This is a horrific torture. The practitioner is handcuffed this way for several hours, several days or more than ten days. -

Another interview was conducted with the witness who came forward several days ago to reveal details regarding the Sujiatun concentration camp in Northeast China. In this interview the witness revealed that her ex-husband was one of the main surgeons in the concentration camp. He is a brain surgeon, and was mainly in charge of cornea removal. -

The practitioner's legs are tightly tied with a thin rope with his legs in the double-crossed position; his arms are forced behind his back and handcuffed. There are two ways of handcuffing. The victim is tied in these positions for several hours or sometimes more than ten hours at a time. The captors place foul-smelling shoes and other filthy things underneath the victims' noses and sometimes they tape the practitioner's mouth shut. -

Torture re-enactment: hanging upside-down. The practitioner's legs are pulled through the bottom railing of a bunk bed with his head pointing downward in mid-air. His arms are tied behind his back. As a result of being positioned upside down, the practitioner usually experiences blood rushing to the head, which causes severe swelling of the head. Several minutes later he suffers from shortness of breath and dizzy spells. Guard Wang Xiuju tortured practitioner Zhang Xiuling this way and ordered collaborators to hit her head until her eyes turned black and blue. They even burned her face with a lit piece of paper. -
Practitioner Mr. Xiao Guozhi's Face Disfigured from Beating in Tieling City Labour Camp

On the morning of February 14th, 2006, the Fifth Ward Head brutally beat five detained Falun Dafa practitioners and shock them with electric batons. One of the practitioners, Mr. Xiao Guozhi has been severely injured, and his face is severely disfigured due to the electric baton shocks. His lips are curved outward, and are swollen to one and a half inches thick; the left side of his face is deformed from the swelling, with a 5-inch-long unhealed wound from a baton burn, seeping liquid. His deformed face is a tragic sight to behold. -
Supplementary Information on Mr. Zhao Guoan's Death in Henan Province's Third Forced Labour Camp
2006-03-19"I was detained at the Henan Province Third Forced Labour Camp in August 2003 and was subjected to brainwashing along with Mr. Zhao Guoan. Mr. Zhao Guoan refused to write the three statements and instead wrote down "I will firmly persist in cultivating Dafa until the end and die with no regrets." Drug-addict inmate Liu Wei reported this to the camp guards, and the guards beat Mr. Zhao brutally. Mr. Zhao died as a result of the harsh treatment. Afterwards the guards had Chen Guoqing spread the rumour that Zhao Guoan was bailed out for medical treatment." -
Account of the Brutal Persecution I Suffered at the Hands of Officials at the Jilin Custodial Station
2006-03-17"My name is Li Cuiling. I went to visit a Falun Dafa practitioner and the police were in her home. They arrested us both. They sent us to the Jilin Custodial Station. During the three days I was detained there, I didn't eat or drink. I adopted the hunger strike method to show my protest. They force-fed me. Force-feeding is a very cruel torture method. I struggled very hard. The prison doctor, who wore leather shoes, kicked my face. They poured a thick saline water and corn flour solution down the tube. I felt nauseous and suffocated, and I vomited. They use this torture method to try to force Dafa students to give up their belief in Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." -
WOIPFG: An Investigation Report on the Death Camp in Sujiatun, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province (Part I)
2006-03-16According to our initial investigation, there truly exists a large "organ market" in Sujiatun, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, China. It is a systematic procedural practice, which includes building the death camp, detaining the "suppliers" (living Falun Gong practitioners), matching Falun Gong practitioners' organs with people who need them, surgically removing the organs, eliminating the victims' bodies and setting up the hospitals that use these stolen organs. Without any legal procedures, Falun Gong practitioners are taken to the Sujiatun death camp without anyone's knowledge. They are in complete isolation. Their bodies are cremated after their organs are harvested. -
Interview with Charles Lee: CCP Stops at no Evil in Its Persecution of Falun Gong, Part 2
2006-03-16"They forced me to work, also a form of physical and emotional punishment. It is customary in Chinese prisons for the inmates to be subjected to forced labour. Detainees have to obey unconditionally, as refusal to obey would lead to immediate severe punishment. At first they didn't make me work because they wanted to make me give up my belief in Falun Gong by forcing me to attend brainwashing sessions. Later they saw that I was not going to give up my belief, so they tried to make me admit guilt and work along with the inmates. They said that all capable criminals must work. I didn't acknowledge the label "criminal," so I refused to work. They made me stand. If I moved they kicked me and verbally attacked and humiliated me in front of everyone." -
Mr. Jiang Guopo is in Critical Condition after 156 Days on Hunger Strike
2006-03-15After following Mr. Jiang Guopo and abducting him on October 3rd, 2005, the police held him in the Hanting Detention Centre for 30 days and sentenced him to three years of forced labour on November 2nd, 2005. He was sent to the Changle Labour Camp where he was brutally persecuted in the past. Mr. Jiang Guopo is in critical condition after 156 days of hunger strike. He has been force-fed twice daily. Each time he has been horribly tortured; the perpetrators have used the finger-size feeding tube and it was covered with blood each time. He is emaciated, his heart and liver are not functioning properly and his blood pressure is out of control. -
610 Office Incites Hatred in School Children
2006-03-15The 610 Office in Tangshan City, Hebei Province went to "Shiyan First Elementary School" to slander Falun Gong on February 22nd, 2006. They used the school as a test to apply their dirty tricks of smearing Falun Gong with deception and threats. If successful, they planned to later extend it to the entire district. They required every student in the class to speak and write a report. Students would be banned from the class if they did not write the report, or they would not be allowed to go home after school. Some teachers asked the students to report practitioners and those who distributed Falun Gong materials (including their own relatives). -
Tang Guoping Almost Blinded by Abuse at the Xinhua Forced Labour Camp in Sichuan Province
2006-03-15On December 15th, 2005, officials at the Xinhua Forced Labour Camp wrote to the 610 Office informing them that Tang Guoping had developed a strange eye disease, and he was almost blind. They asked the local "610 Office" to send an official letter and after approval, they would release Tang Guoping. However, the evildoers in the "610 Office" ignored the letter and withheld information in an attempt to prevent the release of Tang Guoping. Later, Tang Guoping's life was in great danger and the condition of his eyes continued to deteriorate. -

After spending three years in Chinese prison, U.S. citizen Charles Lee returned to the United States last month. Commenting on his prison term, he said: "They used sleep deprivation for 92 hours to torture me. They also forced me to watch videos slandering Falun Gong and put handcuffs on me. An informer told me that they originally had wanted to charge me with practising Falun Gong. But, because I am a U.S. citizen, they concocted a story instead that I was going to "damage media equipment."" -

2006-03-11This source said that there are more than six thousand Falun Dafa practitioners detained. He said, "The CCP won't let a prisoner consume food forever. Then what are they doing? In the end, the Falun Dafa practitioners are killed for their organs, which are sent to the various medical facilities. Currently, organ selling is a very profitable business in China. Many patients that died on the operating table have had their organs taken away. No one investigates it, and even doctors are involved in this trade. They cannot find enough bodies through executions, and no bodies are more readily available than those of practitioners to do this business." -
Non-Practitioner's Eyewitness Account of the Atrocities Committed in the Jin City Prison
2006-03-11"Their treatment of practitioners was extremely brutal. They often verbally abused and assaulted practitioners. The practitioners often conducted hunger strikes against the persecution, so the prison guards ordered some of the most sadistic criminals to watch over the practitioners and force-feed them every two hours. They would continue the forced feedings even after the practitioners' stomachs were full. They used such methods to torture the practitioners until they were half dead."
