On July 14th, 2007, Austrian Falun Gong practitioners gathered at Vienna’s Heldenplatz Square to mark the eighth year since the Chinese regime banned the practice and the beginning of Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful efforts to end the persecution and to expose the Chinese Communist regime’s atrocities to all the people around the world. -
Holland: Practitioners Protest at the Chinese Embassy against the CCP's Eight Year Persecution

On July 20th, 2007, Dutch Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy to protest against the Chinese Communist Party's eight year persecution of Falun Gong. Practitioners set up banners and display boards with pictures and photos reflecting the journey of Falun Gong across the world during the past decade. -
Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in the Fourth Multicultural Festival in Augsburg

On July 7th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in the 4th Multicultural Festival in Augsburg. The festival's theme was “peace, freedom and respect for beliefs” and it was well attended by local residents and people from neighbouring cities. It was the third time that Falun Gong practitioners have demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises at the festival. -
Ireland: Candlelight Vigil on a Rainy Night

On July 20th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners held a candlelight vigil, mourning Falun Gong practitioners who have been persecuted to death by the CCP since July 20th, 1999, and disclosing the CCP’s crimes. The weather was bad and it rained. On seeing that Falun Gong practitioners were still protesting in such weather, a young man was so moved that he wanted to take a photo. -
Denmark: The Divine Marching Band in Copenhagen

In order to support the twenty four million people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the European Divine Marching Band came to Copenhagen in Denmark, to join a parade held on July 7th and 8th. It took place at the same time as an annual Jazz music festival and the entire city was filled with people. -

On July 20th, 2007, Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of Falun Gong will have lasted eight years. In order to reveal the unprecedented cruel persecution of Falun Gong launched by the Chinese Communist Party and to bring the persecution to end as early as possible, on the evening of July 22nd, some Danish Falun Gong practitioners held an activity on the busiest street in the capital city of Copenhagen. -

After July 2007 was designated as the month of global withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party, volunteers at Finland's Centre for Withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party and some Falun Gong practitioners held activities at the beginning of the month to reveal the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party. -
Sweden: Swedish Practitioners Raise Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong

European member of the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China Leif Bork Hansen made a speech. -
Switzerland: Stories During Activities to Raise Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong

Luzerne is a famous tourist spot in Switzerland. Many visitors, including more and more tourists from mainland China, are attracted here by its fame. Falun Gong practitioners from Switzerland think that this is a good place to tell Chinese people about the persecution of Falun Gong face to face, distribute the Epoch Times newspaper's editorial “The Nine Commentaries of the Communist Party” and inform people how to quit the CCP. For this reason, Swiss practitioners come here in turns five days a week. When meeting tourists from mainland China, there were many touching stories. -
Germany: Practitioners Raise Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong during the Free Democratic Party Conference
2007-07-18During the Free Democratic (FDP) Conference in Stuttgart, Falun Gong practitioners handed leaflets to the party representatives at the main entrance to the arena, exposing the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution and organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Some of the representatives have already had a clear understanding of the persecution. On May 10th 2007, Florian Toncar, spokesman for the FDP and member of the Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid Committee had pushed German MPs to jointly submit a resolution condemning the CCP system of forced labour education.
