Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Lin Chunfang Beaten to Death by Police in Tianjin

On November 15, 2004, Ms. Lin Chunfang was distributing Falun Gong information in a residential area when she was stopped by police. The police brutally beat and tortured her. In just 24 hours, this kind middle-aged lady was beaten to the verge of death. Afraid of being held responsible, the police sent Ms. Lin to the hospital. However due to the severe trauma from torture, she died at 6am on November 23, 2004, only 8 days after she was arrested. -
Baicheng City Falun Gong Practitioner, Mr. Wu Quanyi, Dies as a Result of Persecution
2004-12-02Fifty-two year old Mr. Wu Quanyi, former deputy secretary of the People's Committee of Baicheng City was arrested in September 2001, because he practised Falun Dafa and was not afraid to tell people the truth about it. In October of that year, Mr. Wu was sentenced to three years of forced labour, and during his detention he suffered greatly both physically and mentally. He escaped while on medical parole and was forced to become homeless until he died on March 6, 2004. -
Elderly Falun Dafa Practitioner Que Shanyan from Fujian Province Tortured to Death in 2001
2004-12-01Mr. Que Shanyan was in his 60's and a villager from Fujian Province. He went to Beijing twice to appeal for justice for Falun Gong and was detained twice by Shanghang County Police. During the second detention, he was tortured by police for his unyielding faith in Falun Dafa. He became very weak and died at noon on January 31, 2001 in Shanghang County Detention Centre. -
Ms. Yang Mingfen from Guangdong Province Dies After Years of Mistreatment and Abuse During the Persecution
2004-12-01On January 4, 2001, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yang Mingfen and several other practitioners from Guangzhou Province were arrested by police while painting "Falun Dafa Is Good" on the wall outside Maoming Estate. After being detained for two months, Ms. Yang was sentenced to one year in the Sansui Women's Forced Labour Camp and forced to sign documents swearing to give up her belief. After her release she declared that the so-called "transformation" statement was wrong. She was imprisoned again, brutally tortured and died on October 26, 2004. -
54 Year Old Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Yuzhen from Hubei Province Passed Away in 2003 as a Result of Persecution
2004-12-0154 year old Ms. Li Yuzhen, from Wuhan City, Hubei Province, was a retired employee of Wuhan City Sixth Pharmaceutical Company. As a Falun Dafa practitioner she felt it was important to let people know the truth about the practice when the reputation of Dafa is being undermined. For her efforts to clarify the facts, she was detained twice. Because of the long-term physical and mental persecution, Li Yuzhen passed away in January 2003. -
Seventy-Five-Year-Old Ms. Cheng Ke Tortured to Death in Tianjin City Police Station
2004-11-20Ms. Cheng Ke was 75 years old and lived in Tianjin City. On April 23, 1999, she went to Tianjin Institute of Education to clarify the fact that she herself had benefited greatly from practising Falun Dafa. She was subsequently beaten up by the police. Recently, she was tortured to death at a police station in Tianjin City. We have learned that all Falun Dafa practitioners detained in the same police station are on a hunger strike to protest this atrocity. -
Practitioner Ms Wang Yunfang from Shaanxi Province Tortured Beyond Recognition, Died in July 2004
2004-11-20Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Yunfang from Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province refused to give up her belief in Falun Gong, and as a result during the last five years of the persecution, local government officials frequently harassed her and ransacked her house. In late July 2003, Ms. Wang was captured by the "610 Office" police from her house and detained in a Detention Centre. She was tortured until she was beyond recognition. She died on July 5, 2004. -
67 Year Old Ms. Xia Guiqin Passes Away After She and Her Son Endure Frequent Police Harassment and Mistreatment
2004-11-20Ms. Xia Guiqin, sixty-seven years old, was from Jilin City in Jilin Province. After she began practising Falun Dafa in 1996, her liver disease, rheumatism and many other diseases were all cured. She went to Beijing three times to appeal for justice for Falun Gong after the persecution began. For doing this she was frequently persecuted. The stress led her to become ill and died in 2004. -
Six-Year Old Twins Sun Ri And Sun Yue in Shuangcheng City Lost Their Mother in March 2004 - Ms. Xiao Yali Dies From the Brutalities of Force Feeding
2004-11-20On March the 6th 2004, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Xiao Yali from Dongfa Village of Zhoujia Township in Shuangcheng City of Heilongjiang Province died during force-feeding in Shuangcheng City No. 2 Detention Centre. The following is some information about Ms. Xiao's twin children, Sun Ri and Sun Yue. -
A Partial List of Practitioners from Yunnan Province Murdered by Jiang Zemin's Followers
2004-11-19Mr. Kong Qinghuang, 33, resided in Jianshui, Yun'nan Province. He was Deputy Mayor of Lin'an Town. He told local people that he became an honest government official because Falun Gong helped him to improve his morality. But the local authorities "showed their appreciation" by putting Mr. Kong under house arrest, subjecting him to brainwashing, and illegally ransacking his home. He was fired from his job then detained in a detention centre and tortured through force-feeding. Mr. Kong Qinghuang died on September 3, 2000. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Sun Ying Died in May, 2004 as a Result of Persecution in the Dalian City Forced Labour Camp
2004-11-19My wife, Ms. Sun Ying, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Dalian City, Liaoning Province, was tortured during her illegal imprisonment in a forced labour camp. She was 62 years old. During her imprisonment, both her body and her mind were seriously injured, and she began suffering from many illnesses. Upon her release she was constantly monitored and harassed by staff from the local police stations. Due to the constant pressure, her diseases turned more serious, and she passed away on May 12, 2004. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Cai Huilan, from Jilin Province Died in 2001 as a Result of Persecution (Photo)
2004-11-19Ms. Cai Huilan was for Jilin Province. In November 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. The police in Beijing violently beat her and fiercely kicked her in the abdomen. She was kicked to the floor and rolled around in unbearable stomach pain. After she returned home her health deteriorated further. Later, she went to a hospital and was diagnosed as suffering from uterine cancer. She died in November 2001. -
The Responsibility of Beijing's Tongzhou District "610 Office" in the Tragic Death of Ms. Liu Ying
2004-11-19Liu Ying was a 35-year-old college graduate, with a degree in engineering.Because she practised Falun Dafa she was abducted by the Beijing "610 Office" who forced her to become a spy, to betray her family and fellow practitioners. She was deceived into thinking she was helping practitioners, yet her mother and other practitioners were arrested and sent to brainwashing. When she found out the true nature of the "610 Office", she stopped working for them. On June 24, 2003, in a dazed and confused state she jumped off a tall building to her death. -
Ma Jujun and Chai Yong, Falun Dafa Practitioners from Changji City, Xinjiang, Killed as a Result of Persecution
2004-11-18Mr. Ma Jujun and Mr. Chai Yong were both Dafa practitioners from Xinjiang Province, persecuted for their belief in Falun Dafa and tortured to death. Ma Jujun's sister reported him to the police and he was thus incarcerated in a mental hospital and tortured. Chai Yong was sent to a forced labour camp and subjected to beatings and electric shocks. -
Ms. Wang Fang Tortured to Death by Harbin Women's Prison
2004-11-18On September 8, 2004, Ms. Wang Fang was sent to the Harbin Women's Prison. Policeman Jiang Yuntao arrested her in Mudanjiang City. She endured all kinds of inhuman tortures, leaving her skin and bones, which meant that police had to release her. She died at home on the morning of September 24, 2004, less than two months after she was released.
