  • Netherlands: Introducing Falun Dafa in the City of Amersfoort

    On May 22, Falun Gong practitioners from The Netherlands came to Amersfoort to introduce Falun Gong to the local citizens. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises, passed out flyers and talked to local citizens. Several people learned the exercises at the activity. This was the first of a series of activities that practitioners plan to hold in various cities.
  • Istanbul Audience Member: Shen Yun a "Magical Experience"

    On Friday 21st May, Shen Yun Performing Arts performed at the auspicious Anadolu Auditorium. Enjoying the performance was engineer Ismael Cinar. "This show was a magical music and dance combination.

 When I see a show, I'm looking for centralization... But this was good. It's incredible."


  • United Kingdom: Mayor of Brighton Praises International Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition

    On May 20, the opening ceremony for the International Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition was held in Brighton. Mayor Geoff Wells came to open the exhibition. He was impressed and spent nearly three hours viewing the paintings. Other visitors included the dean of the School of Art, University of Brighton.
  • Special Press Conference Held in front of the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Moldova

    An open press conference was held by Shen Yun's local presenter in front of the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet, in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova on the evening of May 25, 2010. They protested the Chinese Communist regime's interference with another country's affairs and pressuring the Moldovan government into cancelling the Shen Yun Performing Arts performance.
  • Finland: Falun Gong Practitioners Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day in Helsinki

    On this sunny afternoon, practitioners put up a banner reading "Celebrating Falun Dafa Day" in the park and set up display boards and a table where people could sign a petition to condemn the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong. During the activity, the practitioners also demonstrated the peaceful exercises, which drew a lot of interest from passersby.
  • Sweden: World Falun Dafa Day Celebrations in Stockholm

    On the morning of the 13th of May, 2010, practitioners in Sweden held group exercise demonstrations in the centre of Stockholm to celebrate the 11th World Falun Dafa Day and to wish the founder of Falun Gong, Mr. Li Hongzhi, a happy 59th birthday. Attracted by the mellow music and relaxing movements, many Swedes joined to learn the exercises.
  • United Kingdom: Practitioners Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day in London

    On May 15, 2010, the 11th World Falun Dafa Day and the 18th anniversary of Falun Gong's public introduction were celebrated at St. Martin's Square in London. The festivities expressed practitioners' gratitude towards Master Li, showcased the grace of Falun Gong, and called for public action to help stop the persecution of Falun Gong.
  • Poland: Celebrating World Falun Dafa Day

    Practitioners in Poland held activities in Warsaw and Lodz to celebrate May 13, World Falun Dafa Day, the 18th Anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction and the 59th Birthday of Master Li Hongzhi. Many people wanted to find out more and signed a petition calling for an end to the human rights abuses against Falun Gong in China.
  • Switzerland: Patron Drawn to Shen Yun Like a Magnet

    Florence Clavier is a stopover director for an airline company at the Geneva airport. She travelled over an hour from Geneva to see the Shen Yun Performing Arts show on May 15. This was her third time seeing Shen Yun. "The first time was magic, the second was also magic, and the third was even more magic!" After the show, she said, "I leave from there rejuvenated, rested."
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day and Master Li's Birthday

    May 13 was World Falun Dafa Day and the birthday of the founder of Falun Gong. To celebrate this, on May 8, Falun Gong practitioners from Munich and Bavaria held activities in front of the Munich Palace and the National Opera, showcasing the beauty of Falun Gong through exercise demonstrations and photo exhibits.
  • Czech: Celebrating World Falun Dafa Day in Prague

    On May 15, Falun Gong practitioners in Czech held activities in downtown Prague in celebration of World Falun Dafa Day. Practitioners displayed photos to introduce the spreading of Falun Gong around the world, and expose the brutal persecution in China. Many people took informational materials.
  • Belgian Dancer and Singer Rave about Shen Yun

    Former ballerina Monique Deval was moved to tears after watching the Shen Yun Performing Arts show at the Aula Magna on Saturday May 8, 2010. "It is absolutely fabulous! Fabulous! Moving! It is extraordinary, they are all so full of beauty and lightness--I had tears in my eyes," she said. "It was all so extraordinary, this show."
  • Russia: Celebrating World Falun Dafa Day in Moscow

    On May 15 and 16, practitioners held celebrations at in Moscow. They performed traditional Chinese dances, waist drumming and singing. They also demonstrated the exercises. Many people stopped to enjoy the performances.
  • Shen Yun in Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium: A Precious Gift for Mom

    Ms. Kristina László wanted to see Shen Yun after attending a reception in Parliament promoting the show. She and her mum, Ilona, attended in honour of her mother's 60th birthday. The ladies loved the show and thought Shen Yun was a great way to mark the occasion. Ms. László said joyfully, "We celebrated like this."
  • Russia: Falun Dafa Practitioners Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day

    May 13 was the 11th World Falun Dafa Day and it is also Master Li Hongzhi's birthday. Practitioners in Russia celebrated the special day. On May 15, practitioners held a celebration in the park to promote Falun Dafa by performing waist drumming and dances. They also set up display boards to expose the CCP's persecution.
