The Epoch Times: Organ Harvesting Cannot Be Tolerated, Says French Justice Minister
2007-02-17At the recent 3rd World Conference Against the Death Penalty, current French Minister of Justice Pascal Clement and Minister of Justice during the Mitterrand government Robert Badinter said that the Chinese Communist regime's organ harvesting cannot be condoned and must be stopped. The Falun Gong group was invited to report on and display photos of the persecution of its members. -

2007-02-16"It is important to inform people about the atrocities practitioners are subjected to," says Norwegian Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Terese Eriksen in an article in the Harstad Tidende Daily published on the 9th of January 2007. The article brings up the many inhumanities, including torture and organ harvesting, that Falun Gong practitioners are suffering in a persecution which started in 1999 in China. The article also mentions Falun Gong's positive effect on practitioners' health. -

Radio Free Asia Reports on Lawlessness in Chinese Labour Camps
2007-01-25The Masanjia forced labour camp in Liaoning Province refused to provide to Mr Zhang Zhengtong, a Chinese student studying in Germany, any information about his wife Wang Xiaoyan who has been illegally detained there. At the coming of New Year, human rights groups in Germany are concerned with the situations of Wang Xiaoyan and Jiang Renzheng and demand the Chinese Communist regime to immediately stop persecuting them. -
Chamer Journal (Germany): Film about the persecution in China
2007-01-24The Falun Gong task force opened International Human Rights Day on Sunday December 10th, 2006 with the showing of a movie. First, Dr. Reinhold Kiehl, a member of the “World Organisation to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong” talked in detail about human rights violations in China. He also spoke of the suppression, persecution and genocide of Tibetans, the persecution of Christians, as well as of the suppression and persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party. -

Important Statement by EU Commissioner Broadcast on Radio Germany
2007-01-21On January 15th, 2007, Deutsche Welle (Radio Germany) broadcast an interview with Benita Ferrero-Waldner, the European Union Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighbourhood Policy. In the interview, Mrs. Ferrero-Waldner said, “China has to establish a suitable environment and atmosphere for human rights.” She added, “This includes many important steps. For example, China has to approve and implement the international conventions for civil and political rights. -

German Falun Gong Information Centre: Wife of Leipzig Resident Tortured in China
2007-01-09Leipzig (FDI) Zhang Zhentong, a thirty three year old information technology student from Leipzig, fears for the life of his wife Wang Xiaoyan. She has been suffering torture and abuse in a Chinese labour camp since July 2006, only because she practices Falun Gong. Chinese police confiscated her passport to prevent her and her daughter from immigrating to Germany. A letter smuggled out of the labour camp tells of her agony. -

Austrian Newspaper Reports a Lawsuit against the Perpetrators of the Persecution of Falun Gong
2007-01-01On December 16th, an Austrian newspaper carried a report from the Austrian Press Agency. The report said that a lawsuit against several chief perpetrators of the persecution of Falun Gong had been recently filed in Vienna. The report said that a lawsuit against Liu Qi has been filed to the Vienna Procuratorate. Liu is the president of the Beijing Olympic Games Organising Committee. The Austrian Falun Gong Association charged Liu and three other high ranking Chinese Communist Party officials with “Genocide and Crimes against Humanity.” -

2006-12-31"Vegesack: A German-Chinese human rights group attracted lots of attention last Saturday in the local outdoor shopping district. Activists were protesting against the forced removal of organs from political prisoners in China. The group had erected a cage surrounding Rosa Jansohn of Ritterhude in the vicinity of the former Kramer’s department store. They explained that similar cages are used in Chinese labour camps, where enclosed inmates are partially immersed in water for hours on end. If the prisoners get too sleepy, they are likely to drown." -
Radio Free Asia: The board of appeal fights for the rights of Falun Gong practitioners
2006-12-27In response to the detention and brutal treatment of Falun Gong practitioners, the Board of Appeals of the German Parliament has made a resolution urging the Germany Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Parliament to take effective measures to stop the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong practitioner Jiang Renzheng was sentenced to three years in a labour camp after he was deported by the German government which underestimated the risk of Jiang’s return to China. -
Radio Free Asia: A Husband Calls on German Society to Help Rescue his Detained Wife
2006-12-26Zhang Zhentong is an international student in Germany and his wife Wang Xiaoyan is being detained in the notorious Masanjia Labour Camp where she has been subject to brutal persecution. Zhang recently obtained evidence that his wife is being persecuted and thus called upon German society and government for help to rescue her. Zhang said, "Because she still refused go to give up her belief, to force her to write a letter denouncing Falun Gong, several male guards tied her to a “Death Bed”. The authority then had a doctor to force feed her with unknown drugs which damage the neurological system."
