Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Write to MPs Asking for Help to end the Persecution of Falun Gong
2005-11-13"To avoid domestic criticism and international condemnation against the persecution, recently the Chinese Communist regime has taken a softer approach against Falun Gong in the mass media. Though the recent taciturn has replaced intensive attacks in the past, the momentum of the persecution against Falun Gong has never abated whatsoever. Bo Xilai Sued in Spain for Genocide
2005-11-12On November 8th 2005, 15 practitioners who were persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for their practice of Falun Gong have retained lawyer Carlos Iglesias to file a suit against Chinese Commerce Minister Bo Xilai in Madrid's High Court. Bo is charged with committing the crimes of genocide and torture during the persecution of Falun Gong. -
Germany: German and French Practitioners Urge the German President to Tell Hu Jintao: Falun Gong is Good
2005-11-12On November 10th, Hu Jintao arrived in Berlin on a four day visit. German President Horst Koehler met Hu and his delegation at Schloss Charlottenburg. Before the meeting, President Koehler got off his vehicle and talked with groups holding appeals outside the building. A practitioner asked the President to tell Hu: Falun Gong is Good! -
Belgium: Practitioners Hold a Press Conference to Update the Progress of the Lawsuit against the 610 Office
2005-11-11On October 21st, Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference with famous Belgian human rights lawyer, George Henri Beauthier, who gave a status report on Falun Gong practitioners’ lawsuit against the “610 Office” on charges of telephone harassment. Hao Fenjun, the former 610 officer who has defected from the CCP, attended the conference. -
United Kingdom: Practitioners Call for an End to the Persecution as Hu Jintao Visits England
2005-11-09Falun Gong practitioners from the UK and Europe appealed near London’s Buckingham Palace to call on Hu Jintao to stop the persecution of Falun Gong. They held banners worded, "Bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to Justice", "Hu Jintao, the time that Heaven and the people give to you is limited" and "Stop the persecution of Falun Gong." -

United Kingdom: Falun Gong Practitioners Appeal Outside the Chinese Embassy In London for an End to the Persecution
2005-11-08With the arrival of Chinese Premier Hu Jintao looming, Falun Gong practitioners are making the most of his visit by staging various forms of appeal throughout London. One such activity was a rally held outside the Chinese Embassy on the 7th of November, 2005. During the peaceful appeal, speeches were made opposite the Embassy, urging the Chinese regime to stop the persecution, while practitioners distributed information to passersby. -

Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Raise Awareness about the Persecution in Nurnberg during the Fields of Shame Exhibition
2005-11-06Falun Gong practitioners were invited to the exhibition Fields of Shame which was held from October 15th to 17th in Nurnberg. They informed visitors about the continuing persecution of practitioners in China. The exhibition can be viewed in various German cities until December 10th, International Human Rights Day. -
Ukraine: Anti-Torture Exhibition held at the Chinese Consulate in Support of “The Global Coalition to Bring Jiang to Justice” Launched in Sydney
2005-11-06On October 19th, a local rally in front of the Chinese Consulate in Sydney marked the launch of “The Global Coalition to Bring Jiang to Justice” in Australia. To support The Coalition, on the afternoon of October 25th Ukrainian practitioners held a peaceful rally outside the Chinese Consulate in the Ukrainian capital Kiev. -
Sweden: Folding a Thousand Paper Lotus Flowers
2005-11-05A six year-old girl exercising in the rain. She says, "My mum and I are doing exercises in front of the Chinese Embassy. The persecution has been going on for six years and it is not good. My best friend, Fadu’s father was killed by those wicked police in China. I would be heartbroken if I couldn’t see my father. I hope the persecution ends immediately.” -
United Kingdom: Practitioners Take the Opportunity of CCP leader’s Visit to Raise Awareness of the Persecution
2005-11-04Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Hu Jintao is going to visit the UK next week. UK Falun Gong practitioners are using his visit as an opportunity to raise awareness about the CCP’s human rights abuses against Falun Gong to the British society. In the past few days, practitioners from London and outside London have gathered in the capital city to hold an anti-torture exhibition, collect petition signatures and giving out flyers promoting Falun Gong and exposing the CCP’s campaign of genocide against Falun Gong. -
UK Falun Gong Association Requests Government to Bar the Entry of Bo Xilai
2005-11-03The UK Falun Gong Association has requested the UK Home Office to bar entry to Bo Xilai. Bo Xilai is a high-ranking member of the Chinese Communist Party who is guilty of crimes against humanity, genocide and the use of torture against Falun Gong practitioners in China. Such crimes are illegal under international law in accordance with the UN Conventions on Torture and Genocide and are crimes under Section 86 of the UK Criminal Justice Act of 1988.
