Ms. Bai Yanyun, 39, Died from Police Brutality in 2005

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Bao Yanyun, 39 years old, was arrested by police because they found a copy the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in her home. Police brutally beat and threatened her, endangering her life. Police sent her to Ezhou City Central Hospital for emergency treatment. She died in the hospital on October 20th, 2005. The doctor said she died of uraemia. But why was her life in danger only one day after being interrogated by the Ezhou City 610 Office agents? -
In Memory of Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhang Yanchao, Persecuted to Death at 30
2007-01-02Mr. Zhang Yanchao was 30 years old. On April 11th, 2002, Mr. Zhang was arrested by policemen from the Hongqi Village Police Station on his way home from Shuangcheng. He lost contact with his family. On April 30th, when his family finally got to see him again, he was already dead. Zhang Yanchao's mother still does not know that her son has been persecuted to death. Because her family members feared that she would not survive the news, they have never told her. She missed her son so much that she could not eat or sleep. -
Practitioners Arrested and Killed by 610 Office Agents in Liaoyuan City, Liaoning Province
2007-01-01The police team members told the 610 Office, the National Security Team, and their supervisors at the police station that these practitioners were a "gang of anti-revolutionaries." They confiscated assets worth 10,000 yuan, but reported them as 20,000 to 30,000 yuan to the provincial level government. The assets actually worth between 20,000 yuan and 30,000 yuan were reported at an inflated value of 50,000 to 60,000 yuan. The State Security Department urged them to conclude the case within a certain period of time after learning of this case. The provincial government attached a great deal of importance to this case, and asked Pi to report to them about the case every other day. -
Practitioner Lin Shixiong from Yanji City, Jilin Province Died as a Result of Persecution
2006-12-29Lin Shixiong was a manager of the Mitsubishi Repair Division in Yanji City, Jilin Province. He had a happy family and a career many people admired. However, during the seven-year persecution, he almost lost everything he owned. The CCP regime sentenced him to thirteen years in prison with fabricated charges. When he was confined in the Jilin Prison, he was forced to give up the management rights of the factory he had built from scratch, was made to divorce his wife and gave up custody of his child. Mr. Lin was sent to the Jilin Prison. He passed away around November 20th, 2006 as a result of persecution. -
Persecution-Related Deaths of Eight Falun Gong Practitioners Verified in November 2006
2006-12-26Ms. Cao Aihua had breast cancer before practising Falun Dafa. After only one week of practising Falun Gong she started to recover. After the persecution began, she persistently appealed for Dafa and was detained and sent to a labour camp multiple times. Her mother knelt before the police officers. She told them how her daughter regained her health from practising Falun Gong, and begged them not to put her daughter into the forced labour camp. In November she was sent to the Urumqi Women's Forced Labour Camp in Xinjiang. Only several days later she was tortured to death. -
A Mother Loses Three Family Members to the Persecution (Photos)

On September 3rd, 2004 prison guards tied Bi Wenming to a Tiger Bench. Starting at noon, five or six guards took turns torturing Bi Wenming with an electric baton. Every time a guard shocked him, Bi Wenming twitched painfully on the Tiger Bench. He would barely regain consciousness from the last shock before the next one came. At first Bi Wenming clenched his teeth and kept quiet, but after more than ten minutes, he couldn't take it anymore and screamed in pain. Bi Wenming was having trouble breathing. This young man had been tortured to death by the guards in less than 30 minutes. -
After Her Husband and Son Died, Lu Peilan, 78, from Shandong Province Also Died as a Result of Persecution
2006-12-23Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Lu Peilan, 78, was persecuted for many years because of her faith in Falun Dafa. The Village CCP Secretary forced Ms. Lu to write a "guarantee letter" to stop studying and practising Falun Gong. Because Ms. Lu was illiterate, they wrote the letter for her and then forced her to press her fingerprint onto it. Three practitioners in her family, plus his six- or seven-year-old granddaughter, were all confined in the house. Later her husband and son died because of the pressure from the police. Ms. Lu Peilan also died on October 22nd, 2006. -
Former Division Manager in A Bank, Mr. Chen Guanghui, Dies at 40 After Being Comatose for Over Two Years Due to Persecution at the Suzhou Jail in Jiangsu Province
2006-12-21In front of the Suzhou No. 100 Hospital, Jiangsu Province people often saw a skinny and grey-haired older lady lamenting that her son Mr. Chen Guanghui was persecuted to death. At the time, her son was dying in the hospital. His body was swollen beyond recognition due to oedema. The hospital diagnosed him as terminally ill and informed the prison authorities. Prison staff ordered the hospital staff to keep this information secret from the family. Mr. Chen's family asked that he be transferred to another hospital or released so they could bring him home. Prison authorities said, "He can only die in prison." 40-year-old Mr. Chen Guanghui died on December 12th, 2006. -
Ms. Tong Chunshi, 57, from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province Dies Following Torture at the Longshan Forced Labour Camp
2006-12-21Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Tong Chunshi was arrested in 2001 by officers from the Baiqing Police Station in Sujiatun. She was sentenced to three years of forced labour and held at Longshan Forced Labour Camp. Her abusers held her in a "chill room," shocked her with electric batons, hung her by her handcuffs, deprived her of sleep, and forced her to squat for forty days. The guards also beat and kicked her and made her do slave labour. She suffered a relapse of aesophageal cancer in 2004 and could not eat. She went home extremely weak and died on September 5th, 2006, at the age of 57. -
After Losing 3 Members, Mr. Wang Xiaofeng's Family Continues to Be Harassed by Shijiang City Police for Many Years

