  • Norway: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong at a Health Expo in Oslo

    An annual Health Expo was held in a Gymnasium in Oslo on November 21st. The three day Expo was held on a weekend and attracted a lot of people. Since Falun Gong has physically and spiritually benefited over one hundred million people around the world, the Falun Gong group has been invited to participate in the event every year. Many visitors came over to watch practitioners' exercise demonstration and ask questions about Falun Gong.
  • Radio Free Asia: Former Governor of Hong Kong Chris Patten Challenges the CCP's Rejection of Western Democracy

    Radio Free Asia broadcasting station interviewed Sichuanese internet writer Ran Fei Yun, who said that he supports Chris Patten’s view, but also added, “I see that the headline should be the CCP is challenging the West but the CCP is not China. The CCP persistently mixes up notions of things like country, nationality and political power.” He continued, saying that the Western Media and its relevant personages should distinguish between the people and the rulers.   • Germany: The President of the German Green Party Urges the German Chancellor to Discuss Human Rights with the Chinese Government

    On October 26th it was reported by Voice of Germany that Chairman Volker Beck of the Green Party stated that German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel should be talking about China's human rights status with the Chinese Communist Party during her second trip to Beijing. Mr. Beck said in the interview that he hoped that during this visit the issue of human rights would be discussed and that Chancellor Merkel should urge the CCP to approve the international covenant regarding civil and political rights which has been committed by the Chinese government
  • Finland: Raising Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong in China

    “It is very important that you clarify the truth to the Finns. You should contact the Finnish government and MPs so that they would not see only the economic situation with China. They should say no to the CCP’s persecution. In history, the Finns knew that the Soviet Union was bad. People should know about the (evil nature of the) CCP. ”
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold a Large Parade in Berlin

    On November 15th, 2008, more than a thousand Falun Gong practitioners from twenty-five countries in Europe and Asia held a large scale parade in Berlin, appealing to Europeans and the rest of the world to pay attention to human rights and religious issues in China.
  • Austria: Practitioners Raise Awareness about Falun Gong in Linz

    On the 11th and 18th of October, Falun Gong practitioners in Austria held an 'Information Day' in Schiller Park and Pigeon Square in the city of Linz. This was the first time that this kind of activity was held in these two places and attracted great interest from passers-by.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold an Information Day in Hannover

    Falun gong practitioners held an activity to raise awareness about Falun Gong at Kroepke Square in Hannover. They hoped to expose the crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners committed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and appealed to all people to help stop the persecution.
  • 2008 European Experience Sharing Conference Held in Berlin

    The 2008 European Falun Gong Experience Sharing Conference was successfully held in Berlin, Germany on November 16th. Practitioners from more than 30 countries participated in the Conference. 18 practitioners shared their own experiences and understandings of how to cultivate themselves. The Conference atmosphere was both warm and solemn. The Conference came to a successful conclusion with a reading of the Complementary Message sent by Falun Dafa's founder, Mr Li Hongzhi.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold a Large Parade in Berlin to Raise Awareness of the Brutal Persecution of Falun Gong in China

    “Falun Gong is amazing! I am not a Falun Gong practitioner, but I have seen they have done many things, I feel today’s gathering is just great. Such a large scale activity, I am so moved that I cannot help but cry. I think more Chinese people should come to see this sort of gathering, to see with their own eyes what has happened.”
  • Sweden: Activity in Stockholm to Raise Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Dafa

    On August 23rd, Falun Gong practitioners went to Mynttorg Square in Stockholm, to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP. Practitioners also exposed incidents of the CCP harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and provided an opportunity for Chinese people to withdraw from the CCP.
  • Ukraine: Ukrainian Police Recommend Practice Site to Falun Gong Practitioners

    When the police heard that Falung Gong practitioners are brutally persecuted by the Chinese Communist regime, immediately their attitude softened. They told practitioners, “There are not many people in this park. If you want to let more people know the truth, you have to find a place with many people."
  • Finland: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Activities at a Green Weekend Expo in Helsinki

    From November 7th to the 9th, a major event called Green Weekend was held in the Exhibition Centre in Helsinki and attracted more than 20,000 visitors. The practitioners told visitors about the benefits they had received through practising Falun Gong as well as the brutal persecution of Falun Gong taking place in China.
  • Sweden: Raising Awareness about the Brutal Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in China

    On November 8th, Falun Gong practitioners went to Mynttorg Square in Stockholm. They distributed leaflets and displayed photos exposing the CCP's crime of harvesting Falun Gong practitioners’ organs. After understanding the truth many people signed their names in support of an end to the persecution of Falun Gong.
  • Russia: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to the 20th Child Expo in Moscow

    The 20th Russian Child Expo was held at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre from November 1st until the 5th. With over 120 organisations participating, the Expo attracted a lot of visitors and concluded with great success. Russian Falun Gong practitioners were also invited to participate in the event.
  • Sweden: The European Union Conference on Human Rights Urges China to Improve Human Rights

    This year is the sixtieth anniversary of the birth of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, however according to a Reporters without Borders report, Eutelsat closed down New Tang Dynasty TV (NTDTV)’s broadcast to mainland China in June this year, using 'technical problems' as the excuse.
