  After the first two witnesses exposed the Sujiatun atrocities, another witness who identified himself as "a veteran military doctor in the General Logistics Department of the Shenyang Military Region" stepped forward to point out that the Sujiatun Concentration Camp indeed exists, organ harvesting and cremation of bodies is done routinely there, and some are even cremated while still alive. He stated that the Sujiatun hospital is only one of 36 similar concentration camps. Findings from the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong point to a similar situation.

• Police in Changzhou and Shanghai Prohibit Friends of Deceased Practitioner Wu Dianhui to Visit His Family

  After suffering brutal tortures for over six years, Wu Dianhui passed away on February 11th 2006. During his two-year detention, the police shocked him with electric batons, which burned his skin. He was forced to do intensive labour during the day and was deprived of sleep at night. Very frequently he was put into solitary confinement, handcuffed, chained, and beaten by other inmates.

• Ms. Liu Shuhong Died in 2005 from Persecution in Shandong Province

  Ms. Liu Shuhong, a 35-year-old Falun Gong practitioner, was frequently persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime. She was persecuted to the point of metal collapse, and later her husband was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. During this long-term persecution, Mrs. Liu's health deteriorated further, and she finally passed away on July 25th, 2005.

• Mr. Zhou Shouzhong, Former Mayor of Panjin City, Dies as a Result of the Persecution

  After he started practising Falun Gong, 72-year-old Mr. Zhou Shouzhong, former mayor of Panjin City, Liaoning Province, became very healthy and his formerly incurable illness disappeared. When the persecution of Falun Gong started, Mr. Zhou was subjected to all kinds of pressure and disturbance. Mr. Zhou had to give up the practice. He was forced to go to hospital and was told that he would live for only several weeks. After over a year of suffering, Mr. Zhou died with regret in late 2005.

• Four Practitioners from Inner Mongolia, Hubei and Hebei Provinces Pass Away Due to Persecution

  After she started practising Falun Gong in 1995, 61-year-old Ms. Fan Daozhi miraculously recovered from her diabetes. In April 2000, on her way to appeal in Beijing, she was arrested and detained in the Hewan Forced Labour Camp. Three months later, Ms. Fan's severe suffering, both mentally and physically from the persecution, caused a relapse of her diabetes. After arriving at home, the lawless authorities continued to harass her in her home. Under the long-term harassment and persecution by CCP personnel, Ms. Fan died of illness in late October 2005.

• Remembering My Mother Wu Yuxian

  During the Lantern Festival, I could no longer restrain my repressed sadness and anxiety. My mother, a Falun Dafa practitioner, had passed away on February 9th, 2006 due to the evil Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution. Recalling my mother's life, many thoughts and feelings surfaced. Even after my mother was persecuted to death, they still wouldn't quit, and continued to bring more pressure and cause more trouble. In addition, there are still countless families that are suffering the same kind of cruel persecution in China today.

• Persecution-Related Deaths of Twenty-four More Practitioners Verified in February (Photos)

  Civil channels in February 2006 have verified the torture deaths of twenty-four Falun Gong practitioners from Mainland China. Since the Chinese Communist Regime under former dictator Jiang Zemin's directions began persecuting Falun Gong on July 20th, 1999, a total of 2,838 practitioners have been verified to have been tortured to death. Among these 24 death cases, eight of them took place in February alone. The victims' ages ranged from 35 to 64. Eleven of the 24 practitioners (46%) were women.

• Family Members of Falun Dafa Practitioners Persecuted at Baimalong Labour Camp Appeal to the International Community

  We had previously exposed the atrocities at the Baimalong Forced Labour Camp on September 1st, 2005. The labour camp received many phone calls and faxes sent from overseas to condemn their crimes. The atrocities did not stop, however, but escalated. The labour camp authorities and the CCP agents launched a frenzied retaliation against the people who signed the public letter. Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Yunlan was tortured until she had a mental breakdown, after which her family took her home. In November 2005, the CCP agents hit and killed her with a car in order to destroy evidence of their crimes.

