Sweden: Falun Gong Participates in the Alternative Health Fair in Strömstad

On Saturday 10th, and Sunday 11th 2004, Falun Gong practitioners from Sweden and Norway took part in the Alternative Health Fair in Strömstad.On both days, practitioners held a one hour introduction course. On the second day, the course had to be extended for an extra hour, because of the amount of people who were eager to learn the exercises. -
United Kingdom: Anti-Torture Exhibition during Edinburgh Tattoo Draws Lots of Media and Public Attention

On the afternoon and evening of Friday the 6th of August, an anti-torture exhibition was held by Falun Gong practitioners in Edinburgh. This coincided with the world-renowned Edinburgh Military Tattoo event. The exhibition focused on a few of the hundreds of brutal torture methods used by the Jiang Regime to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in China. -
Spain: Peaceful Appeal and Candlelight Vigil at the Chinese Embassy

On the evening of July 23rd, Spanish Falun Gong practitioners once again gathered outside the Chinese Embassy to hold a candlelight vigil to commemorate those practitioners who have been persecuted to death in Mainland China for upholding the truth and persisting in their belief in Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. -
Greece : Lawsuit Filed Against Chief Persecutors of Falun Gong Practitioners
2004-08-06At approximately 11am on August the 5th 2004, a criminal lawsuit was filed in Greece against Jiang Zemin, Li Lanqing and Luo Gan for their Crimes of Torture. This was followed by a press conference in Athens to let the public know about this step towards bringing the chief persecutors of Falun Gong to justice. The press conference was attended by both Greek and international media, and featured 3 plaintiffs from this lawsuit as well as several experts in the field of law and human rights. -
Belgium: New Practitioners Meet in the Park to Practise Falun Gong Exercises and Study the Teachings Together

On July the 31st 2004, a meeting was organized for new practitioners in the city of Ghent. Over 20 practitioners, who all started Falun Gong recently, gathered in the park in the morning to practise the Falun Gong exercises together. After the practice, the group started reading the introductory text Falun Gong and discussed questions that came up during the reading. -
Ireland: Irish Falun Dafa Association Holds a Press Conference as Liu Feng Returns to Ireland

Irish Senator Mr. David Norris, the spokesman of Amnesty International in Ireland Mr. Jim Loughran, Deputy Mayor of Dublin City Mr. Andrew Montague, and South Dublin County Councillor Mrs. Ruth Coppinger attended the press conference and expressed their points of view. They have all actively taken part in the rescue efforts to release Liu Feng. -
United Kingdom: Practitioners Hold Anti-Torture Exhibitions in Edinburgh

On the 24th and 25th of July, British Falun Gong practitioners held a two-day live exhibition of simulating torture scenes in Edinburgh. After listening to practitioner’s tell them about the five-year campaign of genocide against Falun Gong in China, kind-hearted Scots were shocked! They could not believe that this brutal persecution is still happening in the 21st century. -
Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Attend a Multicultural Festival in Munich

On the 19th of July, Falun Gong practitioners took part in a multicultural festival, which was conducted by the Cultural Office of Munich City Hall. Dafa practitioners in Munich applied for a stall to display information about Falun Dafa and tell people about the five-year campaign of genocide against Falun Gong in China. -
Russia: Parade and Anti-Torture Exhibition in Moscow Calling for the End to the Persecution of Falun Gong

After holding a peaceful appeal at the Chinese Embassy on July the 20th, 2004, to mark five years of the Jiang regime’s persecution of Falun Gong, Dafa practitioners organised a parade in Moscow. The parade ended in the busiest Square where practitioners demonstrated Falun Gong exercises and held a live anti-torture exhibition as well as a poster display. -
Ireland: Liu Feng Successfully Rescued and Returned to Ireland

Falun Gong practitioner Liu Feng, who was studying in Ireland, has been successfully rescued and returned to Ireland. Liu Feng and his wife arrived in Dublin this week. On Thursday this week, a press conference will be held in Trinity College to inform and express thanks to all circles of society about Liu Feng’s return. -
Norway: Practitioners hold an Anti-Torture Exhibition and Receive Positive Media Coverage

On the 23rd and 24th of July 2004, practitioners from Norway, Sweden and Demark held a two-day exhibition of some of the torture methods that the Jiang Regime uses to force Falun Gong practitioners in China to give up their beliefs. The exhibition involved acting out these torture methods and took place at the Parliament buildings and the city centre. -
Belgium: Practitioners Hold Activities and Call on the Public to Help Bring an End to the Persecution

On July the 20th, Belgian practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy in Brussels to protest against the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners conducted by the Jiang group, and to commemorate practitioners persecuted to death. A practitioner read a declaration, pointing out that we had been confronting the persecution peacefully and rationally. -
UK: Practitioners Hold a Week-Long Anti-Torture Poster Exhibition in Cambridge

To mark the fifth anniversary of the Jiang regime’s persecution of Falun Gong, practitioners in Cambridge organised a week-long anti-torture poster exhibition entitled “Persecution Meets Principle” in a local library. On the Friday evening, practitioners held a candlelight vigil in the city centre to commemorate those who lost their lives in the Jiang regime’s persecution. -
Russia: Falun Gong Enters the Daily Life of the People of Pjatigorsk City

Since July 1999, Falun Gong practitioners have been cruelly persecuted in China and those who practise have bee tortured. However, the Chinese Government does not realise that today, after five years, Falun Gong has spread to every corner of the world, including our city Pjatigorsk in Russia. Falun Gong practitioners from Pjatigorsk held activities to raise awareness in a park on July the 22nd and 24th. -
France: People Express their Shock, Sadness and Deepest Sympathy

On July the 17th and 18th, French Falun Gong practitioners simulated torture scenes on the busiest street of Chinatown in Paris XIII District and the Champs de Mars to expose the Jiang regime’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, grassroots Chinese citizens who believe in Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.
