Ms. Li Zhifen Paralysed After Thirteen Days of Torture at Shandong Second Women's Forced Labour Camp

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Zhifen was unjustly arrested and sent to the Shandong Second Women's Forced Labour Camp on August 31st 2005. On the fourth day Ms. Li was persecuted so badly that symptoms of a stroke appeared and she fell into a coma. The police pinched an acupuncture point to awaken her. Upon regaining consciousness, Ms. Li's could no longer move the right side of her body. She could not eat, drink, or swallow medicine. A Police officer still did not allow her to sleep on a bed. He threw away her blankets and said to her, "Don't you dare tell people about this. We did not persecute you." After being persecuted for 13 days, Ms. Li became paralysed and could no longer eat or talk. -
A Forced Labour Camp Inmate: The Horrific Tortures Used on Falun Gong Practitioners in a Beijing Forced Labour Camp for Women
2005-10-04"I was sent to a forced labour camp because I was addicted to drugs. I was designated as one of the "clampdown personnel," who were prison inmates assigned to oversee the activities of Falun Gong practitioners. Through the performance of my duties, I became acquainted with various reprehensible and deceitful methods employed to isolate and monitor people. Sometimes, in order to gain the approval of the division leader and obtain leniency and privileges for ourselves, we were driven to extremes, finding excuses to beat and insult the innocent practitioners. The prison supervisor favoured inmates who frequently beat and scolded the practitioners." -
Two Incidents of Policeman Wei Wei's Torture of Practitioner Mr. Zhou Xiangyang in Tianjin City
2005-10-04In the autumn of 2000, prison policeman Wei Wei brought 32-year-old Mr. Zhou Xiangyang to a secret room in the Shuangkou Forced Labour Camp in order to beat him to force him to give up Falun Gong. Wei punched Mr. Zhou, knocked him to the ground, and asked him, "Do you still want to practise?" Mr. Zhou slowly stood up and then stared at Wei but did not answer. Wei yelled, "Nobody in this camp is not afraid of me," and began to punch and kick Zhou again. He knocked Zhou, whose face was all bleeding, to the ground, and asked him again, "Do you still want to practise?" -
"Destroy Them Physically:" The Jiamusi Labour Camp Follows the CCP's Genocidal Policy
2005-10-03On April 30th 2005, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wu Chunlong was sent home from Jiamusi Labour Camp when he was unconscious and dying. After returning home, he was continually monitored by the police. He died on August 20th 2005 after enduring another four months of misery and pain at the young age of 29. Jiamusi Labour Camp is guilty of following the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) genocidal policy toward Falun Dafa practitioners: "destroy them physically." The labour camp releases Falun Dafa practitioners only when they were dying, either to die at home or else suffer major disability. -
Police Brutality Suspected in Death of Elderly Dafa Practitioner Ms. Lu Tianyun of Hubei Province
2005-10-0365-year-old Dafa practitioner Ms. Lu Tianyun went missing from a square in Xiangyang County on November 18th 2003. A day later, a witness said that he'd seen the police arrest an elderly lady who was practising Falun Gong in the square the day before. Later, police claimed that they'd found the body of a woman in the pool of the square on November 19th and it was immediately cremated as an unidentified body. Among the articles the police admitted to finding on Lu Tianyun were some Dafa leaflets exposing the persecution, indicating that the police were aware that Lu Tianyuan was a Falun Gong practitioner. On the basis of this evidence, it's impossible that the police had nothing to do with Lu Tianyun's death. -
Six Dafa Practitioners from Chongqing City, Shandong, Hebei, and Anhui Provinces Persecuted to Death
2005-10-03Ms. Chen Jianhua, 50, started practising Falun Dafa in 1997 and she recovered from her previous diabetes. She went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa three times between 2000 and 2001. She was taken back to the Yantai Detention Centre and was fined over ten thousand yuan many times. Her home was repeatedly illegally searched, her property was confiscated, and she was harassed. In 2005, Ms. Chen was arrested and sent to a brainwashing centre. She had a relapse of her former illness and was released. Several days later, on March 29th 2005, Ms. Chen passed away. -
Women's Labour Camp of Fujian Province Made Huge Profits Selling Practitioners' Blood
2005-10-03Every now and then, the guards in the Women's Labour Camp of Fujian Province would draw a large volume of blood from the Falun Dafa practitioners, who had already become very frail from the brutal tortures. The loss of blood further sabotaged the practitioners' health, and meanwhile, the labour camp would make huge profits selling their blood. For the practitioners who did not cooperate, inmates would forcefully draw blood from them. One time, Ms. Cuan Saizhu's mouth and nose were sealed with sealing tape by brigade leaders. The skin on her cheek came off with the tape when the sealing tape was pulled off. It was too brutal to watch. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Liu Qianqian Tortured to Death at the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison

