Three Falun Dafa Practitioners from Chongqing, Tianjin, and Heilongjiang Died as a Result of Persecution

Ms. Gao Yunling, a retired employee of the Chongqing Oil Transport Warehouse, began to practise Falun Dafa in 1996. As a result of the practice, all her illnesses disappeared without medical treatment. In October 2005, the local community committee put her under surveillance twenty-four hours a day. She was forced to write the so-called three statements, which brought her huge detriment mentally. She died on February 13th, 2006. -
A Teacher Is Sent to Trial After Explaining the True Situation of Falun Dafa in Class
2006-06-27Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Lu Chihua is a teacher. On March 13th, 2006, he was arrested by police from the County Department, and is now detained in Long'an County Detention Centre. Mr. Lu's family hired a lawyer, but the police will not allow the lawyer visit him, and they have been interfering with the lawyer's work. -
Ms. Wu Hong Tortured to Death in Penglai City, Shandong Province
2006-06-26On May 30th, 2006, Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wu Hong was arrested in her home and locked up in a "Legal Eduction Centre (a brainwashing centre controlled by the 610 Office). On June 6th, 2006, she was sent to Penglai City Hospital for emergency. She died on June 9th, 2006. It is said that Ms. Wu Hong's skull was smashed and fractured. She was in a deep coma before her death, and relied on a breathing machine. Details of her death have yet to be investigated. -
Elderly Ms. Liu Yuanzhen Kidnapped and Brainwashed – Dies After Long Term Persecution by 610 Office
2006-06-26Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Yuanzhen, 62, was kidnapped after distributing leaflets exposing the persecution and took her to the Lannigou Brainwashing Centre. Ms. Liu went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. She was in critical health condition. Given the strong pleas by her family, the 610 Office released her. After she returned home, the police frequently came to her home to harass her, causing her to suffer sever physical and mental injury. Ms. Liu Yuanzhen died due to the severe persecution on May 11th, 2006. -
Ms. Wang Guohua Tortured to Insanity at Heizuizi Prison
2006-06-26On March 25th, 2004, while some practitioners including Ms. Wang Guohua were spreading leaflets exposing the persecution in Dehui City, police arrested them and forced a confession from them by means of torture. On September 14th, 2004, the Court of Dehui City sentenced Ms. Wang Guohua to eight years in the Women’s Prison of Jilin Province. According to the family members of other prisoners, Ms. Wang Guohua has recently been persecuted to the point of insanity. -
Li Huiqi Paralysed and Mentally Unstable from Torture in Shijiazhuang Labour Camp
2006-06-26The Hebei province "610"office along with Shijiazhuang labour camp tortured Li Huiqi during her detention. She is in critical condition. Her whole body is paralysed and she has had a tracheotomy. She has to breathe via a tube and her mind is unclear. During the few moments she is clear, all she can feel is excruciating pain all over. She is in a near vegetative state. On December 3rd, 2002, the labour camp inhumanly put Li Huiqi, whose life was in danger, into a hospital and never cared about her. Her older sister had to take her home to care for her. Li Huiqi has been suffering for 5 years. Her case is clear evidence of the cruelty of Hebei "610" terrorism and Shijiazhuang labour camp. -
Jilin City National Security Police Persecuted Practitioner Ms. Wang Yin
2006-06-25In May 2005, the Jilin City National Security Police sent people to Ms. Wang Yin's workplace, Jilin City Radiation Chemical Industries, to investigate her activities and arrested her. Ms. Wang was sent to Changchun and detained at a secret detention centre under the jurisdiction of Jilin Province National Security. She was detained for more than a month. Everyday she had to wear handcuffs and foot shackles; she was often forced to sit on a chair for a long time during the day. At night, she had to sleep on two chairs, because there was not enough space to lie down stretched out. -
Practitioner Mr. Zhao Xifa Suffers Oedema after Four Months Detention at Laixi Prison
2006-06-25On February 17th, 2006, police officers arrested him and ransacked his home, seizing Falun Dafa books and materials. On June 1st, 2006, Mr. Zhao’s wife received a call from a relative. The police said that Zhao Xifa was ill, and they wanted money to pay the medical bills. Under the surveillance of several police, Mr. Zhao Xifa was finally taken to the Laixi City People’s Hospital for an examination. At that time, Mr. Zhao’s wife saw that his face and other parts of his body, from his legs to his abdomen, were all swollen. -
