UK: Practitioners Show Dafa TV Programmes During the Cambridge Chinese New Year Gala

On January the 16th, UK and Cambridge Chinese Student together with the Scholar’s Associations organised a 2004 Spring Festive Gala. Over 1300 people attended the show. Falun Gong practitioners also joined in the celebrations, and displayed Dafa programmes on a colour TV near the entrance. This added to the festive spirit of the activities. -
The Rescue Xiong Wei Team is Thankful To Everyone After Securing the Release of Xiong Wei

Without this help, practitioners could not have attracted the attention of the media and politicians to Xiong Wei’s situation. It is a pity that practitioners have no information about her current situation and environment. It is worrying that Xiong Wei and her parents are still under surveillance by the police. -
UK: Letting Local Chinese People Know the Truth about Dafa in the Town of Hove
2004-01-19On Sunday the 18th of January 2004, Falun Gong practitioners held a display of the 5 sets of Falun Gong exercises outside Hove Town Hall in East Sussex. The local Chinese Association was hosting an Educational and Cultural event at Hove Town Hall. This was part of the celebrations for the Chinese New Year and many Chinese people were there to help set up the event for many local Chinese people and businesses who were invited. All received flyers, Video-CDs and newsletters and some students sat by the practitioners who were meditating to have their pictures taken by their friends. -
UK: Symbolic Play Brings Jiang To Justice in London’s Trafalgar Square

UK Falun Gong practitioners performed a play with the theme of bringing Jiang Zemin, the instigator of the persecution against Falun Gong that has claimed over 860 lives, to justice. Held in London's Trafalgar Square, the play, written by practitioners, symbolically tried Jiang Zemin for his crimes against humanity in this persecution. -
“World Organisation to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong” is Collecting Evidence for the German Lawsuit
2004-01-18On the 18th of December 2003, based on these findings, the World Organisation to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) officially announced a detailed investigation of nine government officials responsible for the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in Liaoning Province. After further examination and verification of the facts, they will hand over all the evidence to the top Procurator in Germany, the International Court of Justice, Human Rights Organisations and every country’s government. They will sue and expose the illegal activities of these Chinese officials in their persecution of Falun Gong. -

The children in the intermediate class learned how to make paper lotus flowers and other art skills from the art teacher. They also read Hong Yin. When the children were doing the exercises, they were very careful and always helped each other to ensure that everyone’s exercises were correct. To mourn Liu Chengchun’s death and to protest against Jiang’s persecution of Falun Gong, Dafa practitioners from several cities in Latvia gathered at the Chinese Embassy in Riga city to peacefully appeal. Practitioners called for the wicked people that are responsible for the persecution to be severely punished. -

Ireland: Rescuing Tsinghua Graduates
2004-01-16Since Jiang Zemin persecuted Falun Gong and Falun Gong practitioners in July 1999, intellectuals, who are usually treated as the foundations of a country,have found themselves unable to escape suppression and abuse. Innumerable students, teachers and employers in the institutes of higher education have been suspended from their jobs or studies to be brainwashed or sentenced to labour camps, or even became destitute and homeless. -

From January 2nd to the 9th, 2004, Italian Falun Gong practitioners appealed outside the Chinese Consulate in Milan and mourned the death of Changchun Falun Gong practitioner Liu Chengjun. Liu died on December the 26th 2003 after being viciously tortured and abused by police officers following orders from the Jiang regime. -

Austria: In Mourning for Fellow Practitioner Liu Chengjun

Dafa practitioners in Austria gathered at the Chinese Embassy on January 6th to mourn the death of fellow practitioner Liu Chengjun. They appealed for the arrest and severe punishment of his murderers. The brutal killing of Liu Chengjun indicates the vicious and callous nature of the persecution in China and shows that the evildoers are scared that their crimes will be exposed. -
Latvia: Peaceful Appeal at The Chinese Embassy in Riga
2004-01-14On Christmas evening 2003, Liu Chengjun, a Falun Gong practitioner who was brutally tortured in a labour camp, died at the Sino-Japanese Friendship Hospital in the Chinese city of Changchun. Liu’s name was on Amnesty International's Urgent Rescue list. Dafa practitioners from several cities in Latvia gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy in Riga to peacefully appeal and call upon society to severely punish the wicked people who persecute Falun Gong practitioners. -
UK: Practitioners Study the Fa and Practise Exercises Together during the New Year Holidays

During the Christmas and New Year holidays, UK practitioners held a retreat in London. After Fa study, practitioners shared their experiences and understandings about cultivation during Fa-rectification. Some practitioners gave specific accounts of their situation and understanding about cultivating themselves, sending forth righteous thoughts and validating the Fa.
