European Practitioners Appeal during a European Union Meeting despite Freezing Weather

Switzerland: Candlelight Vigil and Information Stall during Basel’s Late Night Museum Opening
2005-02-19Practitioners held a peaceful appeal to highlight the brutal campaign of genocide that has been taking place against Falun Gong in China over the last five years. Many people learned about the persecution of Falun Gong after seeing the peaceful candle-light vigil. We were there until late at night, despite the cold weather. Many people approached us because they wanted to find out more. Some even took a pile of leaflets home with them, as they were eager to help us tell more people about the persecution.
