• Jilin Police Interrogates and Tortures a Falun Gong Practitioner, Burning Her Fingers with a Cigarette Lighter

  On March 9th, 2006, I went to Jiuzhan, planning to distribute several copies of "The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party," but I was arrested before I distributed any copies. A few policemen dragged me to the Jiuzhan Police Station. After torturing me in various horrific ways, the police started a new torture. The three of them each used a cigarette lighter to burn my fingertips and toes. Seven of my fingertips were badly burned. My left big toe was burned badly. My fingernails turned black. To this day my fingertips have not healed. They continue to discharge pus and blood. The pain is unbearable, but at the time of the torture the pain was even worse. I felt I'd be better off dead.

• Persecution Put Me at Death's Door More Than Once

  I went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa, was arrested and sent to prison. There, several policemen put me in shackles and handcuffs that weighed about 30 to 40 pounds. I was handcuffed behind my back. The vicious policemen took off my shoes. They dragged me to the yard covered with cobblestones and forced me to walk circle after circle wearing only tights without shoes. When I had walked for several hours I really couldn't walk anymore. The handcuffs and shackles had cut deeply into the flesh and my skin had become a mixture of flesh and blood. In spite of this, they did not remove the handcuffs or shackles and kept them in place for six days. My feet were so injured that the bones showed through.

• Six Falun Dafa Practitioners from Yunnan Province, Hubei Province, Hebei Province and Other Locations Died Due to the Persecution

  Someone threatened 61-year-old Ms. He Weixian her in July 2001 for explaining the true situation of Falun Dafa. She decided later to leave home and go from place to place to avoid further persecution. On October 24th, 2002, Ms. He was sent to the Maojiashan Women's Forced Labour Camp in Chongqing City, where they injected her with toxic substances that harm the central nervous system. She was in constant pain since then. On October 13th, 2004 Ms. He was released to go home, but the persecutors kept harassing her. She died on April 24th, 2006.

• Ten Falun Dafa Practitioners From Yichun City and Tieli City, Heilongjiang Province Sentenced and Imprisoned

  At the end of September, 2005, the authorities in Tieli City arrested ten practitioners, who later were sentenced to imprisonment by the Tieli City Middle Court. According to a confirmed, reliable source, the authorities of Tieli City want to transfer the ten practitioners to another facility, and the practitioners have had blood drawn for blood typing tests. Due to the many publicly exposed cases of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners currently held in concentration camps by the Chinese Communist Party, this has caused many conscientious people to worry for the ten practitioners.

• Wang Qingfu Persecuted in the Jiutai Forced Labour Camp Until Incapable Of Walking

  Wang Qingfu, a Dafa practitioner, was sentenced to three years of forced labour. On April 20th, he was sent to Jiutai City Forced Labour Camp in Jilin, where he was persecuted so severely that he could not walk. His wrists showed deep scars made by handcuffs. The scars resulted from his being shackled to a bed with his arms and legs spread wide. On May 5th, Wang Qingfu started a hunger strike to protest the cruel persecution against him, and he was brutally force-fed. His family members worried about Mr. Wang's life and went to Jiutai Forced Labour Camp to request a visit with him, but the labour camp refused them.

• Practitioners Emaciated Due to Persecution at Masanjia Forced Labour Camp

  During the last ten days of February 2006, all the steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners detained in the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp were persecuted insanely for refusing to be "transformed." They were forced to wear the prison uniform, sit in a chair and call out numbers. They were abused with physical punishment, handcuffs, beating and scolding by the chief of the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp and other guards. Every practitioner persecuted was forced by three, four or more policemen to wear a uniform, and was beaten if he or she would not cooperate.

• Tortures Employed at Prisons in Jiamusi City and Harbin City: Pegs in the Fingers; Stabbed with Needles and Thrown into Ditches

  In 2001, persecutors at the Hegang Men's Labour Camp tortured Dafa practitioners by hammering toothpicks underneath the practitioners' nail beds and striking the fingernails with hammers. After each strike with the hammer, they would ask the practitioner if he agrees to write a statement renouncing Dafa. If the practitioner refused, the hammering would continue until all ten fingers were crushed. In 2004, male guards at Jiamusi Women's Labour Camp struck Dafa practitioners who refused to give up their belief with rubber-covered metal sticks and shocked the practitioners with electric batons.

