Poland: Raising Awareness about the Persecution to People in Skierniewice and Warsaw
2007-02-11On the weekend of January 13th & 14th, in the town of Skierniewice and the city of Warsaw, a group of Falun Gong practitioners organised activities to let local people know about Falun Gong and the persecution in China by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Polish practitioners were joined by practitioners from other European countries. -
Switzerland: Falun Gong Information Week during the World Economic Forum
2007-02-10Every January, the World Economic Forum is held in Davos. Since 2003, Falun Gong practitioners have gone there every year to tell people about the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) cruel persecution against Falun Gong. This year, the event was aimed at exposing the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. -
Germany: Sharing Experiences and Studying the Falun Dafa Teachings at the Annual Retreat
2007-02-10The annual retreat for practitioners throughout Germany took place from the 27th to the 30th of December 2006. Although many people were busy with important activities, more than 150 practitioners participated. They all wanted to take part in the experience sharing, reading the Falun Gong books together and practising the exercises. -
Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest Against Live Organ Harvesting by the CCP
2007-02-08On 18th January, German Falun Gong practitioners held a peaceful protest at the Chinese Communist Party Consulate in Frankfurt. They had banners stating “Stop Persecuting Falun Gong”, “Stop Live Organ Harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners” “Renounce the Chinese Communist Party to guarantee peace”. -
Sweden: Lerum City Marks the Fifth Anniversary of Falun Gong Day
2007-02-06Falun Gong practitioners from Lerum City gathered in the square at the train station to mark the fifth anniversary of Lerum City’s Falun Gong Day by demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises and explaining the facts about the persecution in China to the general public. They also held the “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance Painting Exhibition” at a city gallery. -
United Kingdom: The Story of an Award-Winning Chinese Student at Manchester University
2007-02-05In the autumn of 2003, Sammie, a Chinese girl, was admitted to Manchester University. She was only sixteen then and had lived in the UK for only a year and a half. Before arriving in the UK, Sammie and her mother had begun to practise a traditional method of self-cultivation in China called Falun Gong. Although Sammie and countless other Chinese people from all walks of life benefited enormously from the practice, the CCP banned Falun Gong in 1999. -
Slovakia: Practitioners Appeal for an Investigation into the Persecution of Falun Gong
2007-02-04On February 2nd, practitioners gathered at a government building in Bratislava. They intended to ask the Prime Minister to bring up the issue of human rights and the persecution of Falun Gong during his visit to China on the 5th. The practitioners also submitted to the government an official petition with more than 3,000 signatures, asking for an end to the persecution. -
France: Falun Gong Practitioners Urge the Singapore Authorities not to be the Accomplices of the CCP
2007-02-03In order to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong in China, six Singapore Falun Gong practitioners distributed leaflets about the persecution, as well as information in support of the many millions of withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party, on a busy road in Singapore on October 23rd, 2005. -
France: People are Concerned with the Ongoing Persecution of Falun Gong in China
2007-02-02Falun Gong practitioners showed the film "Sandstorm" in two cities. The film exposes the Chinese Communist regime’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. A daily newspaper reported the activity and the article also mentioned the CCP's atrocity of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. The movie “Sandstorm” is an independent film produced in Canada, which depicts the torture and abuse suffered by a Falun Gong practitioner in China. This movie has received many prizes around the world. Falun Gong practitioners hope that by showing the movie, more people could learn about the persecution taking place in China. -
Slovakia: Introducing Falun Gong to the People of Dunajska Streda
2007-01-31Falun Gong practitioners visited the city of Dunajska Streda, a small town in south-west Slovakia. Although it was initially snowing heavily, gradually it stopped and passers-by would stop before practitioners performing the exercises to read information posters about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Many were concerned upon learning about the situation and took the initiative to sign the petition. -
Denmark: Practitioners Call on the Singaporean Authorities to Revoke the Unreasonable Charges against Practitioners
2007-01-30Practitioners presented a letter from the Danish Falun Gong Association to the Singaporean Ambassador to Denmark, Arne Simonsen, to protest against the trial of six Falun Gong practitioners who are being prosecuted on the charge of assembly without a permit. They urgently called on the Singaporean government to revoke the illegal accusations. -
Finland: Finnish People Sign a Petition to Support Falun Gong Practitioners
2007-01-28The volunteers and Falun Gong practitioners distributed leaflets exposing the CCP's crimes, its cruel persecution of Falun Gong and the atrocity of killing practitioners for their organs. After reading the leaflets and the posters displayed, some people requested more information and they said, ‘Thank you and well done’ to practitioners. Some asked if they could do anything to help. Many others signed the petition to support practitioners. -
Belgium: Lotus Flowers Blossom at the Hobby Market in Hasselt
2007-01-26Practitioners took part in a Hobby Market in Hasselt. As well as demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises, practitioners wrote visitors' names in Chinese characters and held an activity in which people could sit together and fold paper lotus flowers. Both were extremely popular and provided an opportunity to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. -
Finland: Supporting Seventeen Million Withdrawals from the CCP
2007-01-25Groups representing the Finnish Service Centre for Quitting the CCP, The Epoch Times newspaper and Falun Gong came to Helsinki’s central train station. They came to support seventeen million Chinese people quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and exhibited photographs exposing the CCP’s tyranny in China. -

But not only that. In China people are sent to prison for many years without trial because of their beliefs. According to eye witnesses and independent investigation we have learned that since 2001 human organs are being taken by force the from the bodies of the prisoners of conscience throughout China. One of the most persecuted groups in China is Falun Gong also known as Falun Dafa."