My Experiences at the Tianjin City Women's Forced Labour Camp
2006-06-25The Tianjin City Women's Forced Labour Camp is a hell on earth. Before the No. 5 Division was enlarged, many Falun Gong practitioners were cruelly persecuted there. During the autumn and winter seasons, the cells are very cold and damp. A new detainee is often so frightened that she cannot fall asleep at night. There were heaters in the cells, but they were never allowed to be turned on unless outside visitors or government officials came to inspect the camp. Instead, only the stove in each cell was allowed to burn a small amount of coal. The camp didn’t give any wood for lighting a fire, so the practitioners had to use their wooden stools instead. -
Criminal Records of Police Officers in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province
2006-06-25Physical abuse is commonplace for Dafa practitioners at the labour camp. One practitioner’s arm was twisted until it was disabled. The police officer who did this is now a deputy director. Some were beaten unconscious with electric batons, revived, and beaten unconscious again. Their skin turned dark red after being assaulted repeatedly with electric batons. Others were handcuffed and hung up day and night. Even when they were sleeping at night, their hands were cuffed to the metal poles at the bed’s head, and they could not move, as the handcuffs would cut into the flesh deeper and deeper. Some were slapped on the face until their faces were swollen and mouths were bleeding. -
Hong Kong Practitioner Liu Ding Unjustly Detained in Beijing
2006-06-24My mother and I are permanent residents of Hong Kong. Because my father became paralysed, my mother, Liu Ding, went back to Beijing, and she has been looking after my dad for the past five years. Recently the Chinese Communist Party has deprived her of her freedom and right to look after my critically ill father. On the afternoon of June 6th, 2006, mother took dinner to dad in the hospital as usual. At about 7:30 p.m. she left the hospital. We lost contact with her at that point. It was reported that she is detained in the Public Security Sub-Bureau of Xuanwu District, Beijing City. -
Ms. Que Fazhi Died an Agonising Death from Torture
2006-06-24Ms. Que Fazhi was a Falun Dafa practitioner in Panlian Township, Miyi County, Sichuan Province. When she was alive, she was brutally persecuted by local Communist Party members numerous times. In May 2002, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. On June 3rd, she was arrested by police in Beijing and sent to Dongcheng Detention Centre. Later, she was blindfolded and transferred to the basement of a nearby hospital where she was handcuffed and shackled onto a bed and given injections of unknown drugs. On October 30th, 2002, she died in extreme pain at the age of 49. -
Whereabouts of Practitioner Couple Remain Unknown
2006-06-24Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Huimin, 53, was arrested at the hospital where she had been caring for her sick father. During her detention, the authorities forced her to stand for long periods of time and allowed her almost no rest or sleep. In September 2005, after Ms. Li had completed her two-year sentence of forced labour, officials arrested her at her workplace. Her whereabouts remain unknown to this day. Ms. Li's husband, Xu Qutian, was released after three years of forced labour in Guangzhou City. His whereabouts also remain unknown. -
My Body Weight Fell from 195 Pounds to 78 Pounds During Four and a Half Months of Torture
2006-06-24A woman who remained steadfast in her practice and beliefs endured a series of brutal tortures. Police tied her up and suspended her off the ground for three days. Doctors injected her with poison. Her body weight fell from 195 pounds to 78 pounds. Her non-practitioner husband was not spared either. The police poured boiling water on him during interrogation. -
Zhang Zhikui of Zhaoyuan City Recounts the Tortures He Experienced to the Investigation Committee
2006-06-23"I was sent to the Tiebei Detention Centre in Changchun. As soon as I entered the cell, the police told the prisoners, "Take good care of him for me." After that, three to four inmates pushed me to the ground and beat and kicked me. They then pulled off all my clothes and kicked me again towards the wall. I fell down to the ground and could not get up, but they continued kicking me. My arms and legs began to bleed. The cut on my thigh bled profusely. The detained practitioners were constantly monitored by the prisoners, and randomly beaten and cursed."
