Germany: Prior to Hu Jintao's Visit, Practitioners in Düsseldorf Appealed to Stop the Persecution
2005-11-22Before President Hu visited Düsseldorf, practitioners arrived to talk to politicians, business people and media about human rights abuses against Falun Gong in China. While appealing to people to pay more attention to the problem of the persecution, the practitioners set up two information stalls in front of the city and the state government buildings. -
Germany: Petition Signing Activity in Frankfurt before Hu’s visit
2005-11-21Practitioners from Frankfurt organised an information day in a city on the river Main. The reason for the activity was the visit of the State President of China in November. Signatures were collected, which were mailed to the Federal President Horst Köhler. We appealed to Mr Köhler to support the end of the persecution of Falun Gong in China. -
Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Appeal in Berlin on the Eve of Hu Jintao’s State Visit to Germany
2005-11-18On the eve of Hu Jintao’s visit to Berlin, German Falun Gong practitioners held anti-torture exhibitions at the Pariserplatz in front of the Brandenburg Gate and the Breitscheidplatz located in the heart of West Berlin. Signatures were also collected and will be passed to the German government. -
German Falun Dafa Association Writes an Open Letter to Hu Jintao
2005-11-17"During your visit Germany, we strongly ask you to free the German Falun Gong practitioner, Jiang Renzheng, as well as all Falun Gong practitioners who are illegally imprisoned, giving them back their freedom. Romania: People in Timisoara Support Freedom and Human Rights in China
2005-11-13On October 5th 2005, a seminar with the title “The Collapsing Red Wall” was held in Timis Court in Romania’s second largest city, Timisoara. The seminar attracted great attention from local media, human rights organisations, academics, students and residents. Romania’s State Television carried a live interview. -
Sweden: Practitioners Introduce Falun Gong at a Health Fair in the City of Kungalv
2005-11-13From October 28th until November 1st, Public Health Days 2005 took place in the city of Kungalv, Sweden and many activities connected to people’s health were organised. Among other things, a Health Fair was arranged on October 29th and 31st. More than thirty different organisations took part in the Health Fair and Falun Gong was invited as one of the exhibitors. We received a very good and prominent location in the middle of the hall. -

Belgium: Practitioners Hold a Press Conference to Update the Progress of the Lawsuit against the 610 Office
2005-11-11On October 21st, Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference with famous Belgian human rights lawyer, George Henri Beauthier, who gave a status report on Falun Gong practitioners’ lawsuit against the “610 Office” on charges of telephone harassment. Hao Fenjun, the former 610 officer who has defected from the CCP, attended the conference. -

2005-11-07Practitioners from northern England got together in York, which is a famous tourist city in the U.K., to introduce Falun Gong and explain the facts about the persecution. Though it was raining, many passersby stopped to look at photos of the cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in Mainland China. -
Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Raise Awareness about the Persecution in Nurnberg during the Fields of Shame Exhibition
2005-11-06Falun Gong practitioners were invited to the exhibition Fields of Shame which was held from October 15th to 17th in Nurnberg. They informed visitors about the continuing persecution of practitioners in China. The exhibition can be viewed in various German cities until December 10th, International Human Rights Day. -
Ukraine: Anti-Torture Exhibition held at the Chinese Consulate in Support of “The Global Coalition to Bring Jiang to Justice” Launched in Sydney
2005-11-06On October 19th, a local rally in front of the Chinese Consulate in Sydney marked the launch of “The Global Coalition to Bring Jiang to Justice” in Australia. To support The Coalition, on the afternoon of October 25th Ukrainian practitioners held a peaceful rally outside the Chinese Consulate in the Ukrainian capital Kiev.
