• Police Officers Arrest Disabled Practitioner Mr. Wang Yonghua in Sichuan Province

  The police arrested Mr. Wang Yonghua, a disabled farmer from Suining City, at the end of August. They have detained him ever since. On August 30th, Suining City Beimen Police Department officials sent the police to his home again to ransack it. They knocked over his parents' furniture and took away a mobile phone and a family portrait of Mr. Wang with his wife and daughter. They also beat Mr. Wang in front of his parents and took him away to Suining City for interrogation. His wife was forced to leave home with their 10-month-old son to avoid the persecution.

• 50-Year-Old Ms. Wang Yuling Sentenced to Long Prison Term; Son Died From Shock and Grief, Disabled Husband is Barely Scraping By

  50-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Yuling was unlawfully sentenced to 13 years in prison for persisting in her belief in Truth, Compassion, Forbearance. For the past three years the police have never notified her family about her incarceration and have never allowed them to visit her. Her family enquired in all sorts of places for over a year and finally found out that she is being held at a "labour reeducation" hospital. The police tied her hands with plastic bands, burned her, beat and kicked her, poured cold water on her, and shocked her with 30,000-volt electric baton(s), which made her lose consciousness. Her son fell ill and later died from shock and grief at his mother's brutal persecution.

• Witness to the Persecution at Judong Women's Forced Labour Camp in Jiangsu Province

  In May 2002, I was sent to Judong Women's Forced Labour Camp in Jiangsu Province. I witnessed many vicious and brutal persecution methods inflicted on Falun Gong practitioners. At that time, almost all Falun Gong practitioners who were sent to the labour camp had been beaten by electronic batons. Some of them instantly lost the control of their bladders. A guard once inserted a baton into a female practitioner's private parts, which caused great damage.

  Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Dong Jingya from Shenyang City has been on hunger strike in the 1st division of Masanjia Forced Labour Camp for more than 6 months. She once had such symptoms as a "reverse-flow" stomach, vomiting, blurry vision, kidney failure, shortage of blood in her cardiac muscle, and so on. The Police Chief from the 1st division, said on the telephone on October 13th, "Nobody is allowed to see her. They also claimed that Ms. Dong had been regularly force-fed.

• Tears and Blood of Dalian: The Persecution of Dafa Practitioner Ms. Sun Yan (Photos) (Part 3)

  After enduring inhumane physical tortures and mental torment, Sun Yan still persisted in her Falun Gong practice. She was held in the Longshan Forced Labour Camp. On March 22nd, 2004, a Dafa-slandering meeting was held. One female practitioner, Gao Rongrong, refused to attend and was brutally tortured. Sun Yan tried to stop the beating. A guard immediately punched Sun Yan near the eyes. Her eyes became red and swollen and later turned black and blue. Sun Yan and Gao Rongrong were held in the same cell at the Longshan Labour Camp. Gao Rongrong's face was left disfigured when guards shocked her with electric batons. Sun Yan's face was also shocked with electric batons.

  In April 2004, police officers fabricated evidence against Li Wenjun and sentenced him to three years in the Jiutai City Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp. While incarcerated, Li repeatedly went on hunger strike to protest the persecution. His health was severely damaged as a result. Although his elderly family has approached the justice department to request freedom for Li Wenjun, the justice department and the government organisations keep shirking their responsibility and endlessly shift the responsibility to each other.

  Mr. Zhao Facheng and Ms. Ren Zhifang, Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested and detained by the 610 Office for distributing leaflets exposing the persecution on May 4th, 2005. During their detention, the 610 personnel interrogated them many times to find out their source of leaflets. Ms. Ren was detained for as long as three months and was persecuted both physically and spiritually. In early August 2005, she had a distended abdomen. The Chinese Communist Party and Jiang Zemin's regime recklessly violate human rights and persecute kind Falun Gong practitioners. At the same time, they lie to the general public, saying that they will build a so-called "harmonious society."

• Products Made With Slave Labour - Colourful Lanterns at the Zhongba Forced Labour Camp in Guizhou Province

  There are seven brigades at the Zhongba Forced Labour Camp, each of which makes slave labour products. "Slave labour" here refers to the fact that the guards in the labour camp use brutality to force the prisoners to manufacture products under adverse conditions. At present, the slave labour products made in the Zhongba Forced Labour Camp include polished man-made crystal gems, various kinds of colourful lanterns, and electronic products. Prisoners must work about 16 hours every day. Those not completing their production tasks receive various kinds of corporal punishments, are subjected to barbaric torture, or have their terms in the labour camp extended.

• Severe Persecution Cases of Several Women Practitioners in the Wangcun Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province

  Ms. Li Ping is over 50 years old and was sentenced to forced labour on September 30th, 2004. She suffered unimaginable tortures at that camp for assertively refusing to give up Falun Dafa. In a one-month period, Ms. Li was permitted only three nights' sleep. During the daytime she was forced to sit on a small backless stool and at night she was punished by having to stand for long hours. Because of long-term lack of sleep she frequently fell down while standing, often injuring her face and head. After long-term physical torture and extreme pressure and mental torment from threats and intimidation, Li Ping suffered a mental collapse. Now she keeps saying, "What crime have I committed? All I did is just practise qigong."

That case was widely publicised. But it did not just happen once; it happened at least three times. At another time, the police took ten female practitioners to Zhangshi Training House. They stripped nine of the ten practitioners and threw them into a cell with men. Another time they stripped four female practitioners and forced them into the men's cells."

  At the Shengli Hospital some staff members have used the mental illness department to torture Falun Gong practitioners over the past six years. The medical staff at the mental illness department falsely diagnosed practitioners as having mental problems, and then put them together with real mental patients and subjected them to "treatment." Using medication to torture practitioners, they hope to "transform" them into real mental patients. These doctors forced practitioners to wear white clothes and white hats while some nurses forced them to take drugs and receive injections every day. They wanted to destroy practitioners' bodies with the unidentified drugs.

  Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp in Beijing is notorious for its brutality and hypocrisy. Many cruel means have been used to persecute practitioners over the past several years, in efforts to "transform1" them. To the public, it claimed that its "education" style was "like life-giving spring breezes and showers." This so-called "education" is in fact a retinue of cruel torture and brainwashing. Authorities at Tuanhe use inmate "helpers," "enduring eagle" (sleep deprivation), threats, physical abuse, enforced sitting, hard labour, and other methods to persecute practitioners to get them to recant their beliefs.

  Days before China's National Day, October 1st, 2005, the 610 Office in Mengyin County, Shandong Province posted slogans that read "oppose cults, maintain stability, promote progress" and printed a coloured pamphlet entitled "Achievements of Chinese Communist Party's Mengyin County 610 Office." Several hundred copies were printed by the 610 Office and the local police. This pamphlet bragged about the 610 Office's "political achievements" in persecuting Falun Gong since July 20th, 1999.

• Female Falun Gong Practitioners Sexually Abused in Dalian Forced Labour Camp

  "The police officers in Dalian Forced Labour Camp instructed the criminal detainees to torture female practitioners by abusing them sexually. The criminal inmates were ordered to strip off the female practitioner's clothes, cuff their hands and feet spread eagle. Then they stuffed pepper into their genitals, inserted mop handles into their genitals, or pushed three tooth brushes tied together in three different directions into their genitals and rotated them for a long time."
