UK: The Ancient Falun Gong Exercises Come to Huddersfield Town

French MP: "Safeguarding Human Rights Should Precede Economic Interest"
2004-07-21In January 2004, influenced by propaganda and under pressure from the Jiang regime, Paris police mistreated Falun Gong practitioners during Hu Jintao's visit to France. After the incident, practitioners clarified the facts to people at all levels in France, demanding that the relevant persons should take legal responsibility and make an apology. 2004-07-21Last week it was learned from the Irish Embassy in China that Liu Feng and his wife Qiaona Zhang are again in the process of returning to Ireland to continue their studies. Liu Feng is a Dun Laoghaire student who was detained when he returned to China for his Christmas break in 1999 and was not permitted to return to Ireland because he practiced Falun Dafa. -

2004-07-21My name is Chen Zhumei and I started to practice Falun Dafa in July 1999 in France. On the 18th of July, 2000, I went to Beijing to validate the Fa and was arrested and detained for a month after being beaten cruelly by the evil police. As I did not study the Fa sufficiently, lacked deeper understanding of Dafa principles, and failed to let go of my basic attachments, I did not use my righteous thoughts in the face of hardship. -

2004-07-20On Saturday July 17th in Dublin, a group of Falun Dafa practitioners held an Anti-Torture exhibition demonstrating the methods used in Chinese labour camps, prisons and detention centres to force practitioners to give up their belief. The exhibition took place in the centre of Dublin on Dublin’s busiest thoroughfare. Crowds of people watched the display in disbelief at the horror of what is happening in China today. -
