Based on Belgium’s new law, six Falun Gong practitioners formally sued China’s former leader, Jiang Zemin, for his crimes against humanity. According to the report, the lawsuit will be formally submitted to the federal prosecutors on Wednesday. Georges-Henri Beauthier, a Belgian lawyer representing the plaintiffs, stated the defendant in the lawsuit is China’s military head, Jiang Zemin, who committed torture, crimes against humanity, and genocide. -

It is said in the case that Jiang’s crack down on Falun Gong violates the law of human rights in Belgium. According to the news report, one of the plaintiffs in the case, Matthias Slaats, told Reuters on Tuesday a number of Falun Gong members in countries including Belgium, the United States and Australia were filing similar lawsuits against Jiang Zemin for torture, crimes against humanity and genocide. -

Also, in France a complaint has been filed against Li Lanqing, who was visiting the country at the time. Li Lanqing is the second Vice-Prime Minister of China.