Shijiazhuang City resident Mr. Wang Xiaofeng and his family all practise Falun Dafa. They have been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for their belief in Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance. In less than an 18 month period, Mr. Wang lost three family members. His 34-year-old wife (pictured), his brother-in-law and his father-in-law were all tortured to death. At the time of his wife's death, his son, Tianxing, was just over one year old. -
Overview of the Persecution During the Past Seven Years in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province
2006-12-21Dafa practitioner Chen Yunchuan's family was from Canfangying Village, Beixinbao Township. All five people in his family cultivated Falun Dafa diligently. After July 20th, 1999, their whole family went to Beijing to appeal. They were arrested by police from the Tiananmen Police Station. Chen Yunchuan's oldest son Chen Aizhong, youngest son Chen Aili, and daughter Chen Hongping were all tortured to death. His wife passed away while they were homeless. His oldest daughter Chen Shulan is married and lives in Yanqing County. She practises Dafa and was arrested and held in the local prison there. -
Ms. Cao Aihua Tortured to Death in Xinjiang Women's Forced Labour Camp
2006-12-20Ms. Cao Aihua, a Falun Dafa practitioner, was arrested in August 2006 when she wrote messages to promote quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on paper money. In the middle of November, Ms. Cao was sent to the Urumqi Women's Forced Labour Camp. This was the third time Ms. Cao had been put into a forced labour camp. She died within a week as a result of torture. -
Ms. Zhang Yunzhi from Qiqihar City Dies from Brutal Beatings
2006-12-20Ms. Zhang Yunzhi, was a 51-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner. She began to practise Falun Dafa in October 1998 and actively participated in doing things that spoke out for justice for Falun Dafa, including going to Beijing to appeal. Ms. Zhang was arrested five times since 2000. The first four times she was arrested, she was detained in Nianzishan District Detention Centre. However, the last time she was arrested she was beaten until she nearly died. Her entire body became swollen and her legs oozed fluid as a result of the extreme and merciless beatings. Eventually she died on October 2nd, 2006 from severe damage to her internal organs from the beatings. -
Mr. Yang Fengbin Tortured to Death in 2004
2006-12-20Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Fengbin, 58, was a stone carver, had a very healthy body, and was well-known in the village for his kindness. In 2004, Mr. Yang was arrested by policemen from the Dongcun Town Department without reason. The police beat him cruelly and tortured him. He was tortured to death in only four days. Policemen notified his family and lied, saying that Mr. Yang committed suicide by jumping off the building. His family doesn't have any place to voice their grievances. -
Peasant Detained for Trying to be a Good Person, Mother and Mother-In-Law Die in Suffering
2006-12-20In autumn 2000, someone from the Political and Legal Party Committee of the county government came to ask me what I thought of Falun Gong. I replied that I regained my health after only ten days of practice. A few days later, I was arrested and taken to the detention centre again and sent to the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp two days later. The camp wardens forced me and other practitioners to write letters renouncing Dafa and to attend brainwashing classes. My 80-year-old mother-in-law's health declined due to fear because of my arrests. She soon passed away. My 86-year-old mother also could not see me one last time before she passed away.
