She vomited a large quantity of blood. On June 20, 2001, Ms Tao Juhua was moved to the 8th Squad. She refused to call out her "number." Squad Director Li Jun ordered collaborators to handcuff her behind the back to the iron bars of the window of the confinement cell, with a quilt stuffed between her arms on her back to cause further pain. -

2003-07-14Guard Tian Shuling from No. 4 Division carried out brutal and callous torture on her. She was forcibly dragged to the workshop to do manual labour. As she refused to cooperate, her bottom and feet were dragged along the ground and injured. There were bloodstains all the way to the workshop. She was cuffed and hung up, electrically shocked and brutally beaten. She was also frequently put into isolation. The police took turns to continuously attempt to brainwash her. -
Secret Order to Persecute Falun Gong
2003-07-13It was reported that the higher levels received the secret order via e-mail from the top that stated, "delete after reading". Then they relayed the order verbally down the chain of command. When the secret order came to the working troops, it was said that, "Previously we were busy dealing with SARS, now we have time so we should take care to punish Falun Gong." Another implication of the order was, "No need to follow any laws in dealing with Falun Gong." Actually Jiang and his associates have never cared about any law in their persecution of Dafa and practitioners. -
7 Year Old Practitioner Ruthlessly Beaten by Tiananmen Square Police
2003-07-12On July 20, my son and I went to Tiananmen Square, to say, "Falun Dafa is good!" to the public. We were arrested and pushed into a vehicle by some plainclothes police officers. My son was seven years old at the time. In the vehicle, the police violently twisted my son's hands and ears, and did not let go even though he was crying loudly from the pain. I also was badly beaten by the police. The police struck me in the ears, bruising and causing swelling to my face and ears. -
Dafa Practitioners Tortured and Hung Up for Days In Minxi Prison
2003-07-11In the afternoon of the 22nd, under instructions from the prison vice-chief Luo Yingjie, the supervisor of the new prisoners Deng Yunchun and supervisor Xu Shangsheng ordered prisoner helpers Wu Jianghai and Wang Xiaodong to cuff the four Falun Gong practitioners, including Chen Ridong, to the second floor window, suspending them in the air. Chen Ridong was hung up for over thirty hours. He was not let down until he passed out on the second day. -

This year, owing to rampant SARS, the Forced Labour Camp existed in a shutdown form. Family members were only allowed to send money and clothes once a month, making it harder to know the details inside the Camp. -

2003-07-07They tied our hands and feet and held us down on the freezing ground for three hours. At 10:15 PM we were allowed to go back to our dorms. At that time, the policeman Wang laughed wildly and said, "If you are not ill tomorrow, I will respect Falun Gong." As a matter of fact, we were all right the following day. In the early morning, the police officers used the same means to torture us. They ordered us to stand on the concrete ground with bare feet and then sprayed cold water on our feet. They also used scotch tape to seal our mouths. -
Despicable Means of Persecution of Female Dafa Practitioner by Shijiazhuang Railway's Public Security Sub-bureau
2003-07-07They sent secret agents to stay in the hospital to attempt to seize practitioners who came to visit. At this time, Yan Guangliang attempted to disguise himself and went to the hospital, but he was caught by the guards Qiao Xiaoxia and others from the Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp who also wanted a promotion. Even though Yan Guangliang was shouting: "You got the wrong one. I am not a Falun Gong practitioner!", the guards still seized him and brought him to the local police station. 2003-07-06The jail guards gathered around 40-50 people and rushed into practitioners' cells with electric batons and ropes. They beat up practitioners and removed Gong Chengge, Jiang Hongfu, Shi Zhenwei and Zhao Bing from their cells and beat them even more ferociously. 2003-07-05There was blood and wounds all over their bodies. One of Li Min's ribs was broken, and he could not move or sleep for many days afterward. When Li recovered a little, the guards ordered the inmates to watch him and allow him to sleep only three hours every day, that is, from 12:00 am to 3:00 am. By 3:00 am, Li was forced to sit on the floor. He was also forced to do hard labour. -
A Concealed Crime: Investigation Report on the Vicious Rape and Persecution of a 28-Year-Old Graduate Student by police
2003-07-04On the evening of May 13, in a room at the detention centre, the police ordered two female inmates to strip off all of Wei's clothes. She cried out, "You have no right to treat me this way!" Then, a uniformed policeman entered, pushed Wei to the ground and raped her in front of the two other inmates. Wei Xingyan sternly warned the policeman, "I have noted your police badge number. You won't get away with this." After the assault, Wei started a hunger strike to protest. The police conducted force-feedings, injuring her trachea and oesophagus, which left her unable to speak.
