Hungary: Activities Raise Persecution Awareness
2009-04-20On April 11th, 2009, practitioners gathered in Budapest for activities in front of the Chinese Embassy and in the downtown area to raise awareness of the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong, and to appeal for an end to the persecution. The demonstration attracted many people to read practitioners' information posters and take photos. -
France: Call for Justice from Human Right Square in Paris
2009-04-19On March 14th, 2009, many Falun Gong practitioners, local people and tourists from all over the world, gathered in Paris’s Human Rights Square to raise awareness of the CCP’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong. In addition they celebrated the 51 million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party and its related organizations. -
Sweden: Health Exhibition in Skovde
2009-04-17Skovde city holds a health exhibition every year. Falun Gong practitioners were invited to attend this year's exhibition from April 4th-5th and became the bright focus of visitors there. People came to the Falun Gong practitioners' exhibition table in an endless stream and many stopped to watch the exercise demonstration, take materials, and talk with practitioners. -
Switzerland: Falun Gong Practitioners Attended Lausanne Health Exhibition
2009-04-13From March 26th to 29th, 2009, the biggest natural medicine, health protection exhibition in Switzerland was held in Lausanne. Falun Gong practitioners from Geneva and Lausanne attended this exhibition. The practitioners' exhibition booth enabled more people to understand the story of Falun Gong. -

Exposing the Chinese Communist Party's Persecution of Falun Gong During the United Nations Human Rights Council
2009-03-20The tenth regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council is held this month in Geneva. The Falun Gong Human Rights Working Group invited Falun Gong practitioners who had suffered from the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution to expose the brutal persecution to government officials and human rights organizations during the session. -

Chinese in Germany: "I felt the power of compassion"
2009-03-15After seeing the performances, Yao Tong, a student from mainland China who studies engineering in Germany, sighed, "I am very moved! What all these performances are manifesting is the Chinese traditional culture. At the same time, they are really demonstrating Falun Gong's principles of cultivation, which is stirring." He said that he was moved by the power of compassion from these performances, "Because what they (artists from Shen Yun) represent is compassion with a just state of mind. -
London: Distinguished Guests Applaud Divine Performing Arts
2009-03-14One of the distinguished guests was Lord Pendry--better known as Tom Pendry MP--a former boxing champion. When a reporter asked him what he thought of the show, he replied, "First of all it was very spectacular. ... It was a very professional, spectacular show, and it was very moving. "There is a philosophical message here, isn't there? And also is it a question of human rights? I hope I got that from the show, because I certainly believe in that.