• More Facts of the Persecution at the 2nd Division of the Jinzhou City Forced Labour Camp

  In the spring of 2004, Dafa practitioner Shao Minggang was arrested by the Jinzhou City State Security Bureau. After his arrest, policemen used lighters to burn his lower jaw. Then, Li Xiejiang, a policeman from the 610 Office, beat him badly. His face was disfigured as a result. When Mr. Shao was delivered to the labour camp, he started a hunger strike. Guards force-fed him. During the force-feeding, former deputy director Li Fenglin ordered guards to use a large quantity of salty water for the force-feeding.

• Practitioners Mr. Liang Runcheng and Mr. Liu Chengguo Are Severely Persecuted in Benxi City Forced Labour Camp

  In Benxi Forced Labour Camp Mr. Liang Runcheng was severely tortured for more than 20 days. Mr. Liu Chengguo started a hunger strike from the day of his arrest and now has been without food for 41 days. He is very weak. On January 3rd, 2006, when Mr. Liang distributed Falun Gong leaflets exposing the persecution, he was beaten up by four policemen and lost consciousness. He was sentenced to two years of forced labour. On March 13th, 2006, while practitioner Mr. Liu Chengguo was practising the Falun Gong exercises at his home the police came and arrested him. That same day a policemen punched Mr. Liu's face and head more than 50 times. Mr. Liu was sentenced to two years of forced labour.

• Ms. Yang Yuhua Dies from Abuse in Daqing Detention Centre

  Ms. Yang Yuhua started a hunger strike to protest the persecution after she was detained there. She shouted "Falun Dafa is good" every day. Police are very afraid of that. They used many methods to torture her, including torture chairs, force-feeding, cursing and beating. During the force-feeding, the prison doctor, Qi Hong hit her face and put the force-feeding tube through her nose several times to torture her. She endured great pain. The director of the detention centre threatened to use a metal feeding tube to force feed her. However, she died before that happened.

• Li Tiejun Dies as a Result of Torture at Chaoyanggou Labour Camp

  A group of officials and police broke into a practitioner's home on May 31st, 2004. They arrested 11 practitioners including Li Tiejun and his wife. Li Tiejun was sentenced to one year of forced labour. His elderly mother, his ailing father who had had a stroke and a 16-year-old child were left at home. He was forced to do hard labour with designated people monitoring him all the time. Due to the torment, Li Tiejun was devastated both mentally and physically. He became extremely weak. The authorities were afraid of being held responsible should he die in the labour camp so they told his family to pick him up. After returning home, Li never recovered. He passed away on March 17th, 2006.

• Three Practitioners from Hebei, Inner Mongolia and Shandong Provinces Pass Away as a Result of Persecution

  Mr. Yu Guolu, 61, went to Beijing to appeal against the persecution of Falun Dafa. In November 2003, he was sent to a brainwashing centre,during which time he developed high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes. While detained there, he was brutally tortured. He was once tied up for a week, and the staff pried open his mouth and force fed him with unknown drugs. As a result, his teeth were knocked out and his jaw broken. He wasn't allowed home until April 2004 until he was on the verge of death. In November 2005, local police again broke into his home to harass him, causing him to come close to mental collapse. On January 19th, 2006, he suddenly passed away.

• Warden at the Huairou Detention Centre Threatened to Send Me to Northwest China, Never to Come Back Again

  Over five years ago I was detained at the Huairou detention centre in Beijing. Because I would not tell them my name, the ward threatened to send me to northwest China and that I would never come home again if I refused to tell my name. Only now do I realise that this was not just a threat, it was for sure. None of the arrested practitioners would tell their names and addresses, since we knew from classified documents of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) that whenever a Falun Gong practitioner appealed, the spouse of the practitioner would be fired and fined 8000 to 10000 yuan, and from the officials in his/her workplace to the police department and police substation, all would be punished.

  64-year-old Mr. Lei Xiankang, a resident of Yongchuan City, Chongqing, lived in the fifth people's commune, sixteenth village, Chadian country. He was retired because of sickness and stayed home. After practising Falun Gong, he became healthy. He went to Beijing to appeal on July 5th, 2000. Since then, he has been missing. After his detainment, his family was often harassed, threatened and extorted. His wife lives alone and has a very difficult life.

• Many Practitioners Sentenced to Prison in Gansu Province

  After serving a one-year-long detention, several practitioners in Wuwei City, Gansu Province, were secretly sentenced to prison in March 2006. The "Sentencing Statements" were sent to the Liangzhou District Detention Centre at the end of March 2006. Ms. Zhang Wenjuan, 42, was sentenced to six years in prison. Up until now, five practitioners in Wuwei City have been tortured to death. There are still 26 practitioners being tortured in prisons, labour camps, and detention centres.
