Hunan Province Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. He Xuezhao Dies from Persecution; Police Arrest His Wife

42-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. He Xuezhao was tortured by the police until he could not walk and was at the brink of death. He was released around February 2005 on medical parole. Agents from the Zixing 610 Office in Chenzhou City and from his workplace continued to harass and monitor him. He Xuezhao passed away on January 13th, 2006. Zixing police have recently arrested his wife. Her current whereabouts are unknown. -
Recent Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Division 1 of the Second Women's Section of the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2006-01-22Force-feeding is one of the most brutal persecution methods used in Masanjia. The goal is not simply to administer food into the victim's stomach through a nasal tube, but to inflict great pain in an attempt to destroy the practitioner's will. Prior to the feeding, a few guards first strike the practitioner to the ground, pin her down, and cover her nose and mouth with plastic film until she has almost lost consciousness. Then the perpetrators make a hole in the film and insert a very thick feeding tube through the nostrils into the practitioner's stomach. The perpetrators swirl the tube around to inflict greater pain, until the practitioner has reached the limit of endurance. The guards and labour camp doctor want the practitioner to give up her belief and end the hunger strike. -
Police Officers in Hebei Province Attempt to Extort Money from Falun Gong Practitioners and Confiscate a Practitioner's Car
2006-01-22On July 13th, 2005, Liu Wenming, deputy head of the Houcun Town Police Department, gathered up several other officers. In violation of the Chinese Constitution, they arrested practitioner Mr. Ma Junkai. They took him to the Houcun Town Police Department and sent him to a detention centre. Three days later Liu Wenming attempted to extort money from practitioner Mr. Ma Junkai but didn't succeed. Seven days later, Mr. Ma Junkai was sent to the Handan Forced Labour Camp to be held for three years. -
Another Witness Steps Forward to Expose the Raping of Falun Gong Women by the Chinese Communist Party's Police
2006-01-21On November 24th, 2005 police stormed into my house and forcibly took me to the police station. There, police officer He Xuejian called practitioner Ms Liu Jizhi to his room. About thirty minutes later Liu Jizhi came out. She fell into my arms, cried and shouted, "Aunt [in China, a courteous way to address women of older age], I don't want to live!" I asked, "What happened?" She said, "He Xuejian raped me." I couldn't believe my ears. I asked her once more, "Really? He did this do you?" She said, "Yes it's true!" She again held me and cried. -
Former Teacher Mr. Du Anli Suffers Mental Collapse from Torture at the Zhangshi Forced Labour Camp
2006-01-21Mr. Du Anli was a teacher at the Liaoning Art Vocational College in Liaoning Province. He was also a Falun Gong practitioner. Zhangshi Forced Labour Camp brutally tortured him for two years, causing his mental collapse. In June of last year, he was released from Shenxin Forced Labour Camp after being transferred there from Zhangshi Forced Labour Camp. Mr. Du is currently unable to work and unable to live a normal life due to the persecution. -
Paralysed Woman Who Gained a New Life from Falun Dafa Passed Away in 2003 as a Result of Persecution
2006-01-21A paralysed woman who lived in the countryside of Jilin Province miraculously recovered after practising Falun Gong. 36-year-old Ms. Xia Yufang had been completely paralysed since she was 20. After reading the main text of Falun Dafa in 1997 her body gradually returned to full health and mobility. Once the persecution began in 1999 the local police unceasingly harassed her again and again, trying to force her to stop practising Falun Dafa. Her elderly mother was arrested. Suffering deeply with the grief and indignation of her mother being persecuted, Xia Yongfang passed away on January 14th, 2003. -
Exposing the Crimes of Yin Shuiping, Head of the 610 Office in Hunan Province
2006-01-21Once Yin Shuiping, head of Yongxing County's 610 Office, wanted to go to Yuelai Hot Springs to enjoy himself but he didn't have much money, so he brought several local police officers to a practitioner's home. They illegally ransacked it, smashing furniture and searching carefully, which created a horrible scene. When the Dafa books were found, Yin started to knock on the top of the table, scolding and threatening, then "sweet-talking." Once they got the money, they immediately rushed out and went to the hot springs. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Liu Zhirong Tortured to Death at the No. 3 Prison in Gansu Province
