  On the morning of September 20th 2005, Falun Dafa practitioners Mrs. Wang Jinping and Bai Min were on trial in Dadong District Court of Shenyang City, and were sentenced to eight and four years of prison respectively, for "disturbing social order and endangering national security." During the trial process, there was no defence lawyer and no chance for them to defend themselves. The verdict was pushed through as if it was part of a mechanised process.

• Government Officials in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province Arrest at Least 16 Falun Gong Practitioners

  On September 23rd 2005, a large number of Daqing City policemen were sent to arrest many Dafa practitioners. At least 16 practitioners from the city were arrested. It started about five a.m. The Head of the Daqing Development Zone Police Sub-bureau led 7 to 8 policemen to break into the house of elderly Dafa practitioner Ms. Gao Guifen. The policemen cut her telephone line and disconnected her mobile phone to cut off all communication to the outside. They ransacked her house and confiscated her personal property. At about 10 a.m. the policemen took Ms. Gao Guifen, who is nearly 70 years old, to criminal detention.

• Facts about the Recent Persecution of Dafa Practitioners at Dalian Forced Labour Camp

  Falun Gong practitioners' work units start work at 6 a.m. and work for more than ten hours a day in the forced labour camp. Practitioner Liu Jilian, though very weak, was forced to collect scrap, but was not allowed to rest. He was forced to perform the work one-handed, because the other hand was disabled. The guards treat practitioners as the main production force and get bonuses if production is high. As practitioners are released, the number of people working is reduced, but the work quota is not reduced. If the quotas are not met, the deputy captain puts pressure on the guards.

  Five practitioners from Jixi City were sentenced to prison for telling people the truth about Falun Dafa and exposing the persecution. It is known that Ms. Pan Xihua and others have been transferred to the Heilongjiang Women's Prison. Pan Xihua said: " I was sentenced to five years in prison for practising Falun Gong. I witnessed the police from the Mashan District and the Didao District Police Sub-bureaus use torture to extort confessions from people."

• Practitioners Ms. Wang Caiqin and Ms. Cao Airong from Gansu Province Unjustly Sentenced to Prison

  44-year-old Ms. Wang Caiqin was arrested and detained several times for practising Falun Gong. In October 2004, more than 20 officers climbed the walls and got into a house to arrest practitioners. A police officer grabbed a manure shovel and brutally beat practitioners with it. The entire courtyard was enveloped with dust due to the severe beating. The beating caused a large tear in the back of Ms. Wang Caiqin's jacket. At the police station police kicked at Ms. Wang's face until her face became frighteningly swollen and covered with nicks and cuts, because she refused to betray any fellow practitioner. Her body was also full of injuries and bruises. The court sentenced Ms Wang to four years in prison.

• Recent Large Scale Abduction of Dafa Practitioners in Liaoning Province

  Between the afternoon of August 23rd 2005 and the morning of August 24th 2005, the Public Security Bureau along with other departments, illegally arrested eleven Falun Gong practitioners. In this arrest operation, policemen brutally assaulted Falun Gong practitioners with punches and kicks, and many policemen forcibly threw practitioners onto their cars without showing any credentials. Moreover, they broke into and ransacked practitioners' housing, confiscating their possessions for themselves, and even took the money that some practitioners carried on themselves and put it in their own pockets. No forms, paper work, or lawful procedures were carried out.

• Torture at the Cangzhou City Brainwashing Centre in Hebei Province

  The Changzhou City Brainwashing Centre, known as the Cangzhou City Legal Education Centre has subjected 235 Falun Gong practitioners to brainwashing and torture since 2001. Practitioners on the first floor are forced to watch or listen to video programmes that slander Falun Dafa. These brainwashing sessions try to make practitioners lose their reason and their human nature, so they will renounce Falun Dafa. The iron gate on the first floor is kept locked all day. Two guards take turns guarding the gate and no one is allowed to enter except the staff.

  "In late 2000, the village police officers arrested my wife and son for distributing leaflets exposing the persecution and took them to the detention centre. My son suffered inhumane torture at the hands of the police. Many scars were left on his body. He was so badly injured that he now has trouble controlling his bowels. My wife was imprisoned again and her body and mind were deeply affected by the long-term persecution. After harassment by the police she suffered symptoms of a cerebral hemorrhage and in great pain, she died this year."

  The 610 Office has once again launched a persecution campaign against Falun Dafa practitioners. The staff secretly planned the persecution strategy beforehand and held a meeting together with the managers of the related work units to discuss specifically how to implement the torture. They listed the practitioners targeted for persecution. The county 610 Office printed and distributed "transformation" form to all the related workplaces. They then forced every workplace to carry out forceful brainwashing by saying, "if practitioners are not transformed internally, your workplace have to pay 20,000 'yuan' to the county 610 Office."

Jiamusi Labour Camp is guilty of following the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) genocidal policy toward Falun Dafa practitioners: "destroy them physically." The labour camp releases Falun Dafa practitioners only when they were dying, either to die at home or else suffer major disability.

  Every now and then, the guards in the Women's Labour Camp of Fujian Province would draw a large volume of blood from the Falun Dafa practitioners, who had already become very frail from the brutal tortures. The loss of blood further sabotaged the practitioners' health, and meanwhile, the labour camp would make huge profits selling their blood. For the practitioners who did not cooperate, inmates would forcefully draw blood from them. One time, Ms. Cuan Saizhu's mouth and nose were sealed with sealing tape by brigade leaders. The skin on her cheek came off with the tape when the sealing tape was pulled off. It was too brutal to watch.

• Thirteen Types of Torture Used on Falun Gong Practitioners at Gaoyang Labour Camp

  One of the thirteen types of torture at Gaoyang Labour Camp is called "Hanging legs": A deep hole is dug into the ground. The practitioner is then made to sit on the edge of the hole with both legs hanging down. Next, a big stone is tied to a rope, and the other end is tied to the practitioner's legs. The big stone is then thrown into the pit. The pain of this torture can hardly be imagined.
