Explaining the Facts to the People of Geneva on the Rue Du Mont Blanc

On the 16th of March 2004, following the previous day's large-scale appeal outside the UN, at various locations it was arranged for groups of practitioners to practice the exercises, hand out leaflets and materials and display information about the persecution. One such location was on Rue Du Mont Blanc, a very busy street which runs between the main station and the lake. -

"These people are all genuine, they come from all around the world, because from their hearts they really want the leaders of the world to look at and position themselves in the right way regarding this persecution. It’s not just about a bunch of people in China who are being persecuted. The reason they are being persecuted is because they practise Truthfulness Compassion and Tolerance. We’re giving the international community the chance to stand up and say, “these three principles of Truthfulness Compassion and Tolerance, you can’t persecute them. Don’t do that”" -

Swedish Liberal Party: "We Are Eager to Understand More About Falun Gong!"

In the latter half of February 2004, a western Dafa practitioner received a phone call from the Swedish Liberal Party, inviting practitioners to join their meeting and introduce Falun Gong to them. A party representative said that they were very eager to understand more about Falun Gong and why it is being persecuted in China. -
Norway: Practitioners Introduce Falun Gong During the International Women’s Day Evening Banquet
2004-03-19When the banquet was over, the two of us went back in. We went to every table to collect any leftover leaflets, but we saw nothing. We had brought along over two hundred leaflets and it is great that people took them home to read carefully. We sincerely hope they can come to know the truth about Falun Dafa. That would be great for these people. -

Romania: Falun Gong Practitioner Successfully Holds a World Tour of her Art Exhibition

On International Women’s Day, Zhang Cuiying successfully held the opening ceremony of her painting exhibition world tour in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. This is the first time that Cuiying has managed to successfully hold a painting exhibition in Romania. One lady from the Romanian National Women’s Association smiled and thanked Cuiying for bringing such beautiful things to Romania. -

Geneva: Falun Gong Practitioners Appeal on the First Day of the United Nations Human Rights Commission Meeting

On Monday March the 15th 2004, the first day of the 60th annual United Nations Human Rights Commission meeting, more than five hundred Falun Gong practitioners arrived from more than 20 countries around the world. They wanted to appeal to the United Nations, governments and non-governmental organisations to help bring an end to the persecution of Falun Gong in China. -

Scotland: Personal Meetings with Human Rights Organizations to let them Know the Facts
2004-03-17As practitioners continue to make efforts to tell people about Dafa and the persecution, more people have come to understand the truth. However many people still have an impression of Dafa that appears correct but is actually wrong, whilst some even have misunderstandings. We have sent truth clarifying materials to various human rights organizations in Scotland but overall not much feedback was received. In order to clarify the truth further, Dafa practitioners in Scotland decided to meet various human rights organizations face to face. -

Large-Scale Activities in Geneva Bring the Hope of a Brighter Future to the 60th Anual United Nations Human Rights Congress

On Monday the 15th of March 2004, the 60th annual United Nations Human Rights Congress began in Geneva, Switzerland. Around 500 Falun Gong practitioners from countries all around the world gathered in Geneva, to us this opportunity to raise the profile of the persecution of Falun Gong in the international community, and to explain in more depth the nature of the persecution. -

After activities in Geneva on Saturday the 13th of March to let people know the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution in China, practitioners continued to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises and distribute leaflets by the lakeside in Geneva on Sunday the 14th of March.