• The Persecution that Practitioner Mr. Li Huimin from Hebei Province, Endured before His Death

  Mr. Li Huimin had suffered five years of physical and mental torture. He also underwent intensive brainwashing and slave labour for his refusal to give up the practice of Falun Gong. All three members of his family were arrested. When his home was ransacked, they found a written indictment against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the CCP< and a letter to Jizhou City officials exposing the persecution. They thought his daughter had written it, so they tortured her. This long-term pressure eventually took a toll on Mr. Li's health. He developed high blood pressure and became very weak and depressed upon his release in 2005. He died on the morning of February 5th, 2006.

• Three More Practitioners in Xinjiang, Shandong and Heilongjiang Provinces Die as a Result of Persecution

  Mr. Zhou Shimin was a teacher in Shandong Province. After he started practising Falun Dafa in 1994, his heart problem, high blood pressure, and other illnesses all disappeared without a trace. After the persecution began, he kept explaining the truth of Falun Dafa with his own experience to the public. As a result, he was constantly harassed and once detained and forced to go through brainwashing, causing great damage to his mind and body. He passed away on June 8th, 2003, at the age of 65.

• Elderly Dafa Practitioner Mr Zheng Dinghe from Guizhou Province Persecuted to Death

  In September 2005, 64-year-old Zheng Dinghe went to visit his daughter and was arrested. On December 4th, he was taken back home by the 610 Office. Without any legal procedure, he was thrown into a detention centre the same day. On February 18th, 2006, the police sent him to hospital for emergency treatment, without notifying his family. The second day Zheng Dinghe's son received a notice that his father had died in the hospital that morning. When Zheng's family rushed to the hospital, they saw that his ears, mouth and nose were stuffed with cotton. His body had shrunk in size. He was only skin and bones. His hands clenched tightly. His right toes were opaque and rotten to the point that bones could be seen.

• Detailed Information about Wang Tiesong's Torture Death at the Yanbian Forced Labour Camp in 2001

  Agents for the Communist regime arrested Wang Tiesong in October 2000 and tortured him to death at the Yanbian Forced Labour Camp in 2001. Wang Tiesong was a 32-year-old young man whom the guards murdered by savagely beating him for three hours. Wang Tiesong died for his firm belief, just because he insisted on living his life according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, to be a good person. His elderly parents have lost their son.

  Practitioner Ms. Wang Zhiqiang, 40, lived in Liaoning Province. She went to Beijing twice to appeal and was arrested many times. Her home was ransacked multiple times. She was held in custody centres, detention centres, brainwashing classes and forced labour camps, where she was savagely tortured. She broke free and lived a homeless life. Due to the hardships of going from place to place she died on December 11th, 2005.

• Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Die Due to Persecution

  Practitioner Ms. Yao Fuqin was 59 years old, and had severe heart disease before cultivating Falun Dafa, and took lots of medicine. Since beginning Falun Dafa practice in 1994, she had not taken any medicine and her heart disease disappeared. She rode her bike to spread Falun Dafa everywhere, telling people how miraculously her sicknesses disappeared. In 2000, she was detained in Tangshan City First Detention Centre for nine months, and it severely injured her, both mentally and physically. After she returned home, the district Education Bureau, 610 Office and police sent many people to harass her at home. They threatened her and subjected her to huge mental pressures. She died on October 30th, 2005.

• Police Try to Cover Up Theirs Crimes After Torturing Liu Zhirong to Death

  On January 14th, people from the Tianshui Court brought practitioner Mr. Liu Zhirong's family to see his body at the hospital. A secretary from the court told them that Mr. Liu's death was a result of suicide. Mr. Liu's frozen body was lying on top of a portable bed. There was blood on his forearms and hands. There was a 2 to 3 foot scar on the right side of his neck. Two of his blood vessels were cut. Liu's wife cried and shouted, "He did not commit suicide! He did not commit suicide! He was tortured to death by you, the police! I will find out who the murderer is." She knew that her husband was a true believer and practitioner of Falun Gong and was an honorable man. He would never have attempted to commit suicide.
