Zeng, Bo, and other high officials who have given orders in China that have resulted and still result in torture and death." -

Amnesty International Annual Report Exposes China’s Suppression of Falun Gong
2004-06-02Amnesty International released its annual report on human rights status across the world on May the 26th 2004. This report outlines the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, including the rising death toll. It also portrays details of the death of a practitioner from Jilin Province who was beaten to death by prison inmates who were instructed to do so by the prison officials. -
A Seminar on Human Rights in China was Held in the Norwegian Parliament
2004-06-01The Norwegian Parliament was the venue for a seminar on the human rights situation in China. It was hosted by Parliament members and co-arranged by the Norwegian Falun Dafa Association. Many parliament members and representatives from human rights organisations and persecuted groups attended the seminar. -
UK: Explaining the Facts at an Amnesty International Meeting in Huddersfield
2004-05-25On May the 20th, 2004, a Falun Gong practitioner attended a meeting held by the UK Amnesty International working group in Huddersfield. At the meeting, the practitioner explained the facts about Falun Gong to four Amnesty members and showed them a truth-clarification video. When talking about Jiang’s genocide policy against Falun Gong, one of the members appeared to be shocked deeply. The head of this Amnesty International working group expressed his support for Falun Gong, and his wish to do something to rescue Falun Gong practitioners. -
Olympic Watch Issues Press Release on World Falun Dafa Day
2004-05-18Prague, March 19th 2004 – On the occasion of Falun Dafa Day, Olympic Watch (Committee for the 2008 Olympic Games in a Free and Democratic Country) has issued a statement today, condemning religious persecution in the People’s Republic of China. Olympic Watch was established in Prague in 2001. Its mission is to monitor the human rights situation in China in the run-up to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and to campaign to achieve improvements in the lives of the people of China. -
Belgian Amnesty International Issues a Statement Regarding the Chinese Premier’s Visit to Belgium and the EU China Trade Forum
2004-05-10Belgian Amnesty International issued a statement on the Chinese premier’s visit to Belgium and the EU China trade forum. The statement especially pointed out that the International Amnesty requests the Chinese government to conduct a thorough, fair and independent investigation into the already verified deaths of Falun Gong practitioners in detention centres, reports on Falun Gong practitioners being subjected to torture during detention periods and brutally persecuted.
