  • Russia: The Art of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance Exhibition Held in Kotlas

    The Art of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance International Exhibition was held in Kotlas on December 6-18, 2011. The art exhibition moved many visitors to tears and many promised to return with their relatives and friends as they were leaving. Almost every visitor wrote comments in the guestbook expressing support and appreciation for the exhibition.
  • Finland: Practitioners Hold Candlelight Vigil on Human Rights Day

    On the evening of December 10, 2011, International Human Rights Day, at Helsinki's central railway station, Falun Gong practitioners in Finland held a candlelight vigil to mourn the practitioners who have died as a result of the persecution. Many people signed the petition to support practitioners' efforts.
  • Poland: Introducing Falun Dafa in Kielce

    On November 26, 2011, Falun Gong practitioners gathered in Kielce, a 900-year-old historic city in Southeast Poland, to introduce Falun Gong to the local people. It was very chilly with a cold breeze blowing when the practitioners arrived in downtown Kielce on a Sunday morning.
  • Italy: Exposing the CCP's Human Rights Abuses in Chinatown, Prato

    The city of Prato, Italy, hosts one of the largest Chinese communities in Europe. In the summertime practitioners assemble in the park on Colombo Street, where Chinese people often gather for social activities. Practitioners display a Falun Gong banner, hand out materials, and practice the five exercises.
  • Finland: Falun Gong Practitioners Collect Signatures on International Human Rights Day

    December 4, 2011 was International Human Rights Day. Falun Gong practitioners from Rovanieni, Finland, took this opportunity to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China to the public. They collected signatures in support of Falun Gong and called upon Finnish people to help stop the persecution.
  • Germany: Candlelight Vigil Held in Freiburg Condemning the Persecution of Falun Gong

    On December 10, International Human Rights Day, Falun Gong practitioners held a candlelight vigil in downtown Freiburg, condemning the 12-year-long persecution of Falun Gong in China. Practitioners displayed pictures of Falun Gong practitioners who died as a result of torture in China. In the last 12 years, 3463 people died in the persecution.
  • Austria: Practitioners Call Attention to the Persecution of Falun Gong on International Human Rights Day

    On December 10, International Human Rights Day, Falun Gong practitioners from Austria held activities at Michaeler Platz in Vienna, exposing the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China, and calling for an end to the persecution, which has lasted over 12 years.
  • United Kingdom: Activity Held for Human Rights Day in London, VIPs Voice Support for Falun Gong

    On December 8, just before International Human Rights Day, UK Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference in front of the National Gallery in London, calling for joint efforts to stop the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong. More than a dozen Members of British Parliament and European Parliament sent letters of support for the event.
  • Turkey: Falun Dafa Photo Exhibition Held in the Ancient City of Urfa

    From November 23 to 27, 2011, Falun Dafa practitioners held a "Peaceful Journey of Falun Dafa" photo exhibition in Urfa, a historic, ancient city in southeastern Turkey. The exhibition was held to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the brutal persecution by the Chinese Communist regime.
  • Sweden: “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” Exhibit Held in Orebro

    The Swedish non-profit Arts and Culture organisation held the “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” Art Exhibition in the City of Örebro from November 12-26, at a business centre in the middle of the city. The artists are Falun Gong practitioners, some of whom have been subjected to persecution and torture in China.
  • Spain: Falun Gong Booth Shines at Madrid Health Expo

    On November 13, the annual National Health Exposition was held in the Madrid convention centre. Falun Gong practitioners hosted an information booth for the ninth year. Their booth was one of the most visited, and the practitioners met many people who were interested in learning about the practice.
  • Germany: Practitioners Hold Activities to Raise Awareness about Falun Gong in Wiesbaden

    On Saturday, November 12, 2011, Falun Gong practitioners in Germany held an "Information Day" event in Wiesbaden, raising awareness about Falun Dafa and exposing the CCP’s twelve-year long, brutal persecution. Despite the cold, many stopped to sign the petition, take materials and ask questions about Falun Dafa. Many wanted to know where they could learn the practice.
  • Turkey: Falun Gong Photo Exhibition Raises Awareness

    From November 11 to 17, Falun Gong practitioners from Turkey held a photo exhibition titled “Peaceful Resistance” in Adana, the fourth largest city in Turkey. Many local citizens went to the exhibition. They expressed their support for Falun Gong and condemned the persecution after viewing the photos. Some of them also learned the exercises at the exhibition.
  • Finland: Practitioners Raise Awareness about Falun Gong and the Persecution in Rovaniemi

    Rovaniemi, the capital of Northern Finland, hosted the annual “Children's Rights Day” on November 19, 2011. Local people came to downtown in groups of two or three, because Santa Claus comes to meet with children every year this time. At the same time, local Falun Gong practitioners held activities to raise people's awareness about the ongoing persecution in China.
  • CCP Head Visits Austria, Falun Gong Practitioners Protest the Persecution

    Head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Hu Jintao arrived in Vienna the evening of October 30, 2011. During his stay, practitioners in Austria held peaceful protest activities, condemning the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, calling for bringing the chief culprits in the persecution of Falun Gong (Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang) to justice.
