France: Promoting Falun Gong in Lyon, the Second Largest City in France

French Falun Dafa practitioners ran a stall in the Lyon “Spring Call” Exhibition last weekend, from February the 20th to the 22nd. Lyon is the second largest city in France. Practitioners had the opportunity to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises and explain the ongoing persecution in China to approximately forty thousand people who visited the exhibition. -

France is a nation known for upholding freedom and justice. However, why were more than seventy Falun Gong practitioners, including two Swedes, detained during the Chinese leader’s visit to France? Only because they wore yellow clothing or scarves imprinted with the words “Falun Gong”. -
Germany: Letting More People Know the Facts at Karlsruhe University

During this period of time, what touched us most were the students’ attitudes. Many people looked at the display boards, signed a petition to support us, and even provided us with good advice on how to let more people know the truth. Some people returned the materials after lunch, told us that they’d read them already and these materials could be provided to others. Most Chinese people received the materials with a smile. Chinese people who had doubts and didn’t take the materials earlier on, now stood in front of our stall seeking to learn the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong in China. -
Ireland: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Peaceful Appeal Outside the Conference Hall for the European Union-China Human Rights Dialogue

The European Union Human Rights Dialogue with China drew attention from every major human rights organisation. Falun Gong practitioners in Ireland held a peaceful appeal outside the conference hall in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They appealed for Jiang's regime to free two practitioners, Liu Feng and Yang Fang, who are not allowed to leave China and return to their studies in Ireland. -
France: Celebrating Falun Dafa Day in the Metropolitan Region of Paris

February the 28th 2004 was the third Falun Dafa Day in Fontenay-sous-Bois, a historically prestigious city just outside Paris. Local Falun Gong practitioners and others from Paris itself gathered in front of the City Hall to celebrate and show people the beauty of Falun Dafa and traditional Chinese culture. -

Latvian Media Reported on Falun Gong Practitioners’ Appeal Outside the Chinese Embassy in Riga
2004-03-01Recently, more than twenty more Falun Gong practitioners were persecuted to death by the Jiang regime within one month, bringing the total number of verified deaths to 896. On Saturday, practitioners from Riga, the capital of Latvia, gathered near the Chinese Embassy to expose the illegal actions of the Jiang regime and call for the culprits to be brought to justice. -

According to reports from the Falun Dafa Information centre there has been a recent escalation of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Around the country, many practitioners have recently been arrested and tortured. On February the 21st 2004, a practitioner from the middle of Finland held a Falun Gong exercise class. Most of the participants were glad to learn about Falun Dafa for the very first time. As well as learning the five sets of peaceful and energising exercises, the class attendees heard about the brutal campaign of Genocide that Jiang Zemin launched against Falun Gong practitioners in China. -
Belgium: Embassy Appeal Following Rise in Death Toll Demands Jiang Zemin and his Cohorts are Brought to Justice
2004-02-27Between November 2003 and January 2004, reliable sources in China reported details of sixty four Falun Gong practitioners who died from severe torture in Chinese detention centres and labour camps. Falun Gong practitioners held a peaceful protest outside the Chinese Embassy in Belgium, calling for Jiang Zemin, the main villain responsible for genocide against Falun Gong in China, and his accomplices Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang, to be brought to justice.
