French Falun Gong Information Centre Announces a Lawsuit for Crimes of Torture Against China’s Visiting Head

On May 5th 2005, the Chinese Minister of Commerce, Bo Xilai, notorious for torturing Falun Gong practitioners, paid a visit to Paris to attend the 2005 Sixth WTO Ministerial Conference held by OCDE and the 11th Sino-French Economic Seminar. Based on an investigative report from the World Organisation to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, Bo Xilai enthusiastically followed the former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin to persecute Falun Gong. Because of him, Dalian City and Liaoning province became places with the most brutal record of human rights abuses against Falun Gong practitioners in China. -
Italian Version of Zhuan Falun is Officially Published

Falun Gong was formally introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in 1992. The Chinese version of Zhuan Falun was first published in 1995 and listed among the top ten best sellers in China in 1996. To date, it has been translated into over thirty languages and helped more than one hundred million people improve their physical and mental health in over sixty countries. -
Germany: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution in Augsburg

Falun Gong practitioners in Augsburg held an activity to promote Falun Gong and tell people about the persecution happening in China. Practitioners in nearby cities also came to support this activity. They demonstrated the beauty of Falun Gong through photos, exercises, handouts, petitions and revealed the brutal methods of persecution used on practitioners in China. -
Hungary: First Anti-torture Exhibition in Budapest Draws Attention from the Public and the Media

A Chinese tourist from the U.S., having viewed the anti-torture exhibition, commented that she had visited many Falun Gong websites and that the CCP’s persecution is indeed outrageous. She remarked before leaving, “I admire your courage. China needs people like you to stand up and speak out. I Hope you will continue like this. I wish you success!” -
German Falun Gong Association: “Singapore should not be an accomplice of the Chinese dictatorship.”

Practitioners in Berlin held a protest in front of the Singapore Embassy. They demanded the Singapore regime to revise the judgement against two Falun Gong practitioners. Officials from the Singapore Embassy listened to the statement of the German Falun Gong Association and promised to relay the practitioners’ requests to the Singapore Government. -
France: Introducing Falun Gong in the Municipality of Le Moule Library in Guadeloupe

People were shocked and moved while looking at the photo display about Falun Gong and the human rights abuses waged against practitioners in Mainland China. They were moved by Falun Gong practitioners' compassion and spirit of perseverance and astonished at the severe persecution. Many people signed the petition to call for an end to the atrocities. -
Nordic Falun Gong Practitioners Support 1.3 Million People Quitting the CCP

Nordic Falun Gong practitioners participated alongside representatives from different rights organisations concerned about the situation in China in an appeal outside the Chinese Embassy and at Mynttorget in Stockholm. Germany: Seizing the Opportunity to Tell People about the Persecution of Falun Gong in China
2005-05-13We displayed the beauty of Falun Gong with photos of dancers in traditional Chinese costumes along with pictures from experience sharing conferences and large-scale group practices in China before the persecution began. We placed paper lotus flowers in many colours on our information table where we showed a video of Master Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Gong, demonstrating the exercises. The kind-hearted and harmonious atmosphere of Falun Gong could be felt everywhere. A stream of people constantly passed our information table. They gladly accepted our leaflets and often stopped to ask questions. -

Open Letter to the Singapore Consul in Austria

Unfortunately, Singapore's justice system is following China’s footsteps by punishing people for speaking the truth. We appeal for your help, to call upon the government of Singapore to reverse this decision and handle this case justly in accordance with the law. No government should sacrifice freedoms and liberty for the mere purpose of currying favour with the Communist regime in Beijing. Any short-term benefits such actions would reap are vastly overshadowed by the damage done to Singapore's rule of law, its reputation in the international community and the well-being of its people. -
Russia: Falun Gong is Popular at the Health City Expo in Moscow

Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises and performed traditional Chinese dancing. The organiser and audience gave the thumbs up sign to our performances. When the expo was closing, the Moscow City Administration awarded a proclamation to the Moscow Falun Gong Association, praising its active participation. -
Germany: Despite Terrible Weather, People Support Practitioners

Practitioners in Northern Germany organised an information day in downtown Hamburg to help local people understand the truth of Falun Gong and the persecution in China. Practitioners had painted and framed some pictures that were on display, depicting real torture scenes. Many passersby stopped at our stall, signed the petition and asked how they could help. -
Czech Republic: Touring Six Cities in Northern Moravia

From the 25th to the 30th of April, a group of practitioners from the Czech Republic toured six Moravian cities. They introduced Falun Gong and told the public about the vicious on-going persecution against the practice in China. Close to six hundred petition signatures were collected and around 30.000 leaflets were handed out.
