  • Senior Chinese Communist Party Official Wu Guanzheng Sued for his Involvement in Persecuting Falun Gong

    On the morning of April 17th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners filed a lawsuit against Wu Guanzheng for the crimes of genocide and torture. Wu, a member of the Standing Committee of China’s Communist Party Politburo and Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Chinese Communist Party, is currently visiting Spain. Wu Guanzheng was the Party Chief of Shandong Province between 1997 and November 2002. During this period, Wu was directly involved in carrying out Jiang Zemin’s order to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Austria: Commemorating the April 25th Appeal

    On April 25th, 2007, Austrian Falun Gong practitioners held a candlelight vigil at the Chinese Consulate in Vienna to commemorate the peaceful appeal by ten thousand people eight years ago in Beijing. They had come to request the release of arrested Falun Gong practitioners. At that time, the Chinese Premier had a conversation with representatives of the practitioners and the problem seemed resolved. Then Falun Gong practitioners dispersed peacefully and quietly.
  • Ukraine: Raising Awareness of the Persecution of Falun Gong Throughout the Country

    In order for more Ukrainians to learn about Falun Gong and the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, practitioners in Ukraine hold activities almost every weekend in cities large and small throughout the country. On April 21st, 2007, they visited a small town in the eastern part of Ukraine, Severodonetsk.
  • Holland: European Celestial Band Leads the Way During an Annual Parade

    On April 21st, 2007, the 60th 'Great Flower Vehicle Parade' was held in Holland, with this year's theme being ‘‘Joyful Celebration’’. The 'Celestial Band', a marching band consisting of European Falun Gong practitioners, walked at the front of the parade, leading the way with a piece of music specially composed by Falun Gong practitioners. Forty vehicles took part in the whole parade, and they proceeded slowly to warm applause from the gathered crowds.
  • Norway: "Freedom of Speech in China" Seminar Held in Stavanger

    The Chinese regime has officially denied the recent disclosure about organ harvesting and says that "nobody will believe this absurd lie". The Nazis also claimed the same about their camps. In 1943 a Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in the US refused to believe information from a polish diplomat about the Holocaust, saying: "I did not say that the young man lies. I said I was unable to believe what he told. There is a difference."
  • France: Presidential Candidate's Concern for Falun Gong Practitioner’s Situation

    In her reply to the Chairman of the French Falun Gong Association, Ms. Ségolène Royal, the French Socialist Party candidate for president, expresses her sympathy for Ma Jian, general manager of a French company and Falun Gong practitioner who was illegally arrested and is being persecuted in China, and promised to try her best to urge China to respect human rights.
  • Germany: Raising Awareness in Hannover about Falun Gong and the Persecution

    When an international computer exhibition was held in Altstadt, Hannover, Falun Gong practitioners held activities to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the persecution taking place in China. Practitioners distributed materials in various languages to help people understand what Falun Gong is, and how it has spread all over the world.
  • Germany’s Ruling Party Urges China to Allow International Organizations to Investigate Allegations of Trading in Human Organs

    Germany’s ruling Christian Democrats Union (CDU) called on the Chinese communist regime to allow independent international organisations to conduct an investigation into allegations of trading human organs. The statement pointed out that the Chinese Communist regime has long been criticised for harvesting organs from criminals awaiting execution without consent. What’s more, it even persecuted Falun Gong practitioners by means of harvesting their organs when they were still alive.
  • Austrian Falun Gong Practitioners: "My experience applying for refugee status in Austria"

    On March 10th, when I again went to the Embassy for my passport, the reply was, “According to the related regulation, we can not extend your passport, because your actions have endangered the safety of China". “Is it because I practice Falun Gong?” I asked. “Yes, that is right", he answered. I thought, “How can a group of people who cultivate according to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance threaten others and their own country?”
  • Belgium: Protest against the Russian Government for Deporting Ma Hui and her Daughter to China

    Falun Gong practitioners held activities at the Russian Embassy to Belgium to protest against the Russian government’s illegal deportation of Falun Gong practitioner Ma Hui and her daughter, which has aided the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in its persecution of Falun Gong.
  • Germany: German Parliament Human Rights Committee Holds a Hearing of Witnesses’ Accusations

    In a reply to Falun Gong practitioners’ letter, the German Christian Democratic Federation Parliament party and the corps of human rights issues spokesperson Ms. Steinbach mentioned that on March 29th, 2007, two Canadian independent investigators and a few members of the International Human Rights Committee held a hearing of witnesses in the German Parliament, the persons who are in charge of the German Parliament Human Rights Committee are very worried about the fact that living Falun Gong practitioners are selected for the removal of their organs.
  • Italy: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest against the Russian Authorities’ Deportation of Ma Hui

    Some Italian Falun Gong practitioners held a protest at the Russian Embassy in Rome and Russian Consulate in Milan on the 3rd and 5th of April, in protest against the Russian authorities’ deportation of Falun Gong practitioner Ma Hui and her daughter. They urged the Russian authorities to urgently take action to correct their mistake.
  • Germany: People of Munich Support the Withdrawals from the CCP

    "Withdraw from the CCP! Quickly withdraw from the CCP! Quickly withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party Youth League! Withdraw from the Red Guard!" Calls to “Withdraw from the CCP” echoed through St. Maria Square in Munich on April 14th. Chinese and Western tourists alike were attracted by the sound.
  • Russia: Falun Gong Practitioners Rally in Saint Petersburg

    Recently, bowing to the Chinese Communist regime’s pressure and temptation, the Russian government has repeatedly did something wrong in dealing with Falun Gong issues. Russia is a country that has just got out of the Communist Party’s rule. However, at this historic juncture, the head of the government has sought immediate interest at the expense of justice and conscience. They were even led by nose by the evil spectre of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Which direction is Russia heading for? What kind of future will the Russian nation have?
  • United Kingdom: VIPs and Media Call for Wenjian Liang to be Released

    Wenjian Liang and her husband Zhiyong Lin were taken from their home in February together with six other Falun Gong practitioners. They were sentenced to two years in a labour camp without trial in March. Amnesty International issued an urgent action call about their case on March 20th. In the UK, the Liberal Democrat Party Spokesperson on Foreign Affairs and Shadow Foreign Secretary gave his moral and active support to the free Wenjian campaign.
