  • Russia: Practitioners submit an open letter to the Argentinean Embassy

    "On the 14th of December 2005, Falun Gong practitioners were assaulted by criminals organised by the Chinese Communist Party while protesting in front of the Argentinean Congress. Banners, exhibition boards about the truth and personal items of the practitioners were snatched away. Argentinean people who wanted to stop the violence were also injured. However, the police present refused to stop such an incident of violence."

    "Has China shown any tendency to ease its human rights abuses? The western governments presumed that their routine talks with China could help improve the situation.   • Letter from the Swedish Falun Dafa Association to the Argentinian Ambassador in Stockholm

    "On Wednesday the 14th of December 2005 agents from the Chinese delegation assaulted Falun Gong practitioners who were peacefully protesting against human right violations in China, outside the National Congress in Buenos Aires, during the visit of Chinese official Luo Gan. The local time was between 11.00 – 11.30 am. First hand witness reports said that the Chinese assailants violently punched and kicked Falun Gong practitioner, and robbed them of their banners, fliers, cameras and cell phones."
  • Falun Gong Practitioner's Painting "Homeless" Draws Attention from German Newspaper

    The theme of the most recent edition of the “Donau Strudl”, a street magazine from Regensburg, was “Homelessness”. The chief editor adopted Falun Gong practitioner’s painting “Homeless” from the International Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance Fine Art Exhibition and expressed sympathy and concern towards the innocent Falun Gong practitioners and their relatives who have been made homeless by the persecution.
  • Finland: Telling the Finnish People about the CCP's Abuse of Human Rights on International Human Rights Day

    On the 10th of December 2005, International Human Rights Day, volunteers for the Epoch Times newspaper in Finland held activities next to Helsinki Train Station to support six million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and to expose the evil CCP’s criminal history of trampling human rights with torture. Many people took material or asked questions.
  • Italy: Practitioners from Milan Protest at the Thai Consulate and Deliver an Open Letter

    Falun Gong practitioners went to the Thai Consulate in Milan to express their concern about the human rights violations by the Thai police, who arrested Falun Gong practitioners at the behest of the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok. Practitioners urged the Thai government not to collaborate with the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) in persecuting Falun Gong.
  • Swedish Falun Dafa Association Writes to the Thai Embassy

    "On December the 15th about twenty Thai police officers arrested three men, two women and their children aged five, six and fourteen. These Falun Gong practitioners did nothing wrong, but the Thai police choose to lock them up like they were criminals. They were peacefully meditating in front of the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok on December the 15th most probably in sympathy with two female Falun Gong practitioners who were raped by the policemen of Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province in China. They were very sad about what happened to their fellow practitioners in China."
  • Portugal: European Practitioners Appeal to Stop the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong

    Recently, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao visited Portugal. Falun Gong practitioners from Portugal, Spain, and other European countries gathered in Lisbon and held a series of activities, demanding that Wen Jiabao and the Chinese government stop the persecution of Falun Gong and unconditionally release all imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Member of European Parliament: "Falun Gong followers remain at the sharp end of Beijing’s repression"

    "The European Parliament is aware of the increasing violations of human rights in China and has passed several resolutions on the issue...The EU is engaged in continuous dialogue with the Chinese authorities, designed to encourage the transformation towards an open Chinese society based on the rule of law and continues to raise areas of concern. Falun Gong followers remain at the sharp end of Beijing’s repression, with a reported 200,000 people interned in labour camps."
  • Sweden: Delivering Letters to the Embassies of Thailand and Argentina in Stockholm

    On the 19th of December, two practitioners in Stockholm visited the Embassies of Thailand and Argentina. They handed over letters from the Swedish Falun Gong Association and information about the Chinese Communist Party forcing the authorities of Thailand and Argentina to persecute Falun Gong. Demonstrations in front of both Embassies will be held this week. The secretary in the Argentinean Embassy had already learned about what happened on 14th December. She expressed her regret that the evil Chinese Communist Party could ever persecute Falun Gong practitioners in Buenos Aires.
  • Czech Republic: The Parliament and President Pay Attention to Human Rights in China during Wen Jiabao’s Visit

    From December the 8th to the 9th 2005, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Premier visited the Czech Republic. Falun Gong practitioners held a twenty four-hour protest in front of the Chinese Consulate and ordered the CCP to stop the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Czech television stations interviewed Falun Gong practitioners about their protest.
  • Germany: Chinese Tourist Proclaims, "You are The Hope of China"

    On December 10th, International Human Rights Day, practitioners in Germany held a Falun Gong Information Day in Nuremberg, the Human Rights City, to expose the ongoing brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. As Christmas is approaching, tourists from all over the world swarmed into the famous Nuremberg Christmas Market. Practitioners prepared many bookmarks and postcards which had "Falun Dafa is Good" written on them. The unique gifts attracted a lot of people's interest, and many took the initiative to request one.
  • Germany: The Thai Government Should Not Assist the CCP to Violate Human Rights

    On December 16th 2005, German Falun Gong practitioners went to the Thai Embassy in Berlin to deliver an open letter to the Ambassador and the Thai government. They wished to express their concern about the recent violation of Falun Gong practitioners’ human rights by Thai police under pressure from the Chinese Embassy. The letter urged the Thai government not to assist the CCP in suppression of its own people and violate human rights.
  • Slovak Republic: Falun Gong Warmly Welcomed by People of Rimavska Sobota

    On Saturday December 17th, practitioners held an activity in the main square of Rimavska Sobota (a small town in south-mid Slovakia) to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, as well as the violations of basic human rights and freedom, which the Chinese communist government inflicts upon its own people.
  • Sweden: Letting More People Know about the Persecution of Falun Gong and Recognise the CCP's Evil Nature

    December 10th is the annual Nobel Peace Prize promulgation day, also International Human Rights Day. The “Epoch Times” newspaper held a rally to support six million Chinese people’s withdrawal from the CCP at the Mynttorget square in Stockholm city centre. Falun Gong practitioners were also invited to participate in this activity.
