• Austria: Dafa Practitioners Hold Activities to Commemorate the Fourth Anniversary of the Peaceful Appeal in Beijing

  So many people were interested in learning about Falun Gong and the persecution that practitioners ran out of their leaflet on the genocide lawsuit against Chinese dictator Jiang in just one hour. People were shocked and infuriated when they learned about the persecution. Many Chinese people also stayed with practitioners for a long time to learn the true facts about Falun Gong.

• UK Practitioner’s Speech on April 25th: “Rescue my Sister, Zhu Baolian” (photo)

  "Baolian is one of the many thousands of unlawfully detained Falun Gong practitioners in China. The persecution in China is still going on. As far as we know, thousands of practitioners have been incarcerated in mental hospitals and abused. Many hundreds have been sentenced to up to eighteen years imprisonment. More than 600 Falun Gong practitioners have died whilst in police custody. Many of them were badly tortured."

• Hungary: Explaining the Facts to Tourists and Chinese People in Budapest

Accompanied by peaceful Dafa music, some practitioners practised the exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts, whilst others distributed leaflets and talked to the tourists. The peaceful music and graceful exercises attracted the attention of many people who stopped to watch.

  "I worry constantly about her safety. Every day I read about practitioners being subjected to severe physical, mental and sexual abuses and I dread to think what Yongjie might have suffered. She is a sweet-natured person who always thinks of others first and would never hurt anyone. She has not committed any wrongdoings and poses no danger to anyone. She does not belong in a labour camp that is meant for criminals. It is an insult to human dignity to put good people in those places."

• Slovakia: Practitioner’s Painting Exhibition Successfully Held in Bratislava

  Many people took their time to look carefully at the exhibition and admired the inner beauty of the paintings. One of the visitors at the opening ceremony was the Bratislavan Vice-Minister of Culture. After he was given one of Zhang Cuiying’s paintings, he declared that it is so beautiful that he will make it available for everyone to see in the city gallery.
