Germany: Practitioners in Hamburg Appeal at the Chinese Consulate and Call for Jiang to be Brought to Justice

German practitioners gathered at the Hamburg Chinese Consulate to appeal to the Chinese Government to bring Jiang Zemin, the prime culprit of the persecution against Falun Gong, to justice. They also appealed for an immediate end to the Jiang regime’s persecution of Falun Gong, which has lasted for over four years. -
Finland: Practitioners Appeal at the Chinese Embassy Demanding an End to the Persecution and that Jiang Zemin and his Cohorts be Brought to Justice

On the 16th of February 2004, Falun Dafa practitioners in Helsinki appealed at the Chinese Embassy, calling for an end to the Jiang regime’s persecution of Falun Gong. The practitioners also delivered a letter to the Chinese the Ambassador about the recent successful lawsuit against a Chinese Consular official in Canada. -

Leuven, a famous university city in Belgium, organised a health expo on the 14th of February 2004. This is the third year of the annual expo and it always receives good feedback and attracts many people. During this year’s expo, Falun Gong practitioners appeared dressed in traditional bright yellow exercise costumes. -
France: The French Falun Dafa Association held a Press Conference in Strasbourg

On February the 11th, the French Falun Dafa Association held a press conference to let the local media know about the behaviour of the French police and their irrational arrest and detention of practitioners on the streets of Paris. They appealed to the public to pay attention to this serious matter, which shows Jiang’s persecution extending to western society. -
Finland: Clarifying the Truth to the Media and People of Finland

The whole city supported the activities. Shops and other establishments in the city happily put up posters in their windows about Falun Dafa and the activities, as well as providing petitions against the persecution for people to sign. Three of the leading daily newspapers on the west coast reported about the events, as did two national radio stations. They were all very supportive and wrote extensively about Falun Dafa, as well as the persecution. -

Outside the parliament building, the practitioners’ appeal and exercise demonstration was peaceful and serene. Local media reporters were present and MEPs from different countries stopped to get more information from the practitioners. Lots of practitioners met MEPs from their own countries who said they would pay close attention to the recent incidents in France. -

European Practitioners Tell the Facts about Falun Gong to French Government Departments

Ireland: Falun Dafa Practitioners Appeal Outside the Chinese Embassy to Strongly Request to Bring Jiang, Luo, Liu and Zhou to Justice

It was learned that more Falun Gong practitioners were recently unlawfully arrested, tortured and even killed in China recently. On the afternoon of February the 13th, Falun Dafa practitioners from Ireland unfurled banners in front of the Chinese Embassy. They called upon people from all walks of life to jointly resist and expose the evildoings of those who persecute Falun Gong. -
UK: Teaching Falun Gong to Elderly People at a Sheltered Housing Scheme
2004-02-17I showed them the first exercise, explaining the purpose of this exercise as I practised. By the time I finished the demonstration they were ready to have a go themselves. Towards the end of the session, I told them that Falun Gong is based on the principles of ‘Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance’ and briefly explained how practitioners try to follow these principles in everyday life. They immediately said everyone should learn it and then there would be no war and the world would be peaceful. -

France: Explaining the Facts to Tourists, Police and Media in Front of the Sacre Coeur in Paris

In Paris on January 24th, during the Spring Festival, the French Falun Dafa Association obtained permission for a peaceful parade in front of the Sacre Coeur, one of the largest tourist attractions in Paris. When passers-by and tourists and the people of Paris, including the city’s police officers, learned the facts about this persecution, they all warmly showed their support and encouragement. -
Spanish Falun Gong Practitioners Deliver a Letter to the French Ambassador in Spain

France: Explaining the Facts to High Level French Officials in the Wake of Paris Arrests
2004-02-14On the 9th February, 2004, several representatives began the action of visiting high level French government officials. Smartly dressed, wearing yellow scarves, with a calm composure and upright thoughts, they came to the doors of the French Ministry of Domestic Affairs. At first the policemen said there was no time to meet them, then they began to make phone calls asking for instructions. After a while, a more senior official came to meet them. The practitioners expressed their views calmly but firmly. The atmosphere became more relaxed. Finally a high level official agreed to meet with the representatives from the European Falun Dafa Association. -
Germany: Appealing to the French Embassy, Consulates and German-French Friendship Associations in Germany
2004-02-14On the 1st of February, 2001, a press release was distributed to major media organisations in Germany by the German Falun Gong Information Centre. It stated that about fifty people wearing yellow clothing had been arrested in the Sino-French New Year celebration activities in Paris. Last week and this week, German Falun Gong practitioners who were arrested in Paris went to the French Embassy in Berlin and consulates in Munich, Frankfurt, Saarbruecken, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Hannover and Leipzig one after another to present appeal letters to the French officials and ask them to forward the letters to the French Government.
