Persecution Leads to Death of Wang Shuting in Hebei Province
2004-08-07
Mr. Wang Shuting lived in Hebei Province. After Jiang's regime started the persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999, police often went to Wang's home to harass him and his family. They sent him to the county detention centre. After he returned home, the police still kept harassing him, causing great mental anguish to him. As a result of the persecution, Wang became mentally disoriented and could not take care of himself. On December 24, 2003, he died in a hospital. -
Dafa Practitioner Liu Xiaodong Tortured to Death at Beian Prison in Heilongjiang Province
2004-08-06Liu Xiaodong, 33, was arrested at work by the local police. he was sent to a detention centre, where he was chained to an iron chair inside an iron cage. He went on a hunger strike. The police beat him and force-fed him with concentrated salt solution for 4 days in a row. His kidneys failed and on January 8, 2004, Liu Xiaodong died in Beian Prison. -
Ms. Zhang Hong Dies from Torture at the Wanjia Labour Camp
2004-08-06Zhong Hong was a 31-year-old Dafa practitioner from Harbin City. She was sent to the Second Detention Centre in Harbin. On May 10 2004, her family was allowed to visit her. That was the last time her family saw her alive. In the beginning of June, she was sentenced to 3 years of forced labour. On July 31, the labour camp informed her family that she had died in the 211 Hospital of Harbin. When her family went to the hospital, they saw that her eyes and mouth were wide open, and she had lost about 40 pounds of weight in a very short period of time. -
Changchun City Authorities Responsible for the Murder of Practitioner Jiang Yong
2004-08-06Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Jiang Yong, age 46, lived in Changchun City. On April 13, 2004, policemen from the Changchun City followed him, illegally arrested him and then detained him without notifying his family. When they discovered where he was his family went to the detention centre many times and requested to see him. They were refused. On July 4, someone from the Tiebei Detention Centre informed Jiang Yong's family of his death saying "he died from a sudden disease and emergency treatment failed." Within two months of being sent to Tiebei Detention Centre, Jiang was tortured to death. When they learned this news, his wife and family cried profusely in extreme grief. -
Gong Zhenqing from Jilin City Suffered a Relapse and Passed Away after Being Forced to Renounce Falun Gong
2004-08-05Gong Zhenqing was from Jilin Province and was 45 years old. He was harassed so many times that he was seriously traumatized physically and mentally and he finally gave up his practice of Falun Dafa. Mr. Gong began to suffer relapses of old diseases, including uremia. On June 15, 2004, Mr. Gong Zhenqing wrote a solemn statement and expressed his will to resume his practice of Falun Dafa, yet he passed away on June 22, 2004. -
Accusing Harbin City Prison Police Personnel to the Supreme Procuratorate
2004-08-04During the time that we were in Harbin Prison, the law-enforcement personnel in the prison carried out the so-called "forced education" to achieve their hypocritical political goals. They implemented extreme inhumane persecution and ill-treatment to Falun Dafa practitioners in the prison, which resulted in the death of two practitioners. (Wang Weihua in No. 2 Ward died on June 9, 2003; Wang Dayuan in No. 2 Ward died on April 5, 2004.) Several dozens of other people suffered brutality and torture of different degrees. -

While I was looking at her I couldn't help but think about the loss of her mother and the love she held towards her father. We really felt pity towards this little girl who had suffered so much. Little Kaixin, who was less than two years old, arrived in Guangzhou with her paternal grandparents after traveling a great distance hoping to see her mother, but all that awaited them was the dead body of her mother." -
Practitioner Jiang Yong Dies as a Result of Torture in Changchun
2004-08-01Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Jiang Yong was 46 years old, and lived in Jilin Province. He was tortured to death on July 4, 2004. According to those who saw his dead body, there were rope marks on his neck, and many dark bruises on his chest and upper back. His eyes were wide open, and blood oozed out of his mouth when his body was touched. Some tissues were placed under his rectum. Police were frantically stopping people from taking photos of his body, and even beat his family members. -
Harbin Prison Secretly Transfers Practitioners to Other Prisons in Order to Conceal a Torture Death
2004-07-29On July 1, 2004, the Harbin Prison suddenly and secretly transferred more than seventy Falun Gong practitioners to prisons in other cities of Daqing, Tailai, and Mudanjiang. During this period, Wang Dayuan, a Falun Dafa practitioner who was a young scientist and lecturer in Harbin Industry University, was tortured to death on April 5. In order to conceal the truth and evade the responsibility for the crime, the Harbin Prison secretly transferred the practitioners to other prisons. -
Dafa Practitioner Ms. Geng Xuezhi from Shandong Province Died As A Result of Torture
2004-07-28Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Geng Xuezhi went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa near the end of 1999, but the police arrested her and took her back to Pingdu City, Shandong Province. The persecutors brutally tortured her during her detention. She was detained in an old building with broken windows in the middle of winter. As a result, Geng Xuezhi became very ill from the extended exposure to extreme cold. She continued to suffer from her illness after she was released, and medical treatment over a long period of time failed to save her life. -
56 Year Old Dafa Practitioner Ms. Cao Jinling Dies as a Result of Persecution in the Fuxin Forced Labour Camp
2004-07-27Ms. Cao Jinling, a 56 year old farmer from Liaoning Province went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa and was illegally detained in the female division of the Fuxin Forced Labour Camp. During her period, she was forced to do heavy labour, which led to long term, prolonged bleeding. In September 2001 she was released. However the bleeding continued and was diagnosed to be in the late stages of cervical cancer. She passed away on June 17, 2004. -
Comprehensive Report: 165 Death Cases Reported in the First Half of 2004, 75 of These Died This Year
2004-07-27According to data obtained from the Clearwisdom.net, in the first half-year of 2004, 165 cases of Falun Dafa practitioners dying as a result of persecution were confirmed through nongovernmental channels. Among these cases, 75 practitioners were tortured to death. In total, from July 20, 1999, when Jiang Zemin's and his followers started to brazenly persecute Falun Dafa, to June 30, 2004, 998 Falun Dafa practitioners are confirmed to have died as a result of persecution. -
Some Details about the Persecution Suffered by the Late Dafa Practitioner Han Zhenju
2004-07-27"After reading the article "Death of Han Zhenju from persecution by Kaiping Labour Camp in Tangshan City", I am putting down here details of some of the inhuman conditions at the various camps that led to his death. Although the guards there knew very well that Han had a history of cardiac problems, they still used high voltage electric batons, as well as other torturing devices on him. Han refused to take food for another 50 or more days to protest against the officers for taking away his Dafa books and the notes he wrote about the persecution. Finally, on May 15, 2004, Han collapsed and died from the persecution he was subjected to." -
Mr. Dong Dejun from Jilin Province Dies after Brutal Beating in Labour Camp
2004-07-2661 year old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Dong Dejun, lived in Jilin Province. Mr. Dong was arrested and brought to the Yinmahe Labour Camp in Jiutai on March 27 2002, where within only two days he was beaten until he was physically disabled. His nervous system was damaged and he could no longer take care of himself. After experiencing pain from the torture for over 800 days and nights, he tragically passed away on June 27, 2004. -
Brutality at the Harbin Female Prison: 60 Year Old Qu Jie Tortured to Death
2004-07-26Ms. Qu Jie was a practitioner from Heilongjiang Province. She was a retired worker around 60 years old. Because she firmly cultivated Falun Dafa, she was arrested in late April 2002 and later sentenced to four years in prison. Recently Ms. Qu was tortured to death at the Harbin Female Prison in Heilongjiang Province. The details of her death are yet to be investigated.