Ms. Liu Qianqian was 33 years old. She was arrested in 2002 and secretly sentenced to three years in prison. She had been locked up in the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison, and was forced to go through brainwashing sessions and do heavy labour all day long. On June 19th 2005, Ms. Liu Qianqian was released home, but was as thin as a skeleton. She died on August 6th 2005. -
Ms. Yang Lijuan Tortured, Her Elderly Parents Traumatised (Photo)
2005-10-02On August 24th 2005, National Security Team police arrested Ms. Yang Lijuan because she practises Falun Gong. The police brutally tortured her by inserting bamboo sticks under her fingernails, force-feeding her with highly concentrated pepper water, hanging her up, and tying her to an electric chair. Ms. Yang is being detained in Jilin City's Third Detention Centre. On September 2nd her 81-year-old mother made a phone call to the detention centre and was rudely told, "Yang Lijuan was executed!" -
Thirteen Types of Torture Used on Falun Gong Practitioners at Gaoyang Labour Camp
2005-10-02One of the thirteen types of torture at Gaoyang Labour Camp is called "Hanging legs": A deep hole is dug into the ground. The practitioner is then made to sit on the edge of the hole with both legs hanging down. Next, a big stone is tied to a rope, and the other end is tied to the practitioner's legs. The big stone is then thrown into the pit. The pain of this torture can hardly be imagined. -
Chen Wen, a Single Old Man, Died Mysteriously in Huanggang City, Hubei Province
2005-10-02Mr. Chen Wen was about 75 years old. Mr. Chen wrote many letters to different levels of government to explain the truth of Falun Dafa with his own experience. He also went to Tiananmen Square to appeal and was arrested by the police. About three months ago, Chen Wen went to another city to visit his relatives and tell them the facts about Falun Gong. Soon after his trip he was suddenly found dead. Sources say that the Huang Zhou Public Security Bureau was informed that Chen Wen was found dead on the side of a field in the country area and that he still carried leaflets exposing the persecution with him. Other sources say that Chen Wen was beaten to death. The real situation is unknown. -
Her Grandchildren Tortured to Death, 82 Year Old Mrs. He Guizhi Dies of Grief (Photo)
2005-10-01Falun Dafa practitioner Mrs. He Guizhi was 82 years old and lived in Heilongjiang Province. Her grandson and granddaughter-in-law were both tortured to death due to practising Falun Dafa. She had nowhere to go for justice. She lost her eyesight and died brokenhearted on December 3rd 2003. She was survived by her 82 year old husband and their great granddaughter who live a hard life. -
58-Year-Old Ms. Ji Fengqin Dies Shortly After Being Released from the Wanjia Forced Labour Camp
2005-10-01Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Ji Fengqin suffered prolonged, cruel torture in the Wanjia Forced Labour Camp. In August 2005, Ms. Ji was skin and bones and looked terrible. Some criminal inmates said sarcastically, "Your husband dumped you, and your son won't even visit you. You look terrible. Even if you go back home, you could no longer do any work. How could you survive on your own?" These words hurt Ms. Ji badly. From then on, her condition deteriorated rapidly, but she was still forced to work. On August 27th or 28th 2005 Ms. Ji Fengqin was released and returned home. Several days later she died. -
Schoolteacher Ms. Dong Xiuqin Suffers Mental Collapse From Torture at Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2005-10-01Ms. Dong Xiuqin once taught at a primary school in Liaoning Province. She was subjected to inhuman torture at the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp and has suffered a mental breakdown. When she was told that she would be arrested again if she did not "transform," she once again broke down. She stopped drinking and eating, did not feel hot and cold, sometimes ran about naked and spoke incoherently, and screamed and yelled uncontrollably. Because of persecution by the Chinese Communist Party, Ms. Dong has become a mental patient. -
Torture Methods Used at the Beijing Female Prison to Force Falun Gong Practitioners to Abandon Their Beliefs
2005-10-01Tian Fengqing, the guard's leader, incited guards to take practitioner Ms. Gong to the one-story house behind the building where no one could hear the screams when they tortured practitioners. They held Ms. Gong on the ground, separated her legs in opposite directions and then pulled very hard. After this torture, Ms. Gong couldn't walk normally for nearly a year. The guards also forced practitioner Ms. Zhao Xiuhuan to bend her body at 90 degrees with two people riding on her.
