  • Germany: Practitioners Raise Awareness about Falun Gong and Expose the CCP’s Persecution before China Week

    On September 6th, before China Week was held in Hamburg, Falun Gong practitioners held an 'information day' in Spitalestrasse to introduce Falun Gong and expose the CCP’s nine year long persecution of Falun Gong in China. Re-enactments of the CCP’s organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners were set up beside practitioners' booth.
  • Finland: Supporting Millions of Withdrawals from the Evil Chinese Communist Party

    On September 13th, 2008, the Northern European Service Centre for Quitting the CCP and Falun Gong practitioners in Finland held an activity near Helsinki train station to support the 42 million people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), as well as to further expose the evil CCP’s atrocious crimes.

  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Peacefully Protest During the Hamburg Summit

    Falun Gong practitioners in Hamburg protested against the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce during the opening of the Hamburg Summit on September 10th. It was reported that the Chinese Vice-Prime Premier Zhang Dejiang attended the opening reception of the summit.
  • Spain: New Tang Dynasty Television Press Conference Related to Eutelsat Situation

    On September 9th, New Tang Dynasty Division in Barcelona Spain held a press conference. Several agencies attended and spoke in support of the NTDTV, the only Chinese media independent of CCP control.
  • Sweden: Quitting the CCP at the Service Centre in Stockholm

    At Mynttorg Square in Stockholm, Swedish practitioners set up a Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Service Centre and they come here every weekend to help Chinese tourists quit the evil party. On August 30th as the practitioners had just finished setting up, a Chinese woman came and looked at the posters.

  • Sweden: "Quitting the Chinese Communist Party" Campaign in Mynttorg, Stockholm

    On August 30th, in Stockholm's financial district, Swedish Falun Gong practitioners placed banners reading "Northern European Quitting the CCP Centre", as well as display boards exposing the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong. A middle-aged woman from China on a business trip stood in front of the display boards watching for a long time.
  • Finland: More Activities from Falun Gong Practitioners at Helsinki Cultural Festival

    Subsequent to the cultural night held on August 22nd at Esplanade Park, a cultural atmosphere continued to grow in the park. On August 30th, prior to the end of the Cultural Festival, Falun Gong practitioners in Helsinki again demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and raised awareness about the CCP's nine years of atrocious persecution.

    On July 9th, in the parliament building in Strasbourg, the European Parliament held a plenary session, to discuss the situation of the Olympic Games in China and post-quake, many representatives of the European parliament and member of the European Parliament strongly condemned continuing human rights violations in Communist China.
  • Russia: Introduce Falun Gong at the Moscow City Festival

    Local Falun Gong practitioners participated in the Moscow City Festival to raise awareness about Falun Gong and their participation was well received. Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises, performed traditional-style Chinese dances and played waist-drums.
  • France: Petition at Eutelsat’s Offices in Paris

    On the 6th of August 2008, representatives of New Tang Dynasty TV (NTDTV) and supporters held a press conference in front of the headquarters of Eutelsat’s Offices in the 15th district of Paris. Eutelsat was called upon to immediately restore NTDTV’s broadcasting signals to China and Asia.
  • Member of the European Parliament Requests Action from the EU over the Eutelsat Incident

    The first Plenary Session of the European Parliament was convened in Brussels from the 1st to the 4th of September after its summer recess. Continuous concerns were expressed by the European Parliament Members over the incident of shutting down NTDTV television broadcast signals into Asia by Eutelsat. Mr. Bart Staes, MEP from the Green Party of Belgium, accepted an interview.
  • France: French Falun Dafa Holds a Press Conference in Paris

    On August 19th, the French Falun Dafa Association held a press conference in Paris to expose the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s persecution of Falun Gong in China. Several VIPs attended and gave speeches of support. The event was covered by various media, including the Paris People newspaper.
  • Open letter to CEO of Eutelsat Communications from 11 Organisations

    "As China’s repression becomes more widely known and more widely condemned, as our children ask us what we did about Communism’s violence, oppression, and inexorable ascendancy, we hope that Eutelsat will be remembered well. For the sake of so many suppressed Chinese people, we hope that they may access truth, rather than propaganda. We hope that Eutelsat will play its part, not kowtow to Communism, not be complicit in the suppression of truth, freedom, and human rights, and resume NTDTV’s signals immediately."
