bothered Yueping. They pressured her boss and threatened her family members, giving Yueping much stress. Policemen abducted Yueping three times, taking her to brainwashing classes to persecute her. In addition, 610 Office personnel persecuted Yueping's family members by freezing bank accounts, tapping phone lines, and sending spies. In this scheme of total persecution, Yueping's husband was even forced to divorce her. In April of 2004, Yueping was arrested again. The police fabricated a crime and sentenced her to 10 years in prison. She is currently detained at the Guangzhou Women's Prison. -
Falun Gong Practitioners Subjected to Injections of Nerve-Damaging Drugs
2005-07-14Injecting unknown drugs into practitioners is one of the base means that the Communist Party has adopted to persecute Falun Gong practitioners so as to force them to give up practising Falun Dafa. One practitioner who was injected with such drugs described the experience this way: "After I woke up, I felt inescapable and indescribable fear. Every face I saw was distorted and looked like a ghost. I felt that I was in hell and my body was alternately hot and cold. I was tormented like a lab rat. When I heard the mewing of a cat outside, I thought that the cat would immediately become as large as a tiger and would be released inside the cell to tear me apart. Even the marks on the walls looked like they were snakes or poisonous insects that jumped off the walls. The dark purple marks on the floor looked like blood trails left by those who had died there. Every pore of my body gave off the terrible smell of the drug." -
The Persecution of Dafa Practitioners at Shijiazhuang No. 2 Prison
2005-07-14Many Falun Dafa practitioners are being illegally imprisoned at Shijiazhuang No. 2 Prison. The environment there is bad. Practitioners are being closely monitored and controlled. Because the perpetrators are afraid of being exposed, physical tortures are no longer being applied openly. However, the psychological persecution has been intensified. -
Dafa Practitioner Ms Zhang Shukun Arrested and Tortured at Police Station in Liaoning Province

Local police arrested Ms. Zhang Shukun from the Economic and Technological Development District in mid-May. Ms. Shukun encountered brutal tortures at the police station. One such torture was that she was handcuffed behind the back in the "carrying a sword on the back" position: one hand was pulled over the shoulder and another hand came up from behind her back. The pain was unbearable. -
Fourteen Falun Dafa Practitioners Who Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-07-1453-year-old Ms. Xin Huiming was diagnosed with "pulmonary artery embolism". Ms. Xin then started to practise Falun Dafa, after which her condition gradually improved and she could take care of herself. One year later, she completely recovered from the disease. After July 20, 1999, Ms. Xin went to many government offices at different levels to tell people the truth about Falun Dafa with her own experience. The local township police and 610 Office arrested her and sent her to the county detention centre where she was tortured using various instruments such as high-voltage electric shocking devices. In 2000, Ms. Xin died as a result of the torture. -
June 2005: Deaths of 230 Falun Gong Practitioners Verified (Photos)
2005-07-13In June 2005, the persecution deaths of 230 Falun Gong practitioners in China were verified. Since Jiang' Zemins regime began persecuting Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, a total of 2,656 practitioners have been tortured to death and their deaths have been verified through civil channels. Of the 230 torture deaths verified in June, 59 took place between January and May 2005, and 15 took place in June 2005. Sixty two percent of the practitioners tortured to death were women, and sixty three percent were over the age of 55. Additionally, according to preliminary statistics from the Minghui/Clearwisdom website, at least 271 practitioners died under the persecution between January and June 2005, and among them, 230 death cases were verified. -
Grandmother Geng's Family: Three Die From Persecution, Three Others Detained
2005-07-13Grandmother Geng was well known in her neighbourhood as a kind-hearted person. Because she and her children practised Falun Gong and believed in its principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, the Chinese Communist Party has severely persecuted them during the past five years. One of them has been detained in a forced labour camp for a long time. Within the first 35 days of this year, Grandmother Geng and two of her family members were persecuted to death in succession. Less than a hundred days later, another two of her family members were jailed by local officials and the police. -
The Experience of a Falun Dafa Practitioner Who Was Tortured with Drugs in a Mental Hospital
2005-07-13"This is a small portion of the suffering I've experienced over the past five years. I was arrested and held at a mental hospital for more than 30 days. During that period of time I suffered a mental collapse as a result of the drugs they administered, and lost the ability to control myself. I was physically injured and mentally affected. Practitioner Mr An Senbiao Suffers Kidney Failure in Forced Labour Camp - His Wife's Appeal Letter
2005-07-13An Senbiao was first imprisoned in the Daqing City Longfeng Detention Centre. Wearing foot shackles, he was held in a small cell to be persecuted for more than a month. He was moved to the Daqing Forced Labour Camp at the beginning of March. An Senbiao started a hunger strike to protest his illegal imprisonment. He was punitively force fed twice a day, which seriously damaged him physically. On March 15, An Senbiao was then sent to the Suihua Forced Labour Camp, where his mistreatment was intensified. Now he is emaciated. He is unable to move even a little bit while lying on a bed, and he has experienced kidney failure. -
Ms. Jiang Meilan from Hunan Province Has Been Persecuted to the Brink of Death in Zhuzhou City's Baimacheng Forced Labour Camp
2005-07-12On March 24, 2005, Ms. Jiang Meilan was abducted by police. She was sentenced to one year of forced labour and was sent to Baimacheng Forced Labour Camp. She has been on a hunger strike ever since she was abducted in March, more than three months. She has received injections and been force-fed in the Baimacheng Forced Labour Camp. She is now very weak and cannot walk by herself. She can only walk with the assistance of two inmates, who have been assigned as monitors. Right now, Ms. Jiang Meilan is on the verge of death. -
Brutal Persecution in Guangzhou's Tianhe District Detention Centre
2005-07-12Since the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, all cells in Tianhe Detention Centre have been equipped with surveillance devices to monitor the inmates. Each cell, which should only house a maximum of 16 people, now holds over 30. The sanitary conditions inside are horrible. The inmates are forced to work 13-14 hours daily. Practitioners are subjected to extreme physical abuse. For instance, shackled practitioners are also chained to a fixed iron ring on the floor. Their hands are placed on the sides of their legs and handcuffed under their legs. No matter how one positions oneself, one has to lower the back at a sharp angle. -
Details on How Mr. Zhang Zhagen Died in the Kaifeng City Forced Labour Camp
2005-07-12Mr. Zhang Zhagen was a fifty-two-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner. On April 7, the authorities sentenced him to two years of forced labour in Kaifeng Forced Labour Camp. Mr. Zhang refused to follow the authority's order to denounce Falun Dafa. As a result, they tortured him with various means. Mr. Zhang was declared dead on the morning of June 28, 2005. Medical analysis indicates the following facts: 1) Zhang Zhagen apparently suffered severe suffocation at the labour camp and the best chance to save his life was missed; 2) his brain and internal organs had suffered severe damage; 3) Zhang Zhagen was injected with unknown medicines;
