    From April 30 to May 9, 2010, Shen Yun Performing Arts has been bringing the beauty and pageantry of ancient Chinese culture to the stage of the Aula Magna Theatre in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, near the EU capital of Brussels. Mr. Alvaro Guillen Lazo, who helps support the EU Parliament, came to the show with his wife and two children.

    On May 13, Falun Gong practitioners from Ireland held activities in downtown Dublin, celebrating World Falun Dafa Day. Practitioners conducted group exercises, and performed traditional Chinese dances and drumming. Many people were attracted to the activities and signed the petition to condemn the brutal persecution.

    On May 13, Falun Gong practitioners from The Netherlands held group exercises at Randenbroek Park in Amersfoort, celebrating World Falun Dafa Day. It was a holiday in Netherlands, and many people in the park were attracted to the peaceful exercises.

    Shen Yun Performing Arts Touring Company concluded a spectacular, ten-show run, at the Aula Magna in Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium on May 11, 2010. Among the many distinguished guests at the show was European Parliament member, Roger Helmer, who represents East Midlands, UK. Mr. Helmer said he would definitely recommend the show to his friends.
  • Denmark: Practitioners Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day

    On the morning of May 13, 2010, Falun Gong practitioners in Denmark held activities to celebrate the 11th World Falun Dafa Day in Kongens Have park, Copenhagen. They wished Falun Gong founder Master Li a Happy Birthday. In the afternoon, the practitioners went to City Hall square in downtown Copenhagen to practise the five sets of exercises.

    On May 13, 2010, Falun Dafa practitioners in Russia held a group exercise practice in front of the Chinese Embassy in Moscow to explain the facts about the persecution in China and peacefully protest. They celebrated World Falun Dafa Day and protested the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong.

    On May 13, 2010, Falun Gong practitioners in France gathered on human rights square beside the Eiffel Tower to wish Master Li a Happy Birthday and celebrate the great World Falun Dafa Day. Falun Gong practitioners performed a flute solo and dancing. Tourists and local residents gave warm applause.

    The Falun Gong exercise demonstration attracted many tourists and local residents. People came one after another to ask about Falun Dafa and the persecution against the practice by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Many tourists asked for contact information so that they could learn Falun Gong when they got home.

    On July 28, 1999, Falun Gong practitioners in France began an activity at Human Rights Square, near the Eiffel Tower. They erected banners reading, "Falun Dafa is Good" and "Stop Persecuting Falun Gong," and explained the facts to passersby, which include tourists from around the world. Over ten years have passed, and the practitioners have persevered.

    Among the audience was theologian Greet Heslinga. She talked about the perfection of the show. "It's incredible. It's truly magnificent. The costumes, the colours, the dance. For me, this was my first exposure to Chinese dance. And it was truly perfect, no flaws."

    Sébastien Morgan, a journalist for Wolvendael Magazine, a south-Brussels newspaper, wants everyone to see the Shen Yun Performing Arts show wherever in the world they might be. "I think there is an important message to convey. This show is one of the channels able to convey this message of spirituality, peace, tolerance, which are missing today," he said.

    A shopping centre may not be a usual location for an art exhibition. However, Iulius Shopping Centre in the city of Suceava, Romania, was most pleased to host the Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition. Initially scheduled for 2 weeks, the exhibition was such a great success that it was extended for one week more.

    On April 24, Falun Gong practitioners in Ireland demonstrated the exercises in front of the Central Post Office in the capital city of Dublin to commemorate the peaceful appeal of 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners in China eleven years ago. The tranquil scene formed a sharp contrast with the Chinese Communist Party's brutal persecution exposed on the posters.
