  • Germany: Reflecting on the International Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance Art Exhibition in Dresden

    It has been four weeks since the opening ceremony of the International Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance Art Exhibition took place in the citizen’s hall of the Saxon Parliament in Dresden. This exhibition drew the attention of many people. Visitors have been deeply touched by the deep inner meanings they see in the pictures, but they were shocked when they heard of the brutal persecution against the peaceful Falun Gong practitioners, a persecution that has been perpetrated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for eight years.

    My name is Xinxia Jiang. I have been practicing Falun Gong since 1994. On 21st of July 1999, I went to Beijing with some of my fellow practitioners to appeal to the central government to lift the ban on Falun Gong. Police arrested all of us. I was sent back to the school in Shanghai where I worked as a fine arts teacher. Once back, I was locked up in a small classroom and was not allowed to see anyone for over a month. During which time, five to six policemen took turns interrogating me everyday.
  • MP’s Statement from London Activities to Commemorate April 25th: “I join the people here today condemning the persecution of Falun Gong”

    The statement here by UK Member of Parliament Mark Hunter was read at a press conference opposite the Chinese Embassy in London on Saturday April 28th, 2007. The press conference was the start of a day of activities to commemorate April 25th 1999 when Falun Gong practitioners in China appealed to the government to release fellow practitioners who were wrongfully imprisoned. This appeal was used by members of the Chinese Communist Party as an excuse to publicly launch the persecution against Falun Gong, which had previously been happening clandestinely.
  • Holland: European Celestial Band Well Received in Amsterdam

    On April 21st, 2007, the European Celestial Band was invited to join the 60th Flower Parade and also took part in a big parade and assembly organised by the local Withdrawing from the CCP Centre in Hague. The second parade celebrated the twenty million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the CCP and its related organisations.
  • Speech Given by European Friends of Falun Gong to Commemorate the April 25th Appeal in Beijing

    "Today marks the eighth anniversary of the day when 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners spontaneously gathered at Zhongnanhai in Beijing to appeal peacefully to the Chinese government to release practitioners who had been arrested in Tianjin. Since then the Chinese government has been responsible for the worst series of organised persecution ever perpetrated in the history of mankind. Over 3,000 practitioners have been tortured to death in prisons and labour camps across China, while thousands more have been subjected to a horrific variety of abuse and torture with little hope of freedom or justice."

    After the CCP's trade in organs taken from living Falun Gong practitioners was exposed in the media, many kind Swedish people were shocked and condemned this atrocity.   • Ireland: Commemorating April 25th, 1999

    On the 25th of April 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Ireland held a protest at the Chinese Embassy to Ireland. They commemorated the 25th of April 1999, when ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners in China peacefully appealed at the Beijing Bureau of Complaint. Practitioners in Ireland protested against the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) eight years of brutal persecution, raised awareness about the peaceful appeal on the 25th of April 1999 and exposed organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners, which is taking place today.
  • Ukraine: Falun Gong Practitioners Commemorate April 25th 1999

    On April 25th, Ukrainian Falun Gong practitioners held a candlelight vigil at the Chinese Embassy in Kyiv to commemorate the 1999 appeal n Beijing and to protest against the brutal persecution of the practice. The practitioners strongly called on the world to take action to end the CCP’s genocide of Falun Gong.
  • Spain: Spanish Practitioners Rally at the Chinese Embassy to Commemorate the April 25th 1999 Appeal

    On April 25th eight years ago, over 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners peacefully appealed to the Chinese State Council’s Appeal Office in Beijing, requesting the Chinese Communist government to release the Falun Gong practitioners who had been illegally arrested in Tianjin and to allow Falun Gong practitioners to practice the Falun Gong exercises in public places.
  • Denmark: Falun Gong Practitioners Commemorate the April 25th Appeal in Front of the Chinese Embassy

    On April 25th eight years ago, over ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners went to the State Council Appeals Office in Beijing, to appeal to the state leaders about interference and unfair treatment of practitioners by the Public Security Bureau in Tianjin.
  • Holland: Rallies Held in Two Cities in Holland to Support the 20 Million Withdrawals from the CCP

    On April 21st and 22nd, over ten human rights organizations including the Epoch Times and the Service Center for Quitting the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) held large scale activities supporting the 20 million brave people who quit the CCP and its associated organizations. The theme of the event was "The evil CCP has been uprooted."
  • Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung (Germany): “Unfortunately the conclusion indicates that the allegations are true”

    On April 5th, the daily newspaper “Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung” in northern Baden Württemberg carried a special report on the Chinese Communist regime’s systematic harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, with the headline “Harvesting Organs is Lucrative in China.”
  • United Kingdom: To Mark April 25th, UK Falun Gong Practitioners Appeal at the Chinese Embassy in London for an End to the Persecution

    April 25th, 2007, is the eight anniversary of the April 25th Appeal in Beijing. UK Falun Gong practitioners held a protest activity at the Chinese Embassy in London and a candlelight vigil to mourn the mainland China practitioners who have been persecuted to death by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Practitioners called for an end to the persecution.
  • Italy: To Commemorate the Beijing April 25th Appeal, Italian Falun Gong Practitioners Hold a Peaceful Protest at the Chinese Consulate

    On April 25th, Italian Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the Chinese Consulate in Milan to protest against the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong and mark the special day “April 25th”. Over the past seven years there have always been Falun Gong practitioners here raising awareness of the persecution.