2006-01-20It has been verified that Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Zhirong was tortured to death at the No. 3 Prison in Tianshui City, Gansu Province. The prison authorities claimed Liu Zhirong had been ill but refused treatment, and then committed suicide. They would not allow Liu Zhirong's family to view the body or take the body home. Suicide is prohibited by the teachings of Falun Gong. In the vast majority of these cases, the practitioners were murdered, and the Chinese authorities called it a suicide in order to avoid responsibility and to further defame Falun Gong. The details of his death require further investigation. -
Detailed Information Regarding Mr. Xu Zhicheng's Death
2006-01-2044-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xu Zhicheng was arrested at his home on September 23rd, 2005, tortured, and held in the No. 2 Detention Centre. In protest for his unjust incarceration Mr. Xu Zhicheng went on hunger strike from September 26th to October 2nd. The detention centre force-fed him once a day with up to a bag of salt with corn cereal or soybean powder. They injected this paste through a nasal feeding tube. He vomited blood after they inserted the tube. At midnight on October 2nd, the inmates reported for the third time that Mr. Xu was dying. Eventually he was driven to the hospital but was pronounced dead on October 3rd. -
Lieutenant Governor Wang Donghua Cannot Escape Responsibility for the Persecution Deaths of 336 Falun Gong Practitioners in Heilongjiang Province
2006-01-20The number of confirmed death cases of Falun Gong practitioners from Heilongjiang Province is 336. This number is 12% of the total number of 2805 death cases in China. Daqing City accounts for the persecution-related deaths of 54 practitioners (2% of the total in China and 17% of the total in Heilongjiang Province). Wang Donghua, lieutenant governor of Heilongjiang Province, directly participated and directed the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in Heilongjiang Province. He cannot escape responsibility for the crimes he has committed. -
Practitioners Severely Tortured in Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2006-01-20On the morning of April 5th, 2005, all practitioners detained in the Third and Fourth Sections of the Second Ward of Masanjia Forced Labour Camp took off their camp uniforms to declare that they were not criminals. On April 5th, 6th, and 7th, the cells were filled with the sounds of the guards beating practitioners and the practitioners' bitter screams. Some practitioners' heads and bodies were bleeding from being beaten with metal rods, and some practitioners had internal injuries. -

Belated News: The Death of Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr Zhao Xudong Due to Force-Feeding
2006-01-19On December 7th, 2003, police detained Mr Zhao Xudong at a detention centre. The prison guards directed prisoners to punch and kick him. Mr. Zhao suffered chest pain for a long time because of this. He went on a hunger strike to protest the abuse under the persecution and was barbarically force-fed. Around 5:00 p.m. on February 5th, 2004, after two hours of forced feeding, Mr. Zhao was moved to a bed board and surrounded by 7 or 8 prisoners. He was in critical condition and was sent to a hospital around 7:30 p.m. Mr. Zhao was pronounced dead on arrival. -
Guard at Fanjiatai Prison: "It's No Big Deal to Beat One or Two People to Death in a Prison"
2006-01-19On August 18th, 2005, in the brick factory, the prison guards forced Mr. Liu Shuiqing to do strenuous physical labour. Because Liu Shuiqing refused to cooperate, prison guard led others to punch and kick him. Upon seeing how the prison guards were beating him, other prisoners joined in the beating. As a result, Liu Shuiqing's ribs were fractured. The next day the guards knew that their beating had already severely injured Liu Shuiqing, but they still slapped his face. There was also a prison guard shouting threats including, "It is no big deal to beat one or two people to death in a prison." -
Elderly Ms. Fang Guiming and Ms. Wang Xiuyun Died after Being Imprisoned for Years by Their Families Due to Pressure from the Chinese Communist Party
2006-01-19Ms. Fang Guiming and Ms. Wang Xiuyun were 73-years-old and 63-years-old. Bullied and threatened by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), their family members detained them at home for a long time. Ms. Fang died in July 2001, and Ms. Wang in the spring of 2003. Although she protested repeatedly, Ms. Wang's family members still kept her locked in a cabin not even 18 square metres. She was deprived of all freedom, and she suffered severely both physically and psychologically.
