Many passers-by came to watch and learn the exercises. People were also interested in learning the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong by former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin and his faction. Practitioners told them that this persecution has gone on for five years and over 1,100 people have already lost their lives. -
Switzerland: Anti-Torture Exhibitions in Aarau and Winterthur Received Enthusiastic Public Support

Re-enactments of the torture methods and a poster display helped many people learn about the persecution against Falun Gong. Some people wanted to know how they can help the persecuted practitioners in China. They not only signed the petition enthusiastically but also came to take some blank petitions so that they could go and collect signatures themselves. -
Germany: Anti-Torture Exhibition Successfully held in Stuttgart

People raised many thoughtful questions and were able to understand Dafa very well. Many people learned the truth about Falun Dafa and the ongoing brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. A few hundred signatures were collected for our petition calling for the immediate end to the persecution and to bring the prime culprits to justice. -

There were always many people at our stand. People asked questions, voiced their opposition to the persecution in China and expressed their interest in learning the exercises for free at the practice site in the centre of Fribourg. Many people with an interest in spirituality told us that they felt the effects of the positive energy field around our stand. -

Many people are now realising the truth and want to help the suffering Falun Gong practitioners. -
France: Promoting Falun Dafa during the Experience Sharing Conference in Paris

During the 2004 French Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference, Dafa practitioners organised a series of activities including an appeal at the Chinese Embassy and activities to raise awareness about the persecution at the Eiffel Tower. Germany: Exposing the Persecution during Cham Falun Dafa Day

Visitors had a comprehensive understanding of what Falun Gong is and the persecution of Falun Gong happening in China from the picture exhibition. Nearly all visitors signed the petition and supported bringing the instigator of the persecution Jiang Zemin to justice. The reporters who came to report on this event also signed and expressed their support for Falun Gong. -
Ireland: Widespread Media Coverage as Irish Practitioners File a Criminal Complaint Against Huang Ju for Crimes of Torture

During Vice Premier of China Huang Ju’s visit to Ireland, Irish Falun Gong practitioners filed a criminal complaint against him for conspiring to commit torture. Over two days, news of the complaint was carried by all the major media organisations and the persecution of Falun Gong in China became the focus of the Irish news. While the legal case was developing, the main group of Falun Gong practitioners peacefully appealed outside venues where Huang Ju met Irish officials. -
Belgium: Appealing to Bring Jiang, Luo, Liu and Zhou to Justice

Practitioners from Belgium went to the Chinese Embassy and appealed to bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to justice. This appeal was also to express support for the lawsuit in Zambia against Su Rong, who is wanted by Zambian authorities for failing to appear in court after being charged with the murder of Falun Gong practitioners. -

On Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of November 20004, Falun Dafa practitioners from England and Scotland gathered in Newcastle and Sunderland to inform people about the persecution of Falun Dafa in China and to help them find out more about the practice. Over the two days nearly 800 signatures were collected. -
Denmark: Dafa Practitioners from Denmark and Sweden Appeal to bring Jiang, Luo, Liu and Zhou to Justice

On the afternoon of the 14th of November 2004, Falun Gong practitioners from Sweden and Denmark gathered outside the Chinese Embassy in Denmark to appeal to stop the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and bring the head criminal Jiang Zemin and his main followers Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to justice. -

After learning the truth of the persecution, people signed their names on a petition form to “Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice”. The former leader of China is the main instigator of the persecution against Falun Gong, so people were keen to support bringing him to justice in a court of law and holding him responsible for his crimes against humanity. -

On October the 23rd and 24th, the 2004 “Earth Day” activities were organised in Cham Town Hall. Local practitioners took part in this activity by demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises and distributing information to people about the campaign of genocide being waged against Falun Gong in China. -
Finland: Promoting Falun Gong in Koli

People arrived in an endless flow for the whole two days. They asked what Falun Gong is, why Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted in China and where they can learn the Falun Gong exercises. The occupant of the stall opposite couldn’t wait to ask us what Falun Gong was even before we finished setting up our stall. He made time to learn the exercises.
