The Persecution That Mr. Wang Hongtian Suffered in Jiutai Yinmahe Labour Camp Before His Death
2004-07-09
In November 2001, police in Dehui City, Jilin Province kidnapped Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Hongtian as he distributed Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. A few days later, he was sent to a Labour Camp in Jilin Province. This was the second time that Mr. Wang had been sent to this labour camp. He was interrogated and tortured to find out where he got the Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. In the latter half of 2002 he was tortured again severely and he was released. He passed away on September 2002. -
60 Year Old Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Qin Jinxiu of Hubei Province, Passed Away Due to Continuous Persecution
2004-07-06Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Qin Jinxiu, was 60 years old and retired. She was imprisoned many times and brutally tortured. Ms. Qin, however, refused to compromise and insisted on telling people the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution, using any means. The police put her in a cell with just enough room for one person to stand, and interrogated her.every three hours, did not allow her to sleep, eat, or use the toilet. After she was allowed to go home, she was harassed by police and passed away on February 23, 2004. -
Supplementary Information About the Death of Ms Li Chunrong - Lingyuan City Police Responsible (Photo)
2004-07-05Ms. Li Chunrong lived in Liaoning Province. Ms. Li was persecuted because she practised Falun Gong and died at the age of 48. She was abducted and sent to a detention centre for two weeks. She was mentally tormented, and physically abused. Just three days after her husband brought her home, she suffered a brain haemorrhage and passed away. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Meng Qingxia from Jilin Province Dies as a Result of the Persecution
2004-07-04Ms. Meng Qingxia was a 40-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner from Jilin Province. She was sent to Changchun City Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp in November 2002. During the detention, as she remained firm in her belief, yet torture made her so weak that she was skin and bones. In November 2003, she was sent back home. However, she was never able to recover and passed away on April 1, 2004. -
Ms Shen Jianli, a Lecturer from Jilin University, is Tortured to Death, Her Family Members Also Suffer Greatly
2004-07-04On March 6, 2002, Ms Shen Jianli, a Jilin university lecturer, went to attend her husband Zheng Weidong's trial. The authorities arrested her inside the courtroom and left her daughter alone at the gate of the court. Zheng Weidong was sentenced to 13 years in prison. Within one month of her arrest, Ms. Shen was tortured to death. This injustice allowed for a wife and mother to be tortured to death, and for a husband and father to be sentenced to a long prison term. A little girl thus lost her father at age 3 and her mother when she was just 5. -
An Account of the Persecution My Wife and I Suffered and How She Was Tortured To Death
2004-07-04My name is Zhang Qizhen. I am fifty-five years old and a Dafa practitioner. My wife, An Xiukun, also a practitioner, was forty-nine years old. My wife went to Beijing four times to appeal. Each time she was arrested, detained, and tortured. In June 2000, the police brutally force-fed her in a detention centre. She was rendered comatose. When intravenous infusion failed to revive her, she was sent to the hospital on June 7. She died on June 11. I also suffered brutal treatment for three years in a labour camp. -
Ms Li Shuhua's Father Accuses Yushu City Police of Killing His Daughter
2004-07-04Ms. Li Shuhua, 32, lived in Yushu City, Jilin Province. In September 2003, she was abducted by local police and beaten to death thirteen days later because she practised Falun Gong. After death, her face showed a depression on one side and the other side was visibly bruised. Her once plump body was now extremely skinny. Both Li's husband and mother were also imprisoned for practising Falun Gong. She left behind her elderly father and two young children. -
The Persecution Suffered by Practitioner Han Chenchu Before His Death in Hebei Province Labour Camp
2004-07-03On May 14, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Han Chenchu's family members suddenly received a notice from the Tangshan Kaiping Labour Camp, saying that Han was critically ill. Family members hurried to the labour camp, but they were not permitted to see him. The next day, they lied to the family and said that Han Chenchu had died from a heart attack. His family were grief-stricken, fellow villagers shed tears of sadness and people wondered how such an honest and good person could die such a tragic death at the hands of his own government. -
Two Female Practitioners Die of Hanging Torture at Baoanzhao Prison in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region
2004-07-02Two Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Zhou Caixia and Ms Wang were both subjected to the very cruel torture hanging in Baoanzhao Prison in Inner Mongolia, which caused their deaths. In the case of Ms. Zhou Caixia in July 2003, she was beaten whilst hanging from a iron spike and only after she passed out and was taken down did the guards realise she had died. -
Dafa Practitioner Mr Wang Jinzhong from Liaoning Province, Tortured to Death at Detention Centre (Photo)
2004-07-02Wang Jinzhong, 48, was a very tall and strong man. He was also very sincere and kindhearted. On the afternoon of May 20, police took him away while he was at work. After torturing him, the police sent him to Tiexi Detention Centre. On the afternoon of June 14, he was tortured to death. Afterwards, the police took his dead body to a hospital. The doctors confirmed that he was already dead even before he was taken to the hospital. On the same day of his death, his work unit, Zhongshan Park, had a meeting announcing to all employees that Wang had committed suicide. -
Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wang Shujun From Hebei Province Dies as a Result of Torture
2004-07-0136 year old Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Shujun from Handan City, Hebei Province was unjustly detained for three years. After his release, perpetrators from the local "610 Office" continued to persecute him and arrested him again. Wang Shujun was still weak then, but the police proceeded to torture him until he was on the verge of death. The authorities finally released him, fearing he would die at the labour camp. Wang Shujun passed away at 4:00 a.m. on June 20, 2004. -
Torture Death of Heilongjiang Province Dafa Practitioner Mr. Liu Xiaodong in Prison
2004-07-01Mr. Liu Xiaodong was an employee of Hailun City's Rural Credit Co-op in Heilongjiang Province. After July 20, 1999, Hailun City police officers took him to the Hailun City Detention Centre. In October 2003, Liu Xiaodong was extremely weak, but the Hailun City Court sentenced him to two years in the Beian City Prison. Liu Xiaodong died in prison on March 8, 2004 at the age of 32. -
Two Falun Gong Practitioners from Heilongjiang Province Died as a Result of Criminal Abuse in Same Detention Centre
2004-07-0170 Year-old Falun Gong Practitioner Zhang Shouxin from Heilongjiang Province was arrested and detained in June 2000 in a Detention Centre. His whole body became swollen and was covered with ulcerous scabies. Although he was released in October 2000, he passed away in April 2001. Mr. Zhu Jun, a retired worker was also detained at the same detention centre until he became semi-paralysed. Mr. Zhu passed away in March 2002, shortly after he was released. -
64 year old Dafa Practitioner Mr. Bi Guohua of Shandong Province Is Beaten to Death by Police
2004-06-30Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Bi Guohua, 64 years old, lived in Rongcheng City, Shandong Province. At about seven o'clock on June 4, 2004, seven police officers from the Rongcheng City's "610 Office" broke into his house, arrested him and brutally beat him to death. To cover up their crime, the police told the public that Mr. Bi Guohua had a sudden heart attack; he fainted and fell, accidentally killing himself. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhang Jianhua Dies on a "Constraining Bed" in Jilin Prison (Illustration)
2004-06-29Mr. Zhang Jianhua, who was around 50 years old, and was sent to the Jilin Prison not long before the Chinese New Year's Day. On New Year's Eve, he refused to follow the demands from the lawless officials and was thrown on a quilt and beaten by inmates taking instructions from prison guards. Mr. Zhang was then taken to a "maximum security unit." The guards in the prison did not take him to the hospital. Instead, they continued the torture by leaving him on the "constraining bed." On January 22, 2004, which was the Chinese New Year's Day, he passed away on the "constraining bed."
